“Tasks visible across all departments”

Pros

One thing I really like about it is how flexible it is with rows as we can add as many as we need without feeling limited. It has been wonderful for our workflow and has basically replaced all of our Excel-based tracking. I also like that comments can be added directly to any task and the color-coded task statuses make everything much clearer at a glance. Another feature that stands out is the last-seen visibility for users which is something I had not seen in any CRM before.

Cons

Honestly I do not have anything negative to mention here.

“Remote teamwork finally felt easy”

Pros

When the pandemic started we began using monday.com and it turned out to be an excellent fit for team collaboration especially with remote work. It helps us stay in touch with team members and it's really useful for planning and tracking projects and daily tasks. I also get due date alerts which makes it much easier to stay on top of deadlines and see clearly who is responsible for each task.

Cons

Up to this point it has been working extremely well and has lived up to everything we expected from it.

At the beginning though it can be a bit hard to understand and get used to.

Smooth collaboration is easily the strongest part of this software. Multiple team members can work in it at the same time and it still stays organized and keeps everyone on track.

Getting started can be a little confusing for new users. There are a lot of features to figure out and some of the options like comments, subitems and similar tools can feel difficult at first. Once you understand how everything works, though, it's really not too complicated.

Getting everyone started is pretty easy and the onboarding experience feels approachable for employees across the board.

Cons

It would be better with more Gantt charts or similar project management visualizations available.

Pros

Day to day this has become my go to project management tool and I honestly cannot picture switching to anything else for keeping tasks organized and monitoring my team's progress. The platform is very interactive and user friendly which makes everything easier to follow. Assigning work and collaborating across different teams has become much more efficient.

Cons

One thing I would still like to see improved is the ability to edit tasks after they've already been assigned. That part can make things a bit inconvenient At times although it's not a major obstacle.

This program is very easy to use and it helped us keep all of our clients and prospects organized in one place.

Cons

The pricing felt too expensive. We ended up downgrading because the value we were getting just didn't justify the cost.

Running everything through monday.com has been a big help for staying on top of work. It's an excellent cloud-based work management platform that helps organize just about every part of the workflow. The customization options feel nearly limitless so it can be set up exactly the way you need. I mainly use it for task and project management and it makes it simple to follow the progress of all my client projects along with my own blog. Having everything managed in one place is really convenient and the content calendar is especially useful for planning content months ahead.

Cons

The biggest downside is that unlocking more advanced features requires a monthly subscription and there's no way to pay for just one user. The smallest team size starts at 3 seats so as a solo freelancer, you end up paying three times more than you actually need. That said the free Individual Plan is still good enough for many freelancers.

Having everything laid out in one place especially tasks and their due dates at a high level, is incredibly helpful. The platform is very user friendly and the built-in communication features add a lot of value especially for remote teams.

Cons

Pricing can be a barrier for companies trying to implement it across the whole organization and that can lead to a disconnect when some team members are using the tool while others are not.

It works well for messaging employees and helping keep everyone on task.

One thing that gets in the way is the lack of message alerts and the platform can feel a bit disjointed at times.

Being new to this app I am already really enjoying it. One thing I especially love is being able to finish a task and mark it complete so the whole team can instantly see it.

Pretty much all of my routine day to day tasks are now organized neatly and handled through this platform. It's honestly been a game changer for me.

The standout for me is the automation feature. It helps keep tasks moving without needing to constantly log into the platform although the monthly automation limit on the lower-tier plans is pretty restrictive.

Honestly I dislike nearly everything about this software especially the project management and CRM parts. From a PM perspective, it's not easy to build task templates and reuse them for future projects. I also couldn't find a way to update dates across multiple tasks at once which makes entering a project feel tedious and adjusting timelines later even more frustrating. The platform does offer some attractive views and a few prebuilt project templates but with PM experience, it feels more like an obstacle than a useful tool. On the CRM side, I was genuinely surprised to see it marketed that way. Having worked with several CRMs, I found very little here that actually functions like one. It might work for extremely basic contact management but not much beyond that. overall it feels like the team is putting a lot of effort into the product but it's trying to cover too much and not really doing any of it well.

Using this platform has been a really positive experience. It's very user friendly and honestly it feels like the best software I have worked with. I enjoy using it a lot and it has been amazing overall. More power to this software.

Cons

The fact that they designed it to be so simple to use actually stands out. It's a very useful piece of software for us engineers.

“Handled large team projects perfectly”

Pros

This platform was easy to set up and run and it fits into a project without much effort. I tend to rely on it most for large-scale work with lots of deliverables and bigger teams. It does a really good job of assigning responsibilities, helping everyone stay on top of deadlines and adjusting to a project's changing needs in real time.

Cons

It works best in my workflow when I am managing larger projects. I do not really use it for everyday organization or to handle daily work across multiple projects. For me, it is mainly a tool I turn to for bigger initiatives.
