“Controlled workflows without unnecessary friction”

Pros

Among workflow tools this is probably one of the simplest to use for managing day to day operations. Whether you need to monitor the performance of a single project or handle several projects at the same time it keeps everything organized and running well. The features and overall functionality are excellent.

Cons

How useful it is really depends on what an organization needs. If the goal is project management and tracking progress, then this software is definitely a strong option. But if that is not your main use case, it may come across as too basic and not especially appealing.

“Team collaboration finally felt natural”

Pros

From a daily user's perspective it was very easy to use. I wasn't the one who handled the initial setup but I worked in it every day for team communication and collaboration. The features were useful and I appreciated being able to see all the project details in one place while also sharing my thoughts with the team. overall it was a really nice piece of software.

Cons

Since I didn't use it much in a manager role, I don't really have much feedback on what should be changed. Honestly I cannot think of anything I disliked overall.

Right from the start the interface feels brilliant and the more you use it, the easier everything becomes over time.

Cons

Pricing is on the high side especially since full functionality requires an extra $200 a year which really doesn't make sense for a one-person operation.

Pros

Having all of our tasks and projects together in one place makes a huge difference. The whole team can view, update and edit everything which helps keep everyone aligned and on the same page.

Cons

Nothing to complain about right now. It has been working really well for our fully remote team.

Having everything in one platform is really helpful especially with time tracking, task management and assigning people to projects all built into the same place.

Cons

The downside is the pricing which gets quite expensive for a larger company. I also cannot just pay for the one feature I actually need which is assigning people to projects.

Pros

Between the customization options and the wide range of integrations, it covers pretty much everything a project manager needs. I used it first as a Marketing Manager and now as a Product Manager and even though the requirements are different in each role, the dashboards are still simple to adapt. Once the whole team is using it, the platform becomes even more valuable thanks to task assignment and the ability to manage day to day business activities in one place.

Cons

With a feature rich tool like this the admin really needs to put the right setup in place so it works well for the entire team. It also takes some effort to make sure everyone keeps the platform updated and uses it consistently.

The visual layout makes it quick to jump in and figure out how everything works. It also offers a wide range of team management tools so you can adapt the software to fit the way your team prefers to work.

Cons

Since it is mainly built around team management, it may not be the ideal choice if you need to handle areas outside of that focus.

Visually the software is very appealing and feels like a nice upgrade from the usual spreadsheet or Google Drive setup. After I took the time to learn it through their excellent tutorials and rolled it out to the team, it became fairly user friendly.

Cons

I still think there are quite a few features we are not using to their full potential simply because we do not really know how. It also does not provide the onboarding I expected especially given how heavily it is advertised as being super easy to use. That was not my experience at the beginning and I had to rely on a lot of tutorials just to understand the basics.

Using it every day was very easy and one of my clients had me rely on it constantly to help keep her organized.

Well its pricing ended up being a lot higher than I expected.

Working with a distributed web development team is much more manageable with Monday.com. It's very user friendly, works really well for project collaboration and offers plenty of features without feeling complicated.

The cost can get pretty high when you're managing a larger team.

Overall it's a very complete management system that lets different departments assign cases to team members, set priorities and keep track of everything. It also helps document progress and customer interactions since files can be uploaded as part of the updates. As a ticketing tool it's definitely a great option.

Even though it has excellent functionality, the interface could use some improvement. At times it feels overloaded with text and that can make it a bit difficult to find a specific option when you need it.

Everything about this software is very good. It lets us manage tasks without paper and keeps the whole process efficient.

At times the platform can be a bit slow and there are still some bugs that have not been resolved.

There are plenty of user friendly features and it works really well for setting up separate boards or spaces for different people.

Cons

Tasks can pile up quickly which makes everything harder to manage at once. Also the only real place to move things is the archive since there isn't a separate repository.

One thing I absolutely love is how it sends notifications only to the people who actually need them when tasks get completed. That's especially helpful when your work depends on someone else finishing their part before you can begin yours.

They do have a mobile app but it's a bit frustrating that I have to switch to landscape mode to see all the tasks at once. On desktop, the full view is definitely much better.

I like that with monday.com you can simply track step-by-step procedures in as many Departments as your firm has with ease. The team is also highly cooperative and professional.
