“helpful project insights”
Pros
Keeping track of time on a task is really easy especially with the breakdown by subtasks. The labels feature along with JQL also makes it simple to answer questions like which bugs show up most often and how much time goes into features, admin work and bug fixes.
Cons
Sometimes it runs a bit slower than I'd prefer. Some reports could also be simpler to generate but it's definitely not something that outweighs the benefits.

“feature-rich but awkward”
Pros
It does a good job of showing what's happening at a glance and there are plenty of features that would appeal to enterprise teams.
Cons
The software runs very slowly and feels awkward and it often seems like I spend more time updating it than actually developing software.

“Great tool but messy”
Pros
There's a really great range of features packed into this software.
Cons
As a customer support platform, it feels like the software is trying to integrate with just about everyone. It's definitely powerful and packed with functionality but the organization could be better.

“structured progress tracking”
Pros
The setup is well organized and pushes a company to follow a defined process which makes tracking progress much easier. I also appreciate that it can be installed as a stand-alone solution so using the cloud isn't required.
Cons
There's a bit too much bureaucracy built into it and from what I know, customization is limited unless you have technical skills. Compared with other project management tools, it feels less visual and the interface is not as simple.

“fresh scrum experience”
Pros
The updated UI for projects feels modern and the new Scrum/Kanban workflow is a really welcome improvement.
Cons
There's a pretty big jump in pricing between the 10-user starter plan and the 25-user tier. It also still lacks enough flexibility when it comes to sharing access with customers.

“fewer emails with better teamwork”
Pros
Back before we had this in place, our programming team was getting flooded with endless email threads and important messages would regularly get buried or missed. This has made a big difference by helping us keep track of everything making sure nothing slips through the cracks, reducing the amount of email we send and improving communication between teams quite a bit.
Cons
Sometimes sorting my tickets and moving between projects feels more complicated than it really should be. I can always get where I need to go but the workflow still isn't completely simple. One small but annoying thing is how links behave inside tickets, I really wish they would open in a new window automatically. If a URL isn't hyperlinked properly, clicking it takes you away from the ticket entirely.

“aligned bug tracking”
Pros
It has been really effective for tracking bugs and software anomalies while also acting as a great bridge between developers. The commenting feature is especially useful because it keeps everyone updated and in the loop as changes happen. I'd definitely recommend it to teams that want to stay organized with bug tracking.
Cons
Getting everything set up took a little more time than I expected. The attachments area also limits file types which I understand is for security reasons but having an option to override that would be helpful.

“project management leader”
Pros
When it comes to project management, this really feels like the benchmark. It covers just about everything you could think of for organization and customization. No matter what your team needs to track or how your technical workflow is structured, it has the flexibility to support it.
Cons
Search is the part that gives me trouble. As a product manager, I'll close a ticket assuming it's done for good and then a few months later I suddenly need to dig that exact one back up. Once you've been in the system for a long time and the ticket volume has piled up, finding older items can start to feel pretty overwhelming.

“detailed ticket visibility”
Pros
When creating tickets in this tool, I can include complete information about the issue which helps a lot. The interface is also very user-friendly so working with it feels easy.
Cons
The only downside is that when I'm tracking multiple issues in it at the same time, it can sometimes become a little difficult to keep up with the follow-up.

“task tracking powerhouse”
Pros
Keeping projects organized and monitoring progress works really well with this software. There are plenty of tools and features which can feel a little overwhelming at first but once you learn how everything works, it becomes very practical and efficient. I mostly use it for filing tickets and assigning tasks to other team members and the experience has been very positive overall. The ability to create master tasks and link subtasks underneath them is especially useful. I also appreciate the option to build custom checklists and review stages since it helps the team stay organized, follow the workflow properly and avoid getting lost in the process.
Cons
It can become a bit tough when too many people are working on, commenting on and editing the same task or ticket. In those cases, comments sometimes get buried in the discussion especially when a lot of team members are involved. The interface can also be somewhat confusing, with many bars, columns and sections that are not always easy to recognize at first glance which makes the software feel intimidating and complex initially.

“agile toolkit”
Pros
Across different kinds of teams, this feels like an ideal solution for organizing and monitoring work, whether the job is software development, service support, construction or something else entirely. It offers a wide range of project types, Scrum and Kanban boards and plenty of Agile reporting options such as sprint reports, burndown charts, burnup charts, cumulative flow diagrams and version reports. Another big advantage is the flexibility, you can start from a template or build your own workflow with custom milestones and rules. Overall, it's a feature-rich product that is flexible enough to fit the needs of most teams and customers.
Cons
Honestly, as someone who really enjoys working with IT tools, I have very few complaints, if any at all. I consider it one of the strongest products available for project management and teamwork management. The only area that feels a bit more complicated is working with the reports but I wouldn't really call that a true downside. It seems more related to the fact that I just haven't spent enough time with that part of the product yet.

“poor search experience”
Pros
From a big-picture standpoint, it does help to view action items at a higher level and it lets you track them and update their status as things change.
Cons
Actually trying to use it can be frustrating. The search function is unbelievably bad and makes the whole experience harder than it should be.

“reliable bug management”
Pros
It does a great job as a bug tracking database which is what I mainly use it for. Getting a new project configured takes a bit of effort upfront but once that part is done, working in the bug database is pretty pleasant.
Cons
Starting a new project can be frustrating because the software keeps pushing me toward a setup that's different from the way I've configured all my other projects. If I regularly use the same bug report template, it shouldn't act like I want a completely different workflow every time I create a new one. Another thing that feels off is bug resolution, when I close out a bug, the "assign to" field should automatically move back to the tester who originally logged it.

“agile teamwork success”
Pros
Built with collaboration in mind, this tool makes it quick to set up a board and get a project moving right away. It's highly customizable and the whole experience feels agile-focused from end to end.
Cons
It would still be helpful to see stronger support for waterfall workflows, along with a Gantt view. The reporting interface could also use some improvement on the UX side.

“popular and customizable”
Pros
One of the biggest strengths is the powerful plugin system which lets you customize just about every part of the platform. It's also probably the most widely used project management tool out there so a lot of people already know their way around it and can start using it without any training.
Cons
The base version on its own feels fairly limited in terms of functionality. In reality, the plugins that add the most value are paid so the overall cost can end up being higher than expected.

“task tracking done right”
Pros
Nothing has worked better for project assignment and tracking than this. At our company, there was a clear before-and-after once we started using it and it's hard to imagine going back now. We don't have to dig through emails or long message threads anymore just to figure out deadlines or the current status of deliverables. Everything is visible and easy to follow. Ownership is clearly assigned, timelines are taken into account and team capacity is actually managed. It fits into just about any team project setup without much trouble.
Cons
At the beginning, the sheer number of options can feel a bit overwhelming so some training is definitely recommended. The features are extremely useful but understanding how to navigate them and make the most of the dashboards would really help improve productivity.
