“Great for timesheets and project management
Pros
Used for two years for timesheets and project management Mavenlink excels in time input managing project due dates and milestones storing calendars and handling PDFs for storyboards and image sharing.
Cons
It could be a little cleaner interface for navigating to different categories. But it was mostly pretty user-friendly for my needs.

“The Ultimate Services & Operations Management Software
Pros
Integrations and API options including an excellent Salesforce bridge customizable connectors GoodData reporting and versatile task management contribute to Mavenlink's comprehensive capabilities for project management.
Cons
I believe the biggest flaw in Mavenlink is the absence of a "real" administrator. Essentially you can be an admin but if a project is set to "Invitation only" you cannot join it unless someone invites you. So being a Mavenlink admin is not like being a Jira admin where you can do anything you want; you are more of an "open projects administrator." The workaround is to have an integration user creating the projects and a good integration with your CRM that allows you to update fields that would be otherwise not accessible. Mind that you can still remove the integration user from the project and at that point the only way to re-enter the project is to ask the project lead to invite you. This should clear any security concerns if your projects require extreme privacy.

While the software initially appears robust effective integration with other channels such as CRM requires additional connectors and Mavenlink charges for this service as expected.

“Not my favorite project management software
Pros
Serving as project management software Mavenlink facilitates task creation time tracking and attachment of essential information. However some users note it feels somewhat basic and lacks the friendly interface found in other project management software.
Cons
Among alternatives like Trello and AirTable Mavenlink is the least favorite due to being less user-friendly more challenging to track projects from start to finish and featuring a convoluted and unattractive interface.

“Highly Customized Project Management Tool Which is Also Fairly Priced
Pros
Recognized as a self-contained powerhouse for project management Mavenlink excels in budget management for complex cross-functional products/programs. Integration with SalesForce and other CRM tools facilitates forecasting and planning.
Cons
Task readability can be hindered by too many attached members leading to overlapping names and data. The suggestion is to allow hiding or consolidating information on tasks for improved readability.

“Not my favorite project management software
Pros
Acting as a hub for projects Mavenlink is noted for keeping assignments assets and time management in one place. However finding documents can be tricky.
Cons
Non-project managers find Mavenlink more confusing with a less-than-great user experience and challenges in locating documents within the deep database. The software design is described as stale and unappealing.
