Agile templates and tracking

Pros

The built-in request templates help cut down the time needed for initial input which makes getting started much faster. Keeping up with existing change requests is also easy and it fits very well with an AGILE way of working where sprint cycles need to be tracked and reviewed on a daily basis.

Cons

Platform offers several different ways to use it which can create confusion between team members. It can also take on a bit of a data warehouse effect, where tickets end up getting lost, overlooked or even duplicated. Without great team-level management, it can quickly become cluttered and turn into a dumping ground for too much data.

Project management features

Pros

After nearly three years of using this software, I'm still impressed by how much it offers for project management. We can begin by creating stories and epics, then log time against each story as work progresses. It also lets us check every user's timesheet for the full month which is really helpful for tracking effort. On top of that, the Kanban board gives a clear view of the stories in each sprint. Overall, it's an excellent tool for managing projects.

Cons

There haven't been any major issues for me overall. That said, we have run into a few outages that kept us from accessing the software for a while and at times it can feel a bit slow.

great customization and automation

Pros

Biggest strength here is how much you can tailor the software to fit your needs. It supports custom workflows and automation which is really helpful for keeping a team aligned and compliant with established processes.

Cons

Performance is tough to manage. It feels extremely slow, click, then wait, then click again. This tool still hasn't made the app feel responsive even in the SaaS version. Speed matters in a tool like this and this one really struggles there. When something goes wrong, it tends to crash hard instead of failing gracefully. The application is also quite heavy so startup takes about as long as you'd expect. On top of that, the configuration can be inconsistent and the error messages are often vague and hard to interpret.

Agile execution done right

Pros

It covers nearly everything needed to plan sprints and stay aligned with Agile practices. The customer support is outstanding and the regular updates make the application enjoyable to keep using. It also helps every team member clearly follow their own tasks as well as see what their colleagues are working on.

Cons

Because so many features have been added, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first for new users. That said, after spending some time with the application, it becomes much easier to get used to.

Boards and roadmaps

Pros

It's platform got a full rebuild and redesign about 18 months ago and the updated interface is much more simple and easy to navigate. It's an extremely capable solution for managing tasks, projects and teams. Once everything is set up properly, you can create boards, manage agile and sprint workflows, build roadmaps and do quite a bit more. It's also very customizable and integrates effectively with other tools through its APIs.

Cons

Overall, the software is excellent. That said, permissions and configuration settings can still be tricky to keep track of at times. Setting everything up correctly takes a bit of practice and it really helps to keep things as simple as possible so it's easier to train others on how to use the platform.

Integration strengths but task tracking complexity

Pros

This tool works really well with larger software products and gives users real-time updates which is something I've appreciated a lot.

Cons

Even though it integrates nicely with standard business software and generally works without much trouble, the task management side feels confusing. I can see they're aiming to provide a more detailed view of each team member's progress but the way it's set up isn't very clear.

Great for tickets

Pros

Managing tickets with this software feels very easy. It's simple to organize everything, stay on top of progress and link multiple bug tickets together so they can all be tracked and worked on without opening each one individually. The boards are also a really useful addition.

Cons

At this point, I honestly don't have anything negative to say about it. I've been really happy with the software and would absolutely recommend it.

Team alignment platform

Pros

Running sprints and managing projects feels well covered with this comprehensive platform. The professional forums are genuinely helpful whenever support or advice is needed. Its biggest advantage is bringing the whole team into one shared space where information and project status can be communicated clearly. It also has enough flexibility to work well across different kinds of products.

Cons

Because the platform is so comprehensive, it does take some background knowledge to use effectively and entry-level employees may struggle at first with how complex it feels.

Task cards and mentions

Pros

Creating task cards works really well and being able to mention the right person directly on them helps keep responsibilities clear.

Cons

It's not as easy to use as some other software so there's a bit more of a learning curve.

Planning boards

Pros

Using it has been pretty easy especially with the drag-and-drop cards that turn requirements into stories. It helps organize work clearly and assigning tasks to different team members is simple and practical for day-to-day collaboration.

Cons

One thing that feels missing is having iOS and Android apps since it would make collaborating on the go and updating changes in real time much more convenient. Pricing could also be a bit more cost-effective.

Tracking that delivers

Pros

Keeping tabs on project status and overall progress is much more manageable with this tool. You can tag specific people pretty much anywhere which makes communication quicker and clearer. It also has a ticketing system that lets anyone submit a ticket whenever there's a task to handle or a bug to report.

Cons

My one consistent complaint is the interface. It feels very outdated, especially for 2019 and looks more like something designed back in 2009.

Simple for management

Pros

Getting started with this tool has been very easy. Registering projects and managing them is really simple and handling boards while keeping up with project progress feels very comfortable. Attachments also work well.

Cons

The interface could be more user-friendly. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that feels uncomfortable to use.

Marketing ticketing solution

Pros

From a marketing perspective, this has been the go-to ticketing system in my experience. I use it to submit requests for landing page creation, email execution and other marketing tasks. It's very easy to use, just fill in the required fields for the ticket type and submit it.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is being listed as a watcher on a ticket because I end up getting flooded with emails every time someone comments or makes any change. I'd much rather have those notifications sent through Slack instead of Outlook.

Scrum execution done right

Pros

Running scrum with this has been ideal and I really appreciate how simple it is to manage the product backlog and adjust priorities whenever needed.

Cons

Editing the contents of stories feels a little more fiddly than it probably needs to be but honestly it's a very minor issue overall.

Fantastic repository integration

Pros

This web application has been absolutely amazing for managing and organizing our workflow. It became even more valuable once they added the Bitbucket integration. Every commit, pull request and branch is neatly tied to the right ticket and specific task which keeps everything well structured.

Cons

The biggest downside is that it can be very difficult for non-technical people to learn. Anyone without a tech background will probably need quite a lot of time just to understand how to use the software properly.

Built for agile groups

Pros

It comes with quite a few features that can genuinely improve how a development team works together and in an agile setup those capabilities are especially valuable.

Cons

It is tough to start because the learning curve is very steep. There are a lot of features in the software and several different ways to use it so even after figuring it out yourself, training the rest of the team can still be challenging.

Workflow collaboration

Pros

Right out of the box, the platform lines up well with Agile workflows since epics, user stories and tasks are already built in. The AD integration works really well too and being able to mention multiple people on tickets makes collaboration much better. Comments and tasks help keep conversations and work moving forward in one place.

Cons

Getting comfortable with the software can be pretty challenging for some users especially at the beginning. A few important buttons, like add task and log time, are quite small and can be hard for new users to notice or use. Managing and planning sprints can also feel a bit difficult.

Agile-ready templates

Pros

From small teams to large enterprises, this software adapts really well and handles both with the same level of efficiency. It's highly customizable so you can either pick from the available templates or build your own to match the way your organization works. It also helps teams get started with Agile or move from their current process into Agile development without much friction.

Cons

There isn't any major issue to point out. If anything could be improved, it would be having a better way to track dependencies across multiple teams.

Reliable communication hub

Pros

Every company runs into challenges when it comes to finding the right way for teams, offices and outside providers to stay connected. This software feels like a key tool for keeping employee communication clear while also helping everyone follow tasks inside the workspace. It's fairly simple to work with and monitor and the notification system does a really good job of making sure updates don't go unnoticed.

Cons

Honestly, I can't point to any real drawbacks. The design isn't flashy and the navigation isn't especially simple but that actually seems like a deliberate tradeoff so the platform can stay focused on the core tasks it's meant to handle.

great dashboard suite

Pros

We used it to build Agile dashboards and it handled Scrum, Kanban and other board styles really well. It's also a great tool for managing tickets, user stories and similar work items. Most of our usage was around user story tracking and project status reporting across several projects. Different board setups, workflows and user configurations can be customized based on each project's needs. It also offers detailed project reporting through its query-based UI and the dashboard can display visuals like pie charts so the whole team can quickly see project progress and status. On our projects, we made heavy use of the reporting views and board configuration options.

Cons

With so many features available, it's fairly easy to lose track of what changed if you accidentally modify something. The other downside is that the software is quite expensive.
