“Project management UI looked appealing”

Pros

This product is very simple and the interface is visually appealing. It's definitely a platform worth considering if you need a project management tool.

Cons

Honestly there wasn't anything about the software itself that I disliked. The only reason I didn't keep using it was because my trial ended and I was searching for something meant for individual use. The paid license required covering three or four additional users which pushed the cost well beyond what fit my budget.

“Poor choice for task tracking”

Pros

At a basic level it functions. You're able to set up projects, boards and tasks.

Cons

When it comes to actual task management though it just doesn't do the job. Period.

Pros

Having everything gathered in one place really helps me move faster when making decisions and it also makes planning out my ideas much more organized and effective.

Cons

The only downside is that the higher-tier plans with the better features feel a bit too expensive.

“Social media planning worked wonderfully”

Pros

As a Social Media Manager the biggest benefit for me has been how well this platform supports collaboration with my external media partner, planning content and keeping track of exactly when each social media post is scheduled to go live. It's very user friendly and there are plenty of online tutorials available which makes learning the system much easier if you're new to it. The templates are also really helpful for getting started quickly and whenever you need extra help, their team is easy to reach and genuinely happy to assist.

Cons

One part of the tool that frustrates me is that even after I have finished my part of a task, reassigned it to the next person and removed myself from it, I still continue to get notifications whenever there's an update on that task. That ends up cluttering my inbox unnecessarily.

Really easy to use, quick to implement and simple to keep track of everything afterward.

Cons

A lot of the best features cost extra and it would be better if more of them were included in the base price from the beginning.

I Like that its in a list style, similar to Google Sheets, but with extra capacity. I can assign individuals to projects, attach files, and set deadlines, all while keeping track of everything in a simple, editable list style.

Cons

Subtasks are necessary, but they must be managed properly or they will go lost.

Pros

We now have practically everything in one location, which we can access from anywhere, thanks to Monday. This has helped us become a lot more efficient and better at keeping track of the numerous tiny tasks and deadlines that go into a successful project. Monday is incredibly user-friendly, with good assistance and tutorials, and quick tech support. I also like that they are constantly improving and adding new features to improve the software even more.

Cons

There is a learning curve for some of the more advanced capabilities. But with software that can accomplish so much, that is to be anticipated.

“Setup had teams running quickly”

Pros

It is a simple tool, whether you choose a template or build everything from scratch. Within just a few minutes, the layout makes sense and you can begin working in it and seeing value right away.

Cons

There are two clear downsides for us like we've run into quite a bit of downtime lately and the pricing is extremely expensive.

The platform is clean and organized and tracking deadlines is very easy. It's simple to get started with so understanding the basics doesn't require a long training session. After spending a bit of time setting things up, the automations can make day to day work much easier.

Cons

At times the notifications can get a little annoying and the discussion feature could use some improvement.

Pros

One thing that really worked well for our team was how customizable it is. I was able to add everyone on my team so they could stay updated on all active projects. Being able to build our own projects, tables, columns, color coding and more made a big difference in keeping everything organized and the team on track.

Cons

It didn't connect with every other tool we use, although since we are in a pretty specialized industry, that wasn't too surprising. Even with that limitation, it was still very useful for our team.

Pros

Monday.com is a fantastic website! I like that its highly user-friendly and easy to set up and use. I also like that with monday.com, you may build up your Project Boards in a variety of ways which makes them highly versatile and powerful.

Cons

The software is pricey, especially when compared to rival projects but so worth the price.

Pros

Its dashboard works well for keeping an eye on every item in a project and it makes it simple to track progress and notify customers whenever there are updates or issues.

Cons

It would be much better if there were a built in customer portal for sharing updates directly, instead of having to email customers by copying and pasting notes from the system.

The integrations and calendar widgets were really amazing and worked well.

Cons

For apparel product development the way task timing, status and management are set up felt too urgent and too linear for how we actually work. Labels like priority don't really make sense for us since our process is based more on a sequence of tasks, with multiple styles feeding into one bigger project or collection and then multiple collections on top of that. We plan by weeks and by the number of weeks per collection and there wasn't a practical way to build that out or make quick edits so it didn't really help us move away from Excel.

It is easy to use thanks to its clear task management setup and my team has definitely become more efficient since we introduced it into our workflow. we are also able to build our own task templates and reuse them whenever needed which saves time when planning tasks or putting together new projects.

Cons

The mobile app is where the software really falls behind. It hasn't been reliable for me and tends to freeze whenever I refresh the dashboard. Because of that, I have ended up using it through my mobile web browser instead since it works more consistently than the app.

The tool is easy to work with and can be adjusted pretty easily to match your own preferences.

Cons

At the beginning it was a little complicated to understand how the program basically works.

Working across teams feels much more connected with Monday.com. It's simple to see what everyone is handling and how each project is progressing. The boards offer plenty of useful fields and display options, including status, owner, documents, links, descriptions, updates, tags and more, plus integrations with several other tools. I also appreciate the overall task progress view and the customizable form templates for creating new tasks. One feature that stands out in a good way is how different boards can sync with each other, even across separate teams so updates made in one board can automatically reflect in another through custom automations.

Cons

Every now and then the automations run into bugs. I know that can happen and I assume the team is aware of it but it's still frustrating when I have to step in and handle something manually. It doesn't ruin the platform overall though it does interrupt the workflow at times.

Pros

Managing projects and daily tasks with Monday.com has been a really positive experience. It comes with plenty of useful features, including Kanban, Chart, Calendar and Timeline views which makes it flexible for different kinds of business work. I use it to keep track of my business projects and tasks and the interface is one of the things I appreciate most. The layout feels clean organized and very user friendly. The free plan is quite limited but it still gives you a risk-free way to test the platform and see if it fits your workflow.

Cons

At first the number of options felt like a lot and getting started was a bit overwhelming. I was somewhat confused in the beginning because the platform offers so many possibilities right away. Thankfully, the tutorial videos helped me understand how to use it better. Another downside is the pricing structure which I am not a big fan of and that makes the tool feel expensive. I'd recommend it more for teams than for freelancers.

I like using Monday.com for both my own project management and teamwork. Its almost ideal for larger teams and projects, in my opinion. I like that its so easy yet strong and adaptable to use.

Cons

As it goes deeper and deeper, it might become too complex. Because they were so immersed in the project, things sometimes went lost.

The UI, overall layout and functionality really clicked with me. I have enjoyed using it enough that I am even considering upgrading to a premium plan.

That said the basic features still feel pretty limited.

Working with it has been a really positive experience. The platform is collaborative, innovative and user friendly which has made it enjoyable to use. Setting up automations is simple and it does a fantastic job of helping organize processes across the organization. I'd definitely recommend it.

One thing I'd like to see improved is having more control over what other users are allowed to do in the system. There have been times when people were able to edit my board even though they really shouldn't have had that level of access.
