Well-structured task management

Pros

The way tasks are organized works really well and being able to assign and spread them across different teams is something I really appreciated.

Cons

As someone new to the platform, it can feel a little overwhelming at first. It would help to simplify or combine some tasks and offer better training so users can stay organized and follow best practices more easily.

Organized communication

Pros

It's customizable and does a good job of keeping communication organized across our internal teams.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is when a ticket is cloned and updated, the comments section fills up with huge blocks of text listing every change. There are also way too many email alerts.

Best-in-class issue tracking

Pros

Nothing I've used handles issue tracking better. The web interface is excellent and connecting it with other tools is easy. It also works really well with the rest of the Atlassian ecosystem which definitely makes their other products more appealing. It doesn't lock you in so you can still pair it with non-Atlassian tools for software management without a problem.

Cons

The tradeoff for all that power and flexibility is complexity especially in the way workflows are configured for issue tracking. Once you need to tailor the flow of tracked and resolved issues to match your own process, the setup can feel pretty overwhelming at the beginning.

Complete sprint toolkit

Pros

As an AGILE project tool, this one feels very complete. It helps you track and measure your team's progress while also supporting sprint commitments. The cards are also simple to configure so you can add as many features as you need.

Cons

A few features are not very easy to locate and it takes some time to become fully aware of everything the product can do. That said, the user experience was improved in the previous update.

Boards and sprint tracking

Pros

Compared with tools like Trello, this software can handle a lot more and covers details that other platforms simply don't. It keeps all the important development information in one place, including who created each card, who it's assigned to, acceptance criteria, descriptions and comments. It also gives developers and QA a way to track story points and log time spent on a project. One of the best parts is being able to build boards that clearly show card workflow, along with support for creating sprints.

Cons

Getting started was probably the hardest part. At first, it took quite a bit of time to get comfortable with how everything works. Once I became familiar with all the features and functionality though, it really showed how much the platform is capable of doing.

Clean design and confluence fit

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how clean it feels. It's simple to manage and customizing the design to match the look I want is very easy. I also value how well it works with Confluence.

Cons

A downside is that it can use a lot of memory. When I'm on a video conference and trying to use it at the same time with remote employees, the load times usually get pretty long.

Email updates and CC support

Pros

Being able to raise a ticket while adding someone in CC is one of the most useful features and sharing attachments along with it makes the process even better. It also sends updates by email which helps a lot when you are not checking the platform regularly.

Cons

A reminder option would make it better in cases where someone misses a ticket by mistake. That way, they could be prompted to review it without notifying everyone who is copied in CC.

feasible ticketing flow

Pros

Ticket handling feels very convenient and I really appreciate being able to notify different roles depending on the issue. It also does a great job of showing tasks and their dependencies clearly so everyone can see how things are connected.

Cons

It still gets seen as a project management tool built mainly for developers and the interface doesn't do much to change that perception. Compared with something like Todoist, the UI feels a lot less friendly.

Team collaboration and workflow limitations

Pros

Works well for sprint planning and keeping track of tasks.

Cons

Creating and sharing templates for the tool is more complicated than it should be. When using it to document meetings, details tend to get lost because of the wiki features. It was also difficult for the business and design teams to take part in project discussions and planning in an effective way.

Agile tracking toolkit

Pros

It works really well for tracking Agile application development. The features I appreciate most are the flexible customization options and the convenient integration with Bitbucket and other source control tools.

Cons

The biggest downside is the price since it's quite expensive compared with other competing products on the market.

Subtasks and user stories

Pros

Using this software feels very easy and the subtask feature is something I rely on all the time. Adding user stories is also very convenient which makes the overall workflow much better.

Cons

Sometimes clicking on a subtask does not take me back to the main task. Other than that, everything else has been really good.

Agile ticketing fit

Pros

It works really well with our company's agile approach to ticket tracking. If your team follows agile methodology, it's a very great option and simple to work with.

Cons

At times, there's just too much information involved when creating IT tickets so the process can feel a little overwhelming.

Team success boost

Pros

An excellent tool for managing projects across multiple users. Since our team started using this software, we've been far more organized and a lot more successful overall.

Cons

There aren't any major issues although a few team members have mentioned that visibility is limited during certain stages of the product.

Boards for every team

Pros

One thing I really appreciated was the overall flexibility and the way it lets you set up different projects, boards and workflows depending on the kind of work being done. Our company relied on it for pretty much all project management needs, not just software development and it handled that range really well.

Cons

A few of the workflows felt a little frustrating when they were used for non-development tasks. To be fair though, the issues I ran into probably could have been prevented with a more capable IT admin managing the setup.

Visual boards everyone enjoys

Pros

Working with this tool feels very simple because it's highly visual and people genuinely enjoy using it. You can simply drag and drop items on a board and get going right away. Another big plus is how customizable it is since you can set up different configurations and settings for each project whenever needed.

Cons

Having so much visibility can become a challenge when you're handling more sensitive projects and it's not always easy to define and configure the exact set of permissions you want.

Bug tracking and updates

Pros

One thing I really value about this tool is how it helps me stay connected with our development team. I can report bugs, issues and suggestions they can actually use to improve the product which for us is a digital platform. It also lets me attach screenshots and tag the team responsible so there's more visibility and accountability. On top of that, I get notified about task progress which makes it much easier to keep track of what's happening.

Cons

Getting used to the tool was not very easy. It took several tries and a fair amount of time to understand where everything was and how to report things properly. An online training session or a demo would really help make the learning process faster and less frustrating.

Organized tickets and boards

Pros

Stakeholder emails automatically turn into tickets which keeps all our tasks organized really well. We also rely on the board feature a lot and the visual layout is especially helpful.

Collaboration keeps projects aligned

Pros

Our team uses it to stay on top of projects and work closely with other internal groups which really helps us deliver a stronger final result. Sending messages, images and project updates directly within the ticket is also very convenient and keeps everyone in the loop on the current status.

Cons

Things can become pretty confusing when a lot of teams are using the platform at the same time which is the case for us. It's clearly built as a developer-focused tool first so the overall look and feel is much more plain and functional than polished or visually appealing.

Tracking with handy dashboards

Pros

As a beginner-friendly option, this tool works really well for bug tracking and agile project management. It's a flexible system for planning and issue tracking and the GIT integration is a nice plus. You can also use it for time tracking and setting up project tasks without much hassle. Creating user stories and assigning issues to team members is easy. Even people with less technical knowledge can understand it pretty quickly. It comes with plenty of user-friendly features especially the dashboard which lets you see what matters at a glance and arrange things the way you want. The interface feels clean and approachable and dragging and dropping tasks makes daily use more convenient.

Cons

When too many functionalities are added, the tool can sometimes become slower. It would also be better if the reporting offered more detail.
