“Goal tracking visibility proved fantastic”

Pros

Having clear visibility into goal tracking and task completion percentages has been one of my favorite parts of using Monday.com. It was my first time working with the platform and I ended up loving it. The ability to create discussion topics for brainstorming is also really useful especially since you can make them visible to specific groups when needed.

Cons

The only downside I ran into was a slight learning curve at the beginning while figuring out how to use it. After a quick crash course with a coworker though I was able to understand it and get up to speed pretty fast.

The platform looks amazing, is very user friendly and is extremely user friendly to work with.

At times the large number of view options and configuration settings can feel a little overwhelming.

Monday.com is very user friendly and our team was able to learn it quickly and begin using it right away. The workspace management features have also been very useful for us.

Cons

I wouldn't really rely on it as a complete CRM. Email tracking feels limited and platforms like HubSpot are built more as unified systems where every customer touchpoint is connected. Its CRM tools work well for certain needs, such as case handling but from a marketing standpoint, there are better CRM options available.

It's very simple to use and working together with co-workers on it is hassle free.

To be honest I don't have anything I dislike about this software.

One thing it did have going for it was the integration with our in-house rostering system and the colorful interface made the different features easy to spot and navigate.

Cons

The overall value just didn't feel worth the price and the reporting and analytics tools were far less useful than I expected.

It manages the dashboards for projects very well. It is easy to review all our projects and make improvements whenever needed.

“Versatile workflows powered daily efficiency”

Pros

Across different types of businesses this tool is very easy to work with and fits a wide range of use cases. It integrates well with other programs and websites and the management features are especially strong. The customization options are accessible and flexible which makes it easier to adapt to different needs. It also does a good job of tracking task status and balancing workloads during day to day operations.

Cons

A few limitations still stand out. Some columns cannot be locked which can be inconvenient. It's also not the easiest program to learn without some training and certain parts of the interface can feel confusing at times. On top of that the timeline view isn't very helpful visually and the placement of online documents is not very user friendly.

Pros

It is simple to use and visually appealing. The layout is clean, the organization makes sense and everything seems user friendly. It's the kind of platform that actually makes me want to keep using it.

Cons

I have not run into any major issues. It really feels like a carefully planned and well-designed platform.

Pros

The color coding really helps keep everything organized and the dashboards are flexible enough to adapt to different workflows. The automations are also a useful feature and add a lot of value to the platform.

Cons

One downside is that the automation options still feel limited. There's no automation support for sub-items and the custom automation choices aren't varied enough to cover every need.

“Project assignments became wonderfully simple”

Pros

Adding projects is easy and assigning them to team members is just as convenient.

Cons

I honestly have not run into any issues with this product.

Pros

Used the right way this platform can fix a lot of communication gaps across a team. It keeps everyone aligned by showing who is working on what and when things are expected to be finished. The flexibility is huge too as there are countless ways to set it up, whether you need it for workflows, project tracking, team management or pretty much any process you want to organize. It's highly customizable which makes it useful for a wide range of needs.

Cons

There really are not many downsides but if I had to point one out, it would be the learning curve. This is not a tool you fully understand right away and it takes training, reading, videos or webinars to really learn what it can do. Because it offers so many features, it can also be tough to stay current with everything new they release. That said they do a good job with education as there are lots of YouTube tutorials covering every part of the platform plus a full knowledge base to help fill in the gaps.

“Updates stayed reliable across departments”

Pros

Our four-person accounting team relies on this software to handle everything needed for month-end close, keep projects on track and process payroll, with a few guest HR users involved as well. It covers a lot of ground for us. One thing I really appreciate is how often they keep improving and updating the platform. That ongoing development gives me confidence that the product is here to stay.

Cons

The biggest downside for us is the cost. Even though the platform brings a lot of value, the pricing feels a little steep for a small team like ours. Still, it works well enough that I plan to keep renewing it each year unless a better option comes along.

Pros

The sales team has an unobstructed view of their current and past deals with a visual representation of their progress and project portfolio.

Cons

File sharing and downloading are a bit cumbersome with this software.

“Remote tracking was finally right”

Pros

Working remotely is much more manageable with this tool especially for small businesses. I have seen plenty of teams use it to keep every project organized in one place, particularly design-related work. You can upload projects, collaborate with coworkers and stay on top of deadlines without things slipping through the cracks.

Cons

Because it offers such a wide range of features and functionality, you probably won't be able to take full advantage of everything right away. The basics are user friendly but there's definitely a fairly steep learning curve if you want to unlock and use the platform to its fullest potential.

“Workflow companion proved genuinely helpful”

Pros

This app does a really good job of keeping my workflow organized. It's simple to use especially when I pair it with the web version. The timeline notifications come through on time and it works well on my phone too.

Cons

Getting my staff to adopt the app has been difficult because it sometimes keeps loading for hours which makes it frustrating to use.

“Boards improved team visibility well”

Pros

The boards make it much clearer to see what both I and my coworkers are working on which really helps when managing multiple tasks at once. That visibility matters a lot because without it, keeping track of how much work is being handled and by how many employees becomes pretty difficult.

Cons

At the beginning the boards were a bit confusing to figure out especially when it came to understanding how many boards I was subscribed to and which ones actually needed my attention. After a few weeks though I got used to it. A short onboarding video covering the main features would be really useful, if there isn't one already.

“Custom workflows centralized in one spot”

Pros

Being able to customize practically everything is a huge plus and it lets me set things up in a way that matches how I stay organized. It keeps my projects on track and brings everything together in one place.

Cons

If I had to point out one downside, it would be the comments. They tend to get buried and aren't very visible so it's easy to miss them.

“Gantt charts worked fantastically everywhere”

Pros

Getting started with it is quick and keeping everything updated is just as simple. Being able to enter information and immediately see it laid out on a Gantt chart is really useful. The accountability tools are another big plus since it's clear who owns each task and what the deadline is.

Cons

One thing I'd change is the pricing model. Instead of charging the same rate for every user, it would make more sense to offer an active contributor seat and a lower-cost observer seat.

“Completing work becomes both enjoyable and productive with it”

Pros

Teams work together on complex projects. This software includes features like time tracking, resource sharing, multiple kanban boards, workflow streamlining and communication, etc.

Cons

Sometimes the data is lost, which is frustrating.

“Workflow app proved consistently reliable”

Pros

Across notes, lists, progress tracking and day to day organization, this app stands out as one of the best I have used in this category. The mobile experience works really well and the tools are flexible enough to fit all kinds of businesses and different ways of working.

Cons

Honestly I don't have anything major to complain about. It froze a little at first but it was very minor and didn't seem like an actual problem with the application itself.
