“Mavenlink was a step-up from spreadsheet based time tracking
Pros
The Google Chrome extension has proven to be excellent allowing for the addition of time entries without the need to keep a web browser open to Mavenlink's site.
Cons
The project setup allows for only one level of child tasks limiting the versatility of project management. The inclusion of multiple sub-children tasks would enhance flexibility.

“Mavenlink Review
Pros
Mavenlink serves as an excellent hub for files conversations and time tracking within a unified interface. Collaborating with team members is enjoyable accompanied by easy reference to relevant files and attachments.
Cons
Mavenlink lacks a calendar view which could benefit those who prefer visual representations. Confusion arises from hours allocated to a project reflecting anyone assigned to the task not just the individual assigning them.

“Solid tool for integrated project management
Pros
Mavenlink's all-in-one nature stands out as the best feature consolidating time tracking financial reporting and task assignment/management in a single efficient place.

The platform took some getting used to. While project managers found it fairly intuitive colleagues in Creative and Development had a hard time adjusting.

Pros
Mavenlink impresses as a solid project management program with extensive features and customization ideal for teams organizing minute details. The interface is one of the least cluttered and more intuitive ones encountered fostering client collaboration and transparency.

“Mavenlink is good for time management and internet task assignment
Pros
Mavenlink's capability to assign time entries to individual project tasks and assign tasks to team members with status updates and completion progress stands out.
Cons
Mavenlink only allows one level of sub-tasks to be created under parent tasks. If there was the ability to create further child task levels it would be more useful.

“Invaluable SW for professional services businesses
Pros
Enabling us to simplify time tracking resource planning and project accounting processes Mavenlink integrates them into one common system of record requiring minimal customization.
Cons
Overall we are very happy with Mavenlink. We would like a higher character limit for text in some notes fields and more Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams integration capabilities.

“Learning Curve Overall Very Efficient
Pros
After switching to Mavenlink over a year ago our company worked closely with Operations to incorporate new processes during a merge and rebrand. Mavenlink offered more features visuals and an overall better experience than the previous project tracking tool.
Cons
Although Mavenlink offers more features there is definitely a learning curve to using it. It did take some time to find places to input hours or track projects and our company still works closely with the Mavenlink team to discover new functionality and learn how to effectively use the software. However overall we would definitely recommend this for any marketing agency.

“Mavenlink Effective Tool for Business
Pros
Effective for managers to monitor project status and provide information about full projects.
Cons
I do not feel it was used as much as it could have been. My company was not really monitoring use and it was usually used for large projects. I think a lot was skipped over when projects had to close as various employees thought it was hard and a waste to use.

“Time tracking feature is good. Project Management and Invoicing features are useless
Pros
The mobile website and Chrome extension enable field technicians to track time and travel expenses immediately after leaving a site saving time on tracking entries.
Cons
Mavenlink did not integrate with our version of Quickbooks which led to us having to double the effort on the accounting side.

“A steep learning curve
Pros
Mavenlink serves as a comprehensive tool for tracking multiple projects across various areas providing clear budget burn visibility. It facilitates easy communication time tracking timeline development task breakdowns and is suitable for highly organized individuals.
Cons
It creates a lot of work for project managers. A lot goes into designing a project and filling it out which is very time-consuming. There is also a steep learning curve especially if you are adapting to Mavenlink after being used to different systems. The training was somewhat helpful but long boring and repetitive. While it does keep everything in one place it is difficult to adapt to using it where you would have used email Skype messenger Google Docs etc. especially if you're working with colleagues who are not so technologically savvy.

“Mavenlink helps teams connect
Pros
Connecting with others working on the same project and sharing material is made easy using Mavenlink especially when collaborating with clients.
Cons
I found Mavenlink a little confusing to work with. I don't want to have to spend a lot of time learning how a platform works especially if I'm not using it on a regular basis.
