scrum guidance win

Pros

Getting started with it was very easy and I really appreciate how well it supports teams in following SCRUM practices and guidelines.

Cons

Sometimes it runs quite slowly and filtering issues or bugs can feel a little odd now and then.

Convenient communication

Pros

Communication between users on virtual projects works really well which makes collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

There was definitely a bit of a learning curve and it felt better suited to people who already had a great development background.

project tracking hub

Pros

This really helps project managers keep projects organized, stay on top of what everyone is working on and clearly track the progress being made across the team.

Cons

Because it's such a professional-grade tool, it comes with a wide range of features and options which makes it a better fit for larger teams. Its high level of customization can also make it a bit hard to use without proper training so it's best to have someone experienced in charge of managing it.

reliable daily tracking

Pros

Every day I work with it to create hundreds of tickets and it does a really good job with reporting, tracking my tickets and keeping up with all the updates.

Cons

It did take some time to learn the most effective way to search for a ticket I had created especially realizing I needed to use % before and after the search term.

reporting that helps

Pros

One thing that really stands out is the flexibility in the features. It lets you put reports together fairly quickly which makes the whole process much more efficient.

Cons

The biggest frustration is the formatting especially when it comes to writing stories. That part can be quite challenging to manage.

product management win

Pros

The application is powerful while still being simple to work with. Moving through the different stages of product management, Portfolio, Product, Release, Sprint, Tracking and Review, feels easy and each stage includes an explanatory video that helps a lot.

Cons

One downside with Agile in some organizations is how limited, almost dogmatic, the administration can be. That ends up forcing every team into the same workflow even when it does not match how the work actually happens. There is not much room for teams to adapt the workflow to fit their own system and that can lead to losing important information about team performance and overall business efficiency since the KPIs become less meaningful.

dashboard powerhouse

Pros

Projects can be organized into tasks and then broken down further into subtasks which makes everything much easier to structure. Tasks can be assigned to one person or multiple people and it's simple to keep track of progress. You can also log hours directly on tasks and build dashboards to monitor the overall status of the project.

Cons

At the beginning, it does take a tutorial or a fairly detailed explanation to really understand how everything works since it can feel a little confusing at first.

development tracking standout

Pros

Handling the planning and management of our software development became much simpler with this. It gave us everything we needed to track bugs as they came up and address them quickly.

Cons

One downside is that the system tends to label everything as an "issue" and is built around that approach. That's a bit limiting since a lot of items aren't really issues at all but opportunities for future development.

agile collaboration win

Pros

Keeping track of work and staying on top of tasks is very manageable even in a fast-moving environment. It supports collaboration well and includes everything an agile team needs from a software tool to work efficiently.

Cons

The scrum board feels a little awkward because of the scroll bars when moving through sprints. I'd also love the option to right-click and move a feature to the top of the sprint.

Perfect for stories and epics

Pros

Getting started with it is easy and the overall functionality works well. Setting up Stories and Tasks is simple, creating bugs is quick and using Epics to group different tickets together is especially useful.

Cons

It's missing Kanban functionality and the dashboard can be a bit buggy at times when applying filters.

ticketing and user stories

Pros

After using it for a couple of years, I can say it becomes really useful once you understand how it works. There was a bit of a learning curve at first, at least in my case though I've heard similar mixed feedback from friends and others in different industries. Once you get comfortable with it, it's definitely effective and offers a lot of technical depth for managing tickets, user stories and related work.

Cons

Jumping into it for the first time can feel pretty overwhelming. The layout and navigation were somewhat confusing for me in the beginning and it took a while to figure things out. That said some software just takes a bit of trial and error before everything starts to click.

project customization win

Pros

It comes packed with features and gives us plenty of control to tailor the way we manage our technology projects based on our exact requirements.

Cons

That level of customization can also create problems since projects may be configured incorrectly when users are not fully sure what they are doing. We also have to rely on a separate customer service platform and unfortunately the two systems do not integrate with each other.

team feature powerhouse

Pros

Compared with most workplace tools, this one feels like a category of its own. It's one of the most complete products we use, with a rich, deep and extensive feature set. Teams across the company, from engineering to customer service, rely on it and we rarely run into situations where we need something it doesn't already offer.

Cons

Getting up to speed with it can be really challenging. Technical users usually learn it fairly quickly but non-technical teams almost always struggle to navigate it and use it effectively in their daily work. Because of that, there's a constant bit of background friction in our workflows from people either not using it fully or underusing it.

sprint tracking pro

Pros

The sprint board gives a clear picture of how the current sprint is moving, including which issues are assigned to each person and the progress on them. The workflow can be tailored to match the project stages and team size, then applied accordingly. Moving tickets between projects works without hassle. JQL is really useful because it lets anyone filter issues exactly the way they need, whether by assignee, project, label or other criteria. Issue linking also helps a lot with tracking related work especially when one ticket is blocked by another. On top of that, support for custom fields adds even more flexibility.

Cons

Pricing is on the higher side compared to some other tools although that is partly justified by the range of features so it is not a major downside.

fits our workflow

Pros

This tool pretty much lets us run the whole business from one place. The Slack integration works really well and the level of customization means we can tailor it to handle exactly what we need.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at first and it is not the most simple when you first get started but once you spend some time with it, it becomes much easier to use.

top issue tracker

Pros

This is one of the best tools for tracking bugs and incidents. It's fairly simple to use, offers plenty of advanced features and connects well with other tools such as GIT. It has also become a standard platform that many software engineers rely on.

Cons

At times, it doesn't work properly across every browser. The ticket workflow can also be a bit difficult to follow now and then.
