“Schedule tracking worked excellently”

Everything about it is user friendly and the features are well developed and thoughtfully built. It does an excellent job of tracking schedules and I'd definitely highly recommend it.

Cons

It has been very helpful for me and up to this point I have not come across anything that feels unnecessary or not useful.

Between the project management, creation and tracking features, it covers a lot. When the workload gets heavy and I am dealing with several groups or boards at once, the dashboards are one of the features I appreciate most. That overview helps surface the key summaries and reports so I can stay on top of how tasks are progressing without making the whole process more complicated.

Cons

Some important areas still need improvement especially the integrations which feel a bit limited. At the same time the platform seems crowded with tools that don't feel all that necessary. I'd rather see fewer extras and better optimization of the functions that really matter.

A few basic features are locked behind higher-priced plans and it also doesn't let you use it for fewer than 3 seats which is frustrating since my company only has 2 people.

From kickoff to closeout this platform covers the full project lifecycle really well. I can start, plan, execute, track and wrap up projects without much hassle. When it's used properly, it gives you the right tools and structure to stay on top of everything and it honestly makes me feel ready to jump into the next project.

One thing I'd still like to see is more timely updates. It would also be much better if there were already a package available for smaller teams, around 10 users, instead of having to purchase access individually.

The interface is user friendly right away and the overall design and color choices make the platform pleasant to work in. The board automation logic is also really useful and it helps keep a clear view across a dozen different projects without things getting messy.

Pricing is the part that bothers me most. Whenever I need to add another user, the system recalculates the bill for the entire year which can get frustrating and expensive.

Working with business clients became much more effective once we started using this. The biggest benefits we noticed were closing the communication gap between team members, getting updates more regularly and improving collaboration across the team. It's also very user friendly which made adoption much easier for everyone involved.

Cons

One downside is that comments cannot be assigned to specific users. It also falls short when it comes to strong task dependencies and the reporting features are somewhat limited.

Setting up projects with all the necessary details is very tedious and it really needs better options for letting collaborators contribute to tasks with different editing permission settings to help protect the project setup.

Pros

One thing that really works well with monday.com is how flexible it is. I can set up a separate dashboard for every project I manage and adjust the layout or details based on what that specific project needs. The collaboration features are also very useful because they help our team build a clear workflow plan together, track tasks and keep everything updated as work moves forward. It also lets us create a main folder for each project along with multiple subfolders so we can organize all project-related files and store them in the cloud for access anytime we need them. The alert system is another feature I really value, along with the ability to add notes and assign them to one team member or the whole group which makes it much easier to stay on top of every project update.

Cons

It works well for keeping track of smaller projects with a limited number of activities but once the volume of tasks grows, the platform tends to slow down. There are also times when the automatic updates for task dates inside the workflow chart are not accurate and that creates issues for everyone involved on the team.

Right out of the box this covers most needs really well and the amount of customization available makes it simple to turn it into a solution that fits your organization specifically. It handles project management extremely well and gives teams the visibility they need to stay on top of timelines and deadlines. For organizations juggling a lot of projects at once, it feels like an essential tool.

Getting everyone into the habit of using the system did take some discipline although that's not something unique to this platform. We ended up assigning a few internal champions to help drive adoption across the team and that made a huge difference. Those super-users were a big part of why the rollout succeeded and now the team genuinely enjoys using it.

One of the best things about this software is how much we can tailor it to fit the way our company works. It's also customizable at the user level which makes it even more useful for different people on the team.

Getting used to working within individual items can be a bit tricky at first until you really learn how the system works.

Even though I am fairly new to the platform, I have already seen how well it helps us put new ideas and workflows into action. We are a small division inside a very large company so it can be tough to stand out At times but this gives us a good system we can tailor to exactly what we need while also bringing in people from outside our division without much trouble. Another big plus is that it requires almost no training at all. People tend to pick it up quickly and start using it right away.

At this point our division really doesn't have any complaints.
