“Boards tracked everything we did”
Pros
Using different boards to organize work in progress has been really enjoyable and being able to view everything across all the boards is a big plus.
Cons
At times the progress bar can be a little confusing and filtering isn't always as clear as it should be.

“Templates matched our every need”
Pros
Being able to build templates that match the way you manage projects is a big plus. It gives you the flexibility to set up workflows in a way that fits your team and your project management style.
Cons
Keeping it updated and actively using it can take a lot of time. It requires quite a few hours to stay on top of everything and make sure the project management side continues to be useful.

“team tracking felt perfect”
Pros
There are plenty of features built into this software which makes it really useful for managing work. Assigning tasks and keeping an eye on progress is simple so everyone on the team knows exactly what they need to do and the deadline they're working toward.
Cons
The downside is that the learning curve felt a bit steep for some people on my team.

“Projects never missed their dates”
Pros
Monday.com does a really good job of keeping tasks organized especially when you're dealing with more complicated to-do lists. It also makes it simple to check the status of projects that other people on the team are managing which helps everyone stay aligned.
Cons
One area that could be better is how ownership and updates are handled for individual steps within a project. Team notifications around progress could also use some improvement so updates are clearer and more timely.

“Templates cut planning time hugely”
Pros
Having 200+ templates and 20+ column types gives monday.com a lot of flexibility right away. Editing things is easy, the automations are simple to set up and the integrations are fairly simple to work with too. For an average business, the pricing can come out lower than other similar plans and it usually delivers one of the better ROIs. Since it's also one of the most widely used platforms, it's much easier to find experienced users who already know how to work with it.
Cons
A few limitations still stand out. Ecommerce integrations depend on third-party tools which adds extra steps. The free plan isn't as strong as some competing free options and solo business owners may get better value from other products. I also noticed some templates I wanted weren't available. Support can be inconsistent and there are integration bugs when more than one account is connected to the same email.

“Blog posts were actually helpful”
Pros
One hidden gem for me has been their blog as it's packed with all kinds of useful tips. They also use something called Intercom, where they send regular emails to specific customers and combine that with live chat which is honestly a really smart setup.
Cons
One thing I am not too keen on is that everyone can edit things in real time. It can start to feel confusing pretty quickly.

“Workspace adapted to any team”
Pros
The platform is highly customizable and fits our needs really well. It saves us both time and money thanks to better synchronization and it has helped break down silos by bringing different teams together into one central hub of information.
Cons
The downside is that the more advanced features are locked behind the premium plan so adding new participants and integrations can lead to extra costs.

“Started fast and kept going”
Pros
Getting projects, tasks or even a CRM running in monday.com takes very little effort compared with more traditional project management tools. The admin setup is fast and once that's done, the workflow is already in place for the rest of the team to jump into. That cuts down a lot on staff training. The design is also a big plus. It feels much more modern than the usual collaboration or PM software and the color themes actually make the workspace more engaging and encourage teamwork.
Cons
A few fields still feel limited when it comes to customization. For example, the People field only lets you choose from the existing email list of users who have already been invited into the system. There are times when I need to add external contacts so being able to type in a name directly would make it much more flexible. Without that option, the only workaround is to switch the field type to plain text.

“Perfect for tracking projects well”
Pros
Starting a new job is actually how I got introduced to monday.com and even though I am still getting fully comfortable with it, it becomes really simple to use once you understand how it works. It's been excellent for keeping up with projects and does a really good job of helping organize my time.
Cons
It did take me a little longer than usual to adjust to compared with other similar tools. That said part of that was probably because I was especially busy when I was first learning it.

“Progress tracking kept us advancing”
Pros
Progress tracking has been the most useful part for me. Being able to label tasks by priority also helps a lot with getting things done more efficiently.
Cons
One thing to watch out for is how easy it is to edit items by accident, though it becomes much more manageable once you've spent some time learning the system.

“Automations saved us real hours”
Pros
The feature set really helps with day to day project management. The layout is simple to work with and organize and tools like filters, assigned people and automations make everything much more manageable. Exporting is easy too which is helpful since we can move the data into the MS Office suite and work with it further there. Most of our team has been able to get comfortable with the system quickly and the wide range of features fits naturally into their daily tasks. It also integrates very well with documents on our SharePoint site which has been really useful for keeping document control in place.
Cons
A few small layout options still cannot be customized and there are occasional issues with sorting order but they're minor overall. Some reporting features could also be improved especially when it comes to using dashboards across multiple boards although it seems like that may already be in the process of being improved.

“Every task finally lived together”
Pros
Having all my tasks together in one place is something I really appreciate. I can quickly add notes, update the status of each task and share those changes with every team member involved in that department which keeps everyone aligned.
Cons
I do wish task automation were a bit simpler to set up. It feels a little more geared toward people with a programming mindset when figuring out how to make those things work, even though I do appreciate that automation is available. I also wish task deadlines were a little more noticeable.

“My team genuinely enjoyed this”
Pros
This is incredibly simple and the whole team really loved using it. It kept our to-do management organized, helped us finish projects without missing any steps and made it clear who was responsible for what as multiple projects were moving along. Because of that, everyone stayed aligned and worked together much more effectively.
Cons
Honestly there wasn't anything about the system itself that I disliked. The only reason we didn't keep it was the $24 per month cost for our small company. I happen to have a very talented programmer on staff who built something similar for our office and while we all agree it's not quite as good as this, it gets the job done for $0 a month. Even so, I would absolutely recommend it.
