powerful collaborative workflow hub

Pros

monday.com goes beyond basic project management and also includes collaborative work management tools that help keep business processes organized and efficient.

Cons

Since bringing monday.com into our workflow, I haven't run into any bug that stayed unresolved for more than 24 hours.

organized teamwork that delivers

Pros

Monday.com does a really good job of keeping everything organized and making it easier to stay on top of tasks and projects so work gets done efficiently. It's a strong platform for companies because it helps teams collaborate, stay organized and keep track of everything in one place.

Cons

At times, the boards can start to feel a little overwhelming especially when assignments pile up and everything looks overcrowded. It would be helpful to have more structure, more templates or additional board layout options to make things easier to manage.

powerful automation for projects

Pros

Our project management team gets a lot of value out of the many features available and the automation tools have been especially useful.

Cons

Getting it rolled out internally took some time because there was definitely a bit of a learning curve. We customized our workspaces to match how our organization operates so it felt somewhat different from the standard templates. After setting up a few of them though, the process became much easier to handle.

simple tracking that delivers

Pros

Keeping projects and teams on track feels very simple with this simple tool. It does a really good job of helping everyone stay aligned on timelines and meet deadlines across all projects.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the support around setup and implementation. I felt the overall onboarding process would have been stronger with more guidance from their team.

task tracking that clicks

Pros

Compared with the Excel-based project plans we used before, this feels much more simple. Assigning tasks, moving them around, adding labels and marking them complete all work really well and it's genuinely satisfying to use.

Cons

Pricing can get pretty restrictive once you need to bring on more users which is especially tough for a non-profit. On top of that, customer support hasn't been very good and can be quite frustrating to deal with.

bugs, outages and useless support

Pros

At first glance, it includes the features we were hoping to get but with the nonstop bugs, frequent errors and recurring outages, that ends up not mattering at all.

Cons

Dealing with customer support has been unbelievably frustrating. The representatives seem like they're making an effort but the response times are absurd, escalations go nowhere and nobody appears to have the ability to resolve the outrageous number of issues that come up while using or setting up this badly built system.

clear dashboards and helpful support

Pros

Keeping track of my daily project tasks and schedules has been much better with this software. The interface is very user-friendly so getting started and organizing everything felt simple. I was able to set up my daily goals and manage my time in a way that really helped me stay on track. Customer support has also been very helpful whenever I had questions or needed clarification. It makes planning commitments on my calendar more effective and accurate. Overall it comes with excellent ready-to-use features that help streamline work and save time. The dashboard is clear and highly visual, giving useful insight into project progress and it's definitely a tool worth considering for improving work performance.

Cons

One limitation I've noticed is that some additional features are available on the desktop version but not on the mobile app which can restrict workflow and reduce performance when working on the go.

powerful workflows and clear visibility

Pros

Managing projects with Monday.com has been a really positive experience. The interface looks polished and simple which helps a lot when keeping track of tasks and getting a clear view of what's happening across projects. Being able to build custom workflows around specific business needs has also made our processes more efficient.

Cons

There's still room for improvement with the mobile app since it doesn't feel as capable or consistent as the desktop version. The monthly pricing is also on the higher side and bigger boards can start to feel a bit slower at times.

simple workflow visibility

Pros

The user experience is very simple so getting around the platform and using it doesn't take much effort. It does a really good job of capturing important information and displaying it in a clear, simple way that's easy to understand.

Cons

There are a lot of different functions available and at times it can feel a bit overwhelming moving between them. I also wish there were more training videos to help users learn the platform better.

Pros

Using this platform has been really positive because it's very user friendly and it lets you keep everything for your employees organized in one place.

Cons

I really don't have any major complaints about monday.com though if there's one area that could be better, it would be adding more integrations.

visual boards that keep teams aligned

Pros

Right away, monday.com felt very visual and simple to work with. The boards make project organization simple and I can check progress and updates quickly without having to dig through endless emails. It's also flexible enough to adapt to different workflows which helps collaboration feel much more smooth.

Cons

At times, it can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many features packed into it and it takes some time to figure out the setup that works best. A few parts also come across as slightly buggy until you spend time customizing them.

stylish workflows, steep learning curve

Pros

Monday.com does a really nice job of organizing and documenting workflows and different work streams. The interface can look quite polished and the templates are a nice touch.

Cons

At the same time, Monday.com isn't very user friendly. Even basic users need training to get comfortable with it and the people creating and assigning templates need quite a bit of training before they can really use it properly.

live notifications for complex projects

Pros

One thing that really stood out to me about monday.com was the live, instant notifications. It also split tasks into clear segments which made it especially useful for handling more complex work and larger projects.

Cons

The hardest part for me with monday.com was getting started. At first, I was pretty confused by the navigation and had trouble figuring out how to move around the app.

Pros

Everything works well together overall and the integrations feel well connected. Getting started was fairly simple and the learning curve is manageable.

Cons

clear timelines and smart filters

Pros

Sharing project timelines and resource allocation details is really simple and the advanced filters make it simple to pull up the exact information I need.

Cons

Things can get a bit difficult to manage when the number of resources becomes large and copying rows and updating them is a little tricky.

powerful but overly complex

Pros

Monday.com can handle a wide range of tasks for teams that have the time to really learn how to use it properly. It's clearly a very capable platform and I'm impressed by the people who know how to fully optimize everything it offers.

Cons

At the same time, it feels too complicated to learn because it tries to do so much. I don't have the time or interest to dig into something this complex just to get it working well for what I actually need.

powerful workflows and visibility

Pros

From building complex CRM setups to project trackers and onboarding workflows, this platform can be shaped around almost any business process. The mix of automations, dashboards and connected boards gives teams real end-to-end visibility across their work. The interface also feels very simple for new users which helps a lot with adoption in the companies I work with.

Cons

Creating more advanced logic does come with a learning curve especially without any formal training. Permissions could also be more detailed for Enterprise teams that need to manage access across multiple departments.

flexible boards and smart automations

Pros

Having lots of boards to work with is a big plus and the automations on each one are really useful for things like scheduling, duplicating items between boards and assigning work. It has helped our small organization simplify how we operate and improve productive collaboration between teams.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is not being able to edit columns separately across groups within the same board. For instance some groups on a board do not need a deadline, while others do and that makes the setup feel less clean, less visually appealing and not as organized as it could be. I also wish the time-tracking widgets and graphs were arranged better so it is easier to understand where people are spending most of their time.

helpful platform, weak support

Pros

The platform feels very flexible and simple to navigate. Whether someone has used plenty of CRM tools before or is completely new to them, it works well as a dependable option for project management, client communication and even certain HR tasks.

Cons

Customer support resources are really lacking. Like a lot of CRM platforms, you're almost pushed toward hiring an outside database manager to make the transition easier, build out your business processes and get everything set up properly which is understandable. Still, once onboarding is over and regardless of whether you paid for outside help, you're mostly left to teach yourself the tools, features and workflows. There are lots of online guides and videos available, including free ones made by third-party users but at the end of the day you're still figuring much of it out alone. For people who are very technical, that may not be a big problem and smaller teams with a strong IT lead or highly skilled office manager may not mind it as much. Even so, you really need a dedicated person who can research modules, test new workflows and roll out company-wide processes so the team can fully use monday.com the way it's meant to be used.

construction workflow powerhouse

Pros

Monday.com has done an excellent job of bringing every stage of our construction projects together in one place, from pre-construction planning all the way through closeout. In a construction business, keeping track of multiple jobsites, subcontractors, material deliveries, client communication and budgets can get overwhelming fast. It's become our go-to hub for managing all of those moving pieces in a way that feels efficient organized and visual.

Cons

One difficulty we've run into is getting new team members up to speed especially field staff who aren't as comfortable with technology. The platform's flexibility is a real advantage but without solid training, new users can end up feeling confused or overwhelmed when they're trying to work through custom boards, automations and status updates.
