Good tool for Internal improvements

Pros

The exceptional customer support and user-friendly resource planning have significantly benefited our company. Mavenlink's support team is responsive and receptive to feedback, making it a valuable partner.

Cons

Overall, everything is fine. However, we extensively use custom fields on almost all tasks we create. Unfortunately, templates don't save custom fields, so we have to add them each time we apply a template. This could be improved.

I'm a Director of PM for our agency and we've been using Mavenlink for about 2 and a half years now.

Pros

Mavenlink offers a comprehensive project management package, including data collection and representation, communication features, and scalability.

Cons

Speed, usability, visual appeal, and role management are areas of concern.

Mavenlink application is a solid project management platform.

Pros

Mavenlink is a comprehensive project management tool with stable performance and an open API. Centralizing information in one place and utilizing the easy-to-use time tracking tool are significant advantages.

Cons

It's quite expensive for small businesses. There's also a lack of chat app or other bonus communication tools, and a need for a mobile app.

It's capability to track all of our expense for projects, and the functionality is great

Pros

The Analytics and Insights tabs provide valuable insights into utilization and budget tracking. The intuitive UI design simplifies time tracking and task sharing within the team.

Cons

It lacks bidirectionality compared to other platforms. The invoicing tool isn't robust enough, and user permissions could be improved. Managing timelines with resources is challenging due to constant project changes. It's easier to manually adjust as things change.

Has potential but not quite there

Pros

Mavenlink's ability to track project expenses and facilitate communication is noteworthy.

Cons

It feels somewhat outdated and isn't as visually appealing as we would like. Additionally, reaching tech support during issues is quite difficult.

Well designed and allows you to get as granular as you want.

Pros

Mavenlink's flexibility allows for granular project or task management, integrating seamlessly with Quickbooks. It accommodates a high volume of projects smoothly and efficiently.

Cons

So far, there's no way to create a recurring scheduled task in a project. The UI is text-heavy, making it challenging to find something quickly if you don't already know where to look. The potential for granular tracking seems overwhelming until users get comfortable with it.

The basics are there, but too many features fall flat.

Pros

It's capable of managing projects, estimates, budgets, and overall progress tracking effectively. It provides a comprehensive overview of all projects.

Cons

Many features feel unfinished. Invoicing, estimates, and user permissions are convoluted and insufficient for our company's needs. Resource Management necessitates duplicate data entry between planned and scheduled time, requiring smoother integration to plan around exceptions.

One of the weaker project management tools out there. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Pros

The UI is generally straightforward. While it's easy to view projects, the organization tools lack strength.

Cons

The software's speed leaves much to be desired. Updates progress sluggishly, and collaboration with Mavenlink's development team revealed their slow process. The program feels sluggish and weighed down, lacking sub-tasks beyond five layers. Additionally, the estimating feature is rudimentary, and the recent introduction of a basic WYSIWYG in the activity section is overdue. Undoing activity requires navigating back to the feed. For genuine insights, consult project managers who actively use this product!

Excellent, easy-to-use software!

Pros

The intuitive interface and responsiveness of the engineering team to customer feedback make Mavenlink a standout choice.

Cons

I wish there was an effective date for cost rates. It would greatly help in calculating margins on projects.

I find Mavenlink to be intuitive and rich in interesting features!

Pros

The ability to create project templates and task groupings, along with flexible data export to Excel, is appreciated.

Cons

The automatic update in Gantt view, shifting dates when creating task dependencies, is frustratingly intrusive.

been using for 4-5 weeks, and there are serious gaps in the capabilities of the product.

Pros

The ability to create sub-data within projects/tasks is a useful feature.

Cons

Significant gaps exist in the product. Notably, MavenLink lacks support for multi-tiered timesheet approval processes, essential for enterprise-level accounts. This critical feature is absent, making it less valuable for larger organizations.
