flexible boards and accessible data

Pros

Accessing the data is simple and managing it is even more convenient. It's really helpful that each board can function as its own separate data space.

Cons

One downside is that boards can take quite a while to load when they contain a large amount of stored data. I do wish they opened faster since there are times when I need to get to the information immediately.

clean interface and helpful support

Pros

The training resources have been excellent and the live support team is really helpful whenever needed. The system itself is simple to use and the interface feels clean, modern and refreshing.

Cons

A few features could use more depth especially when it comes to connecting columns together. Expanding that functionality would make it possible to do even more within my boards.

custom boards and clear tracking

Pros

Monday.com really stands out for its highly customizable interface and visual project tracking. It helps teams work together efficiently, automate workflows and adjust boards to match specific needs which makes project management feel simple and flexible at the same time. The color-coded layout and simple drag-and-drop tools also make complicated workflows much easier to organize and follow.

Cons

A few features can feel a bit too complex in the beginning and getting everything set up takes time for new users. It's also a little too easy to accidentally change a task's status.

flexible tracking and customization

Pros

Keeping tabs on progress is really convenient and I appreciate being able to customize the way data gets entered. The free version also gives a solid amount of functionality which makes it even more worthwhile.

Cons

For some reason though, entering data in Excel still feels less tiring and more natural than using Monday for the kind of work I use it for.

clear task assignment and visibility

Pros

Keeping track of assigned work is very simple and I can quickly see exactly what I'm supposed to be working on. The posts also make it simple to spell out what needs to be done.

Cons

Navigation can feel a bit confusing at times. There are several screens that seem to serve similar purposes and posts can get tricky to manage when sub-items are involved.

user-friendly and forgiving

Pros

Working in Monday.com feels very simple and getting around the platform doesn't take much effort. It's also reassuring that you can't really break anything or permanently delete something by accident.

Cons

At times, locating certain things can be frustrating. I wish there were clearer "cheat titles" or better labels to make items easier to find and I'd also prefer if whatever you're working on stayed visible.

team organization that clicks

Pros

Keeping the team organized with this has been pretty simple and getting the hang of it didn't take much time at all.

Cons

At times it still feels a bit complicated. Some of our boards carry a ton of information so I sometimes have to dig around to find what I need.

fantastic task assignment and tagging

Pros

The way everything stays organized is really helpful and being able to tag people makes collaboration much better. I also really appreciate that you can assign tasks directly to someone.

Cons

The calendar feature is the part that gives me trouble. It can feel confusing and I wish it were more simple to move around in. It also doesn't seem like the strongest option for social media planning.

powerful features and reporting

Pros

monday comes with an incredible set of features and I feel like I'm always discovering something new to use. It has made reporting much simpler and a lot more manageable.

Cons

At times, it can feel a bit overwhelming because there's so much you can do with it. That said monday.com academy really helps make the learning curve easier to handle.

flexible trackers for teamwork

Pros

Building custom project and issue trackers in Monday.com is really simple and it does a good job of keeping the whole team updated on current progress and the overall timeline.

Cons

One downside was the training videos didn't have narration audio so I couldn't get as much out of them when trying to learn the platform's features and capabilities.

polished UI for team planning

Pros

Right away, Monday.com feels very user-friendly, with a fluid interface and a really well-designed UI/UX. The color scheme is appealing and the whole platform clearly seems built for professionals managing work across larger teams.

Cons

At the beginning, navigation can be a bit tricky and not entirely simple. A short guided walkthrough would probably help new users get comfortable with the platform faster.

custom workflows and clear visuals

Pros

Customizing things in Monday.com is simple and the interface is pretty self-explanatory. The different colors for each status option also make everything easier to follow at a glance.

Cons

At times, there's just a lot happening on the screen. When you're managing many projects, the interface can start to feel cluttered and a bit overwhelming to move through.

team tracking that delivers

Pros

Keeping up with daily to-dos is much more organized and it works really well for communicating with my team on projects especially when assigning tasks. It's also been very helpful for tracking and managing upcoming client celebrations and wins.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is the copy-and-paste function. It keeps inserting the word "copy," so I have to go back and remove it manually every single time.

versatile project views

Pros

It's the most complete task-tracking tool I've come across. There are plenty of view options so you can follow and manage your project in whatever way works best for you.

Cons

If you're new to task-tracking software or you've only worked with Kanban boards before, monday.com can feel a bit complicated to figure out at first.

custom workflows that deliver

Pros

Monday.com has been an excellent project management platform for enterprise teams. The option to build custom workflows, along with tailored forms and automations, makes setting up project tracking quick and practical so work can begin right away. It also does a really good job of helping teams collaborate and stay organized throughout the process.

Cons

One thing I still haven't been able to sort out in the Kanban view is how to display a deadline on each item. I'd really like to see that improved so due dates are visible at a glance.

update tracking is fantastic

Pros

Using Monday.com has been a really positive experience. It's very user-friendly and the update tracking feature is especially helpful. Being able to revisit an update and edit it later is also a big plus.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the name search. Right now, you have to type the full name instead of just a few letters and if the spelling is off, nothing appears. It would be much more user-friendly if it showed matching names from its database and let you choose from the available options.

versatile planning and time tracking

Pros

Keeping up with projects and the team is one of the best parts of using it. I can map out my social media content organize my tasks into clear sections and also track the time I spend on each activity which helps a lot.

Cons

It can feel a bit cluttered at times and I'd rather have a cleaner workspace with more options to personalize my workstation. The overall layout could definitely use some improvement.

Pros

Keeping everything organized has been one of the best parts of using Monday.com. I can set up separate folders for different accounts or types of work which makes it simple to know where everything is and stay on top of tasks.

flexible web-based project tracking

Pros

Having it online instead of relying on Excel is a big plus for me. The forms are really useful and being able to switch between different views is a feature I appreciate a lot.

Cons

My biggest issue is that I have to use it rather than choosing it myself. I'm a geologist working with a small team in America for an Australian company and since I'm often out of internet range in the field, offline access would make it much more practical for my work.
