Pros
What I like the most is that its stable, reliable, comprehensive and well known as an industry standard.
Cons
I find some UI aspects in my version of Jira quite annoying. For instance, screenshots are always added as thumbnails, the text styling options in the ticket description box are limited, formatting in the editing view differs from the saved view, and it is quite difficult to locate past tickets.

Jira is highly customizable, it can be as simple or complex as you need it to be, meaning it works for you rather than the other way around. While this often requires hiring specialist roles like a Salesforce specialist, Jira stands out with its wide, publicly available knowledge base. Any question or issue you might encounter has likely been addressed and solved by someone else. The community is excellent always providing step by step solutions. New features are introduced continuously and it integrates with almost everything out there.
Cons
Jira is not ideal for large-scale delivery. Although the planner tries to address this, it lacks the same level of user insight as the rest of the Atlassian suite.
