Team updates actually worked well

Pros

Keeping track of work and planning the next steps is really easy and the Slack integrations do a nice job of keeping everyone on the team updated in real time.

Cons

At times it can be hard to locate the right project especially since we have a lot of boards created and some of them use the same client names.

Organized teamwork finally done right

Pros

The functionality and overall user friendliness of this software really stand out. It's been very well designed for keeping a team organized and on the same page.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the trial period as it would help if it lasted at least a month so people have enough time to properly test everything. Storage could also use some improvement.

Tracking kept projects perfectly timed

Pros

Its tracking tools work well and collaborating with others on projects is pretty convenient. I also like the automated emails that keep collaborators updated on progress and remind everyone about the remaining to do items.

Cons

A lot of the features feel quite limited unless you pay for the full package. On top of that the template format wasn't very user friendly.

Clean design appeared across departments

Pros

The interface has a pleasant design and working with others on it is not a hassle.

Cons

It gets very expensive if you need Gantt view and proper deadline management and it's not a good fit for modern software development.

Team task tracking proved helpful

Pros

Keeping tabs on the projects everyone on my team is handling at any given time is really convenient with this tool. It also works well for assigning tasks and sending reminders so there's less need to reach out to people directly every time.

Cons

Getting everything set up especially the automations, is fairly difficult. On top of that some notifications didn't come through and customer support wasn't very useful when help was needed.

Visual planning was finally right

Pros

Right away the interface seems friendly and very visual. It works really well as a team planner for managing time, projects, workflows and day to day tasks. Everything is organized clearly so finding what you need is easy. Another feature I like is being able to switch between different plan views depending on the user.

Cons

The only real drawback is that it feels a little too basic if you need a fully featured project management tool which is what we were looking for.

Versatile integrations suited every team

Pros

Works really well for both small businesses and larger companies and it's very simple to use. There are also plenty of integrations available which makes it adaptable to different workflows.

Cons

Well the pricing seems expensive for individual users and costs go up as your team grows. You'll also need to speak with sales if you want to negotiate better rates.

Project visibility improved significantly here

Pros

Ever since we started using it, our project organization has gotten much better. It's really helpful to see the progress my coworkers are making at each stage of a project.

Cons

This could just be on my end but figuring out where to upload files isn't very user friendly.

Deadline tracking proved genuinely helpful

Pros

Simple to navigate and it does a really good job of keeping track of deadlines and showing what tasks everyone is currently tied up with.

Cons

I just wish the subscription cost was a little lower.

Templates friendly, integrations quite limited

Pros

From a structural standpoint the platform is quite user friendly and comes with plenty of templates to work from. For project and process management, it does a decent job when you're handling simpler workflows.

Cons

At the same time there are stronger project management tools available that offer more depth. This software seems to aim at being everything for everyone and that really works against it. The CRM it claims to offer is very basic and barely integrates well with other tools. Even the connections through Zapier and other third party integrators don't live up to expectations.

Collaborative workflow powered daily efficiency

Pros

Right away Monday.com felt very user friendly. The layout is well designed, visually clear and simple to follow. The commenting feature and @mentions are especially helpful for keeping everyone updated and making collaboration much more effective.

Cons

One area that could be improved is linking different projects or tasks since that part can feel a little less user friendly. Setting it up the first time may be slightly confusing and having training videos available would make the onboarding process much more helpful.

Flexible tracking hit every deadline

Pros

Entering data and setting up tasks is fairly easy and there are plenty of useful field options for keeping track of everything clearly.

Cons

Its comment section can become pretty chaotic since you can reply to a comment or start a separate one which makes conversations confusing. Having so many boards also makes it harder to quickly locate the right one.

Task visibility genuinely delivered well

Pros

Using Monday.com has been a big help for me. I really appreciate how much visibility it gives across everything and it makes completing tasks much faster and more efficient. It also works well for creating discussion groups where ideas can be shared while keeping specific tasks visible to everyone involved.

Cons

The only downside I noticed was that it takes a bit of time to learn at the beginning. Once you get some training and spend a little time with it though it becomes much easier to use confidently.

Boards consistently kept us organized

Pros

Custom boards tailored to different use cases and each person's daily task goals are what make this software feel worth the cost for our firm. We rolled it out in 2019 and when COVID forced everyone to work from home, the transition was much easier because we could still assign tasks to specific employees, communicate around the work and keep track of progress toward goals. It has been a huge upgrade from using spreadsheets.

Cons

I feel like the price is a bit high for what it does but the product keeps getting better over time so it has still been worth the investment.

Affordable across every department used

Pros

It offers great value for the price especially considering the services included. The platform is also easy to use, not overly complicated and simple to manage on a daily basis.

Cons

I have not noticed any clear downsides in my own use. That said as a business grows some users may start to run into limitations or see a few negatives.

Automation saved daily operational hours

Pros

Planning organizing and sharing documents or other items with teammates works really well on Monday.com. The automation tools are especially useful for sending messages and having multiple project view options makes it even better to manage work in different ways.

Cons

Setting up teams inside the platform can be a bit tricky at times. There's also a limit on how many people can access a board unless you move to a higher plan. On top of that the system can slow down when too many notifications start coming in.

Boards integrated with teams smoothly

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how well it works with MS Teams. We can set up workspaces and boards, then link or embed them directly into a Teams group or channel which makes collaboration much more connected.

Cons

Setting up recurring tasks isn't very easy. To make that work, users have to rely on the more advanced Automation features which can take some effort to figure out.

All teamwork centralized in one spot

Pros

Keeping all team collaboration in one place without making it overly complicated to manage is exactly what this platform offers and that has been a big plus for me.

Setting up teams can be a bit confusing when you're new to the platform. It also feels a little slow at times.
