Agile workflow success

Pros

Getting started with it has been pretty easy. The interface feels very user-friendly and what really stands out is how thoroughly it covers the different situations that come up in an Agile project management process. From simple drag-and-drop actions and quick story point updates to multiple buckets, labels and filters for the specific workflows we need, it handles a lot really well. The release view is also a very useful way to keep track of releases. Since this is my first time working in an agile environment, it has definitely helped me ease into this style of project management.

Cons

From my location in India, the speed feels a bit slow at times. Another small frustration is that links inside tickets do not open in a new tab. Instead, they reload the same page where the ticket is already open which can be a little annoying now and then.

Flexible search

Pros

Being able to search using free text is really useful. I also appreciate how customizable the swim lanes are. On top of that, the integration with other products works very well.

Cons

One thing missing is a free version even if it came with limited features. I would have liked to use it for my personal projects.

Lifesaver for engineering teams

Pros

It's been a real lifesaver for our engineering team. Our support team can send ticket requests from Zendesk and the engineers can add them to the board and escalate everything based on priority which keeps the process organized and moving.

Cons

Initial setup does seem a little complicated so having some ready-made templates for common workflows would make getting started a lot more helpful.

Ticket tracking with Slack updates

Pros

Creating and tracking ticket issues is very easy which has made it really convenient for our team to stay on top of work. We also really appreciate the Slack integration since our exec team can keep up with recent activity there instead of constantly opening the platform and refreshing it for updates.

Cons

A feature we'd really like is the ability to assign one primary owner along with one or more secondary assignees. Sometimes tasks are connected and splitting them into two separate issues just doesn't make much sense. It would be much better if one person could complete their part and another could review or sign off afterward without needing to build out a whole workflow. Better integration with PM tools like Teamwork would also make it even more useful.

Collaborative ticket tracking

Pros

Keeping a large number of issue tickets organized across a project is where this really helps. Each ticket also includes plenty of options for different users which makes collaboration around issues much better.

Cons

Some parts of ticket management especially granting and sharing access, were not very simple or user-friendly at first. That said, once you use it daily for your projects, it becomes familiar pretty quickly.

Visibility into IT work

Pros

Among the tools available right now, this is definitely one of the most powerful. It gives a very clear view of all IT work, whether it's completed, still pending or currently open.

Cons

Although it does offer a basic option to select and pull the data you need, it becomes much more powerful if you know how to write queries in advanced mode. The basic option really needs to be designed in a more effective way.

Agile sprint planning done right

Pros

This project management software is user-friendly and works especially well for sprint planning and issue tracking within an Agile workflow.

Cons

Wiki pages offer limited customization and making alignment changes there can be difficult unless you already have experience with it.

useful but limited reporting

Pros

One thing that works well is the Kanban board which gives clear visual updates and better visibility into work in progress and sprint planning. Creating different kinds of tickets is also easy, whether it's a defect, story, spike, task or improvement.

Cons

Customizing and editing fields is pretty difficult and the reporting features feel limited especially when trying to view a full page of defects, stories and similar items. Notifications are also tricky to configure and there isn't any option to export.

sprint testing support

Pros

Throughout a sprint, this project management tool has been a big help to our team especially for handling test management across the full lifecycle. It really supports the work well and helps us stay on top of the default rate.

Cons

It could be better when it comes to RFC management, bug management and giving clearer visibility into the quality of deliverables.

easy ticket tracking

Pros

Even someone using it for the first time can pick it up quickly and start creating tickets without much trouble. It also lets every team member see the status of each item along with the related tasks that still need to be done which makes the whole process very efficient.

Cons

At times, the interface can still feel a bit confusing and it takes a while to get fully comfortable with navigating around it.

workflow editor win

Pros

Workflow editor is easily one of the strongest parts of this software and even with a lot of prior experience, I really haven't come across anything quite like it. Some might argue that it's not a must-have feature but for a business that's expanding, it becomes incredibly valuable. When a company is growing, there's usually a constant need to track many tasks at the same time especially since new priorities can come up without warning. This tool helps a lot with managing that kind of workload. It also does a very good job of organizing sprints across multiple teams working in parallel while still allowing room for different preferences, whether a team follows a more traditional approach or a newer setup.

Cons

One thing that really made the experience harder for me was how overly complex the layout feels. The project list is extremely large so it takes a while to properly understand the navigation and search options. It would really help if a future update added better tagging, categorization or some clearer way to classify projects so they're easier to find because right now searching for them can take more time than it should. The dashboard itself is fairly easy but I'm not a fan of how the reports are visualized. It's also limiting that tickets can't be assigned to multiple people at once. On top of that, only the person who originally created a ticket is allowed to close it which is pretty frustrating. There's no option to create columns or tables and notes are limited to plain text only. I'd also like to have automatic reporting for turnaround time on ticket closures. Another issue is performance on a weak internet connection since content can load poorly and sometimes the loading process stops completely.

great docs and community

Pros

The biggest advantage for me is how much documentation is available. Whenever you need to work something out, there's usually plenty of written guidance and past discussions to dig through until you find the answer. And if your question turns out to be unusually specific, you can always open a new discussion and ask it there.

Cons

something that bothers me most is how notifications are sent. It's possible to get multiple alerts for the exact same change inside the tool. Sure, you can create rules in your email client to filter the flood of daily messages but to me that still feels like a pretty significant downside.

Powerful testing platform

Pros

Across this category, it would be tough to come across a more advanced and user-friendly program on today's market. Even if someone intentionally tried to get lost among its many features and options, that would still be quite a challenge. It also works as an ideal answer to limited desk space since it allows you to handle multiple documents in different formats, from PDFs to video files, at the same time so there's no need to print everything out. One of the biggest challenges in product development today is testing, where weak points can be uncovered and corrected and that is exactly why this has become such a popular choice as one of the top testing tools available now.

Cons

Although it is recognized as one of the most well-developed online support solutions, new users can still feel a bit lost at first. It's similar to arriving in a new town, you just need a little time to get familiar with the surroundings. In most cases, it only takes about 1 to 2 days to understand how it works and start using it with confidence.

flexible cloud solution

Pros

From handling business work to software development, this platform covers just about every project management need in a very flexible way. The cloud architecture feels dependable and managing teams is easy and adaptable. It's also a well-recognized product in the software industry which adds confidence when using it across different kinds of projects.

Cons

Setting up projects that fall outside the standard use cases can be tricky and a bit confusing. The reporting features could offer more variety and getting more detailed or specialized reports usually means paying for extra add-ons.

Pros

Getting into the system is convenient thanks to single sign-on and it's helpful that you can set up notifications on tickets so you stay updated whenever changes happen.

Agile task manager

Pros

It fits Agile Scrum and Kanban projects really well. All tasks can be tracked in one place and there's plenty of room to customize it based on your project's scope and the way your team works.

Cons

From a feature standpoint, it doesn't really feel like anything is missing. That said, setting it up to match specific needs takes a fair amount of training and users also need proper guidance to handle their day-to-day work effectively.

Awkward sprint workflow

Pros

The sprint-based layout, customizable form fields and the whole story point approach are all great parts of the system.

Cons

Where it falls short is in the day-to-day workflow. Every story has to be created from scratch or cloned and having a story card library would make that process much better. Projects with several steps also need to be split into linked stories or sub-tasks which again have to be manually built or copied. Another limitation is that each story can only be assigned to one assignee at a time so the next person in the process often has little or no visibility into work heading their way. Reporting and bulk updates also need improvement, they should be more user-friendly because running reports feels too complicated and making changes across multiple stories takes far too many steps.

better sprint visibility

Pros

I had some doubts at the beginning but it has turned out to be really useful. It helped make our sprints much easier to follow and gave the QA process a more convenient flow.

Cons

Nothing much to say from my side but I think it needs more tutorials.
