easy bug management

Pros

The bug tool is very user friendly and it makes listing and tracking bugs simple for both testers and developers.

Cons

It would be even better if it included a few extra features, such as ticketing tool access for support teams.

deep customization controls

Pros

Across several organizations, this advanced platform has worked well for tracking software projects, product features, bugs and other related information. One thing I've learned is that it often works best when a company adjusts some of its processes to fit the system rather than expecting it to mirror every existing workflow exactly. Even with that, it still offers better-than-average flexibility, along with a wide range of configuration and administrative options.

Cons

That same depth in configuration and administration can also become overwhelming. At times, there are so many options that it's hard to pinpoint the right setting to address a specific issue or request. Although the platform is flexible, it really needs to be implemented in a way that stays manageable for all administrators because even small changes can be hard to spot unless you dig deeply into very detailed settings and screens.

tracking powerhouse

Pros

This software makes it simple to create and manage tasks, stories, defects, spikes and just about anything else you need. When starting a new project, it gives you options like Scrum, Kanban and more which makes it flexible for different workflows. The administration side of the tool is also laid out really well and feels organized.

Cons

Getting everything set up in the beginning can be a little frustrating especially because the tool connects through plugins with other software development tools. Still, once it's configured and running properly, it definitely feels worth it.

helpful work boards

Pros

Using this has made it much easier to follow project progress because the different boards keep everything organized. Assigning tasks and reporting bugs through ticket logging works well and it gives a much clearer view of what is currently in progress versus what is still pending.

Cons

At the same time, it feels more tailored to admins than to regular users so the overall experience is not as user-friendly as it could be. The pricing is also on the expensive side especially since it is not open source and there are occasional issues with inconsistent connection speed.

reliable defect management

Pros

I find it easy to learn and use with minimal training and I appreciate its wide range of features, including support for both defect tracking and sprint management.

Cons

When it comes to defect tracking, this tool really performs well. That said, it feels pretty limited on the sprinting side especially when compared with tools like ScrumWorks. It covers the basics for sprinting but not much beyond that.

workflow flexibility

Pros

Managing work and keeping the workflow organized feels very easy with this. Setting up activities and tasks, assigning them and following their progress is all simple to handle. It's also flexible enough to let you structure things in a way that suits your preferences and feels comfortable to use.

Cons

At the level I've been using it, I really haven't run into any major issues.

great for developers

Pros

Across both development and service, the product has adapted really well to our requirements in a variety of areas.

Cons

Cloud version's performance hasn't been quite as strong lately. It may be tied to added functionality over time so that part could use a bit more attention.

aligned team updates

Pros

One thing that really works well is how it keeps people across different teams aligned on the same information. You can message teammates directly so they actually see the update and if you set yourself as a watcher on a ticket, you'll get notified whenever anyone adds something new.

Cons

Interface isn't exactly the most attractive and there's a bit of a learning curve at first. It feels pretty bare-bones but it still does what it's supposed to do.

feature-rich and easy

Pros

Right from the start, the GUI feels very user-friendly so it's simple to understand and work with. It includes nearly everything needed to manage a company or even a remote team, such as time tracking, reporting and leave management. Another plus is the flexibility to either self-host it or run it on Atlassian Cloud, with pricing that scales based on team size. The audit log is also very helpful because admins can clearly see what changes users have made. On top of that, there are plenty of useful dashboard widgets available, support for multiple user roles and access levels and the option to configure notifications for users.

Cons

Downside is that when it's self-hosted, it uses a lot of memory.

agile workflow hub

Pros

Our team uses it for agile development and it has been a really satisfying tool overall. The agile board works well, task management is reliable and the integration with other products like Confluence is especially useful. I'd say it's one of the strongest options available for managing the full development lifecycle.

Cons

Current user interface still has room for improvement and from time to time there are performance slowdowns.

fast team collaboration

Pros

Each feature and capability comes with user stories attached which makes everything clearer. It's simple to work with and very fast to use during team huddles.

Cons

I've been using it daily in my project for more than five years and honestly haven't run into any real issues. It continues to feel easy and reliable for everyday use.

transparent workflow tracking

Pros

Compared with other issue tracking tools, this one feels much more capable. Its integration with other systems in my company keeps everything flowing really well and the history tracking is a big plus because it makes the whole process very transparent.

Cons

Only part I liked less is that, like many powerful platforms, it can sometimes be a bit unclear or not very simple when you're trying to figure out how to do certain actions.

more flexible overall

Pros

Compared with other software I've used, like Version One, this one feels a lot more flexible and works better for what I need.

Cons

The only downside is that access to that environment is limited to IT users.

helpful team tracking

Pros

Keeping track of projects and issues is very easy and it helps the team address problems as they come up. Tasks can be assigned to a department, a specific person or even shared with the whole team which makes coordination much better.

Cons

It still isn't a practical fit for certain types of development work.

tracking that works

Pros

One of the best parts of using it has been how well it helps organize tasks, team members and project stages or iterations in one place. At a glance, you can tell how far a task has progressed, who is assigned to it and when it's expected to be finished. That visibility has made the whole journey from initial project planning to final launch feel much more manageable and easy.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it took quite a while because it was completely different from anything I had used before. The platform offers a huge amount of functionality and it can even be customized into a tailored version for a company's specific needs but setting all of that up is far from simple. It took me around three months of regular use before I felt like I understood it and even then I knew there were still plenty of features I hadn't even discovered yet.

custom workflow control

Pros

This stands out as a feature-rich platform with a lot of room for customization. Most companies probably won't be able to use it effectively straight out of the box but the ability to build custom projects, screens, fields and workflows makes it very adaptable. Those customization tools are also fairly simple to manage once you get into them. On top of that, most of the interface feels user-friendly and simple, whether you're working as an admin or just using it as an end user. It also helps that there's plenty of online documentation available when you need guidance on specific customizations.

Cons

One frustrating part is that some features you would expect to be included by default are only available through paid add-ons. It's nice that there is an add-on marketplace but a number of those extra features are expensive and come with ongoing subscription costs. Another issue is that the platform really depends on admins sticking to clear procedures and naming conventions when setting up customizations. Without that kind of structure or policy in place, the back end can quickly become disorganized and messy which makes future edits or changes much harder to sort through.

team powerhouse

Pros

Right from the start, this felt like one of the most versatile apps I've worked with. It works as a team communication platform, a project management system and a task manager all in one which makes it incredibly useful. In my opinion, it's one of the best applications I've used and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone trying to get better control over projects and day-to-day tasks.

Cons

Because it does so much, it comes packed with a huge number of features. That can make the initial setup a bit challenging and getting comfortable with everything it offers can take some time. Even so, you don't have to use every feature to benefit from its strongest capabilities.

full control setup

Pros

This tool covers everything we need and gives management the flexibility to add or remove fields depending on what's actually useful for their workflow.

Cons

At times, engineers don't really learn how to use it so product owners and scrum masters end up getting stuck updating tickets themselves. That's more of a team adoption issue than a problem with the software itself.

smooth agile transition

Pros

For me it really helps bring a team's project management approach into agile mode and makes the shift feel convenient. Having all the key agile features gathered in one place is a big advantage.

Cons

A downside is that some features are only offered through plugins and those come with an extra cost.
