reliable over time

Pros

Having used it for several years, I've been able to see how much it has developed over time. It's a great platform to work with and remains very user-friendly.

Cons

Up to this point, I honestly haven't come across any real downsides with the software.

clean and simple

Pros

Interface feels polished and the overall user experience is very clear so it doesn't take much effort to understand how everything works. Keeping track of tickets is also easy and convenient.

Cons

At this point, there really isn't anything I dislike about the software.

better agile teamwork

Pros

This works especially well for agile teams that need to plan and monitor a new product release in a structured way. The Scrum boards help keep everyone centered on project priorities and make it easier to deliver within the assigned plan. It also improves communication and supports better collaboration across co-workers. Another plus is the reporting which gives accurate insights into team performance, individual capabilities and project progress. On top of that, the workflows can be customized to fit the way our business operates.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve so it is not very user-friendly until you understand how the system works. At times, the workflows are also hard to follow and designing them is not always easy.

team collaboration hub

Pros

Having support software development and project management all in one system has been a big advantage for us. It's a very powerful, stable, enterprise-level platform and the wide range of plugins adds a lot of value. We use tools like Service Desk for SLA management, Tempo for timesheets and BigPicture for waterfall project planning which really extends what the software can handle.

Cons

It can feel a little complex in certain situations especially when compared with simpler tools like Asana or Trello. The per-user pricing is also quite high which makes it difficult to roll it out across the entire company.

polished and feature-rich

Pros

Honestly, there's a lot to appreciate here. It's easy to use, packed with a rich set of features, backed by a large community, updated often and the UX feels excellent overall, along with plenty of other things done really well.

Cons

The on-premise version doesn't include a mobile app and it also misses the modern UI and templates.

Convenient integrations

Pros

Compared with the tracking system we used at my previous job, this one fits our workflow much better and feels far more connected. Creating an issue, opening a Git branch, checking build results and seeing peer review status can all be handled right from the story which keeps everything in one place. That setup has made my day-to-day workflow much easier to stay on top of.

Cons

One limitation in our version is that a story can only be assigned to a single person. Having the option to add multiple assignees to a task would be a nice improvement.

live reporting insights

Pros

Right from the start, it feels very user friendly. It shows the current status of ongoing tasks and user stories in the project, lets teams track the effort spent by developers and gives a clear view of planned timelines on the spot. Because of that, stakeholders can check reports online instantly and use them to plan upcoming deliverables more effectively.

Cons

One issue I noticed is that it treats every task as an 'issue,' which isn't really accurate.

scrum visibility win

Pros

There's a huge range of functionality in this software and our team still hasn't managed to explore everything it offers because there are just so many features available. The scrum board is one of the highlights for us since it brings all tasks into one place, lets us set priorities clearly and makes assigning work to the right person very convenient. It also connects really well with other products like Bitbucket and Confluence and those integrations work easily.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it definitely takes time. Because the platform includes so many features, it's not very simple at first and it can be unclear what certain tools are actually meant to do. Other than that learning curve, it's still a very great piece of software.

growing project fit

Pros

We recently moved over from Basecamp because our team has expanded and our projects have become larger and more complex. It covers nearly everything we were looking for and handling project management now feels much more aligned and manageable.

Cons

First impression can be a bit overwhelming although that feeling fades pretty quickly once you spend some time with it. One thing that bothers me is that I can't keep my task list sorted by Due Date or Status permanently. Every time the page refreshes, I have to set it up again. I'd also really like an option to view only the issues for today or this week. Seeing a list of 60+ issues all at once is a bit intimidating especially when a lot of them aren't due until months later.

affordable flexibility

Pros

One thing that really works well is how much you can tailor the workflows and automate a lot of project management tasks especially reporting. The pricing is also very competitive which makes it a strong value overall.

Cons

The downside is that it is not very visual or especially customizable for end users so there is definitely a learning curve. The workflows and instances also need to be configured very carefully from the beginning, otherwise managing it can become more trouble than it is worth.

daily planning dashboard

Pros

The dashboard has been really helpful in my day-to-day work. It makes staying organized much simpler and I'm able to plan out my workday a lot better because of it.

Cons

One thing that's been a bit overwhelming is the number of notification emails. I'm not sure whether there's a setting to control which events trigger them but right now it seems like every single event sends a separate email.

cross-team handoff leader

Pros

Keeping projects visible across multiple teams and transferring ownership from one group to another works exceptionally well here. That's where this tool really shines. I also appreciate that customization isn't unlimited at the individual project level because it helps enforce a shared operating structure and keeps team projects more consistent.

Cons

Getting new people up to speed can take a while so the learning curve is fairly steep and adoption can be difficult at first.

Great open-source choice

Pros

Being open source makes this a really strong ticketing option for startups that need incident management without stretching a limited budget. It's easy to use, the knowledge base on their website and across the internet is helpful since the tool is widely adopted and the UI and web pages feel basic and responsive.

Cons

I haven't run into any real downsides. For an open-source tool, it's a very great choice and one I'd definitely recommend.

advanced filtering tools

Pros

There's a lot you can tailor here and it handles a wide range of needs really well. It runs fast, offers plenty of useful functionality and helps cut down on manual work. The batch update feature is especially handy since you can change just about anything related to issues and the filtering options are excellent.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it takes time because the layout and option placement aren't very simple. Even after using it for quite a while, I still sometimes get lost trying to figure out what I'm looking at. That said, once it clicks, it can be very effective, you just have to memorize where all the oddly placed features live.

reliable workflow tracking

Pros

Out of the project management tools I've used, this has been the most dependable one. It's highly customizable and lets you set up different workflow approaches for each project. Bug and task tracking are handled in a easy way so getting started is simple but there's also a lot underneath to learn that can really improve how efficiently you manage projects and organize your work.

Cons

New users would benefit from proper training to use the application effectively. While the basics are fairly simple to pick up, becoming truly proficient with it can take time. Also, if a mistake is made, undoing or rolling back an unwanted change can sometimes be difficult and cause issues.

tracking boost

Pros

It's turned into an invaluable part of our toolkit. We rely on it to keep tabs on multiple projects across the business.

Cons

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve at first when getting used to the product. The new UI is a big step up in my opinion and once you're comfortable navigating it, managing projects becomes much more aligned.

clean project interface

Pros

The interface looks really good and it makes following project progress pretty easy.

Cons

There are a lot of other tools out there that handle things a bit differently and some of that really comes down to personal preference. In some cases, those differences also feel more efficient. Personally, I still prefer Trello because it's simpler.

affordable boards

Pros

Project management keeps getting improved and overall it handles the job really well. Planning and following up on work through boards is easy and works effectively. It also comes with plenty of useful extras especially the way it connects with all kinds of other software. On top of that, the pricing is very budget-friendly.

Cons

It can feel a little overwhelming and it usually takes watching a few tutorial videos before everything makes sense and you can use it properly.
