Jira Performance Review

Pros

Jira is an excellent product management tool for our team with its wide range of features like project tracking, bug tracking, task management, time estimation for each resource and Sprint and Scrum management.

Cons

As a software tester, I have not found any cons as all the features are great.

Excellent Jira Workflow

Pros

With Jira, I can easily work on multiple projects with tasks assigned to everyone and the board keeps me aware of my progress at all times.

Cons

Great platform for work productivity

Pros

Our business runs on JIRA smoothly

Pros

No work gets done in our business without Jira. We have personalized custom projects and workflows to fit our needs across different departments and individuals. It allows us to create structured development processes, track estimates and actual time, manage releases and maintain audit trails, among many other features.

Cons

Finding support can be challenging, though the large community is helpful. Also, the initial setup and modifying existing projects and workflows were both very complex and time-consuming.

Pros

Powerful project management tool, especially suited to agile software

Pros

This tool has been very helpful for our various tasks like tagging, Scrum, Sprint management and documentation. We also love its excellent tools for managing multiple functions and easy customization. As an administrator, I also value the customer support which offers great solutions and the community where I can always find excellent advice.

Cons

It is on the pricier side, but I understand that it is an exceptional tool for medium to large organizations.

Jira is perfect when we are working with different team

Pros

Opening a ticket on Jira is a pretty simple task, and setting assignment parameters is easy too. It is the best solution when I need to request something from a team based outside my country.

Cons

Jira best tracking tool for scrum

Pros

I use it for planning dashboards, burn down charts, velocity charts and backlog tracking. Hands-down the best tool for us.

Cons

Sometimes its very slow and the churn graph is missing.

Excellent for managing processes and collaborating with remote teams

Pros

It is easy to implement and onboard new employees onto the platform. There are customizable solutions for many needs. I always use it to file and manage tech and legal tickets remotely.

Cons

Notifications occasionally fail to sync in real-time and the filters for searching old processes can be a bit confusing.

Review of Jira

Pros

The community discussions and Q&A are effective for communication between cross-functional teams. The Atlassian Marketplace offers a variety of apps, which greatly benefit us. Jira also makes it simple for us to observe and summarize tasks, and it is adaptable for assigning and commenting. The high-level overview of all stories and related positions is helpful too, and the work-in-progress limits greatly enhance overall productivity. Creating bugs, issues and stories is very easy with this tool and saves a lot of time.

Cons

The ability to have duplicate names for entities can be confusing. It is also somewhat difficult for first-time users and document uploads fail occasionally.

Excellent tool for tracking your workflow

Pros

I love Jira because it is easy to use, customizable and great for managing projects. It integrates with many other tools and helps track progress which makes work simpler for everyone. Every project manager should have Jira.

Cons

Jiras interface can be a bit challenging to understand for beginners. It can be slow at times, and the cost increases quickly with more users. Better tutorials and lower prices would be helpful.

Review of Jira from a team members point of view using it everyday

Pros

Jira assists me with managing, tracking, assigning and identifying roadblocks during a Sprint, which is invaluable for us to keep a record of progress and assessing the team's productivity throughout the project. It also facilitates integration with different applications, such as Bitbucket and ActiveRail.

Cons

There is an initial learning curve that might be difficult for non-technical users.

Pros

Jira provides strong project tracking and agile management features, making it easy for us to monitor progress and collaborate. I have used it at both VOIS and Vezeeta, where the customizable workflows and integrations have been especially beneficial in both settings.

Cons

I'm not really a fan

Pros

Bringing relevant people into a thread is simple and the privacy controls efficiently limit visibility. There seems to be no restriction on the length of conversations, obviously another perk from Jira for our team collaboration.

Cons

It feels a bit basic in terms of functionality, though I might not be using it to its full potential. The interface seems a bit standard and outdated, so a design update would be nice.
