“Workload control delivered consistently well”
Pros
Keeping track of my workload has become much more manageable with this. Using a form for project requests and time estimates helps me avoid overcommitting and makes it easier to set the right expectations from the start.
Cons
The automation tools seem like they have a lot of potential but the way they work right now seems a bit confusing. I'd really like to see that feature developed and refined further.

“overall pretty awkward”
Pros
The colorful interface is clean and user friendly so it's easy for just about anyone to follow.
Cons
Well the tool seems almost too flexible and it doesn't really match the way we think about or talk through ideas.

“Adapted well across every department”
Pros
One thing I really like is how versatile Monday.com is while still being very simple to use. It's nice having a platform that doesn't take a whole team just to manage and keep running.
Cons
As the team gets bigger and the needs expand, it can become a little more complicated to handle formulas and work across multiple boards.

“loved it!”
Pros
The automations and integrations make assigning work and keeping track of tasks really simple. I don't have to keep reminding coworkers about upcoming or overdue items because the system handles those follow-ups for me.
Cons
For everyday personal task management, it doesn't quite meet my needs when I am trying to organize my daily routine. It feels much better suited to project management than day to day planning.

“Tracking proved flexible during practice”
Pros
It lets us track projects based on the specific parameters we set so it adapts really well to the way our team works.
Cons
There are a lot of features which can make it easy for things to get overlooked and people sometimes end up using the platform in different ways.

“Quick setup handled daily operations”
Pros
The tool is really user friendly and the overall experience of using it has been excellent. It was very simple to implement and get up and running right away.
Cons
Because it's such an all in one kind of platform setting up some of the more advanced features can take a bit of extra effort.

“Custom boards clicked perfectly well”
Pros
One of the best parts is how much control you get over the structure of each board so every team or user can tailor it to match the way they actually work. When I explain it to friends, I usually call it a spreadsheet mixed with social media.
Cons
Since every board can be set up a little differently some people have trouble when they step outside the workspace they use all the time. Still, it usually feels more like they won't adapt rather than they cannot because it's pretty simple to read the column names and check a nearby pulse to understand what the board owner wants.

“Teamwork stayed organized and delivered”
Pros
Our whole team is able to manage work in a much more organized and structured way with Monday.com. It also helps us handle important assignments effectively by making collaboration and team discussions much more productive.
Cons
It performs reliably even when my team is working on complex assignments. The biggest issue though is the mobile app which tends to be glitchy quite often. I believe the mobile application needs improvement to perform better.

“Tracking kept every project timely”
Pros
It works really well for project tracking, keeping an eye on project costs by comparing budget versus actuals and managing resources effectively.
Cons
My biggest reservations are that it's only available in the cloud when I'd rather have a private deployment option and the pricing feels a bit high.

“Team collaboration ran incredibly smooth”
Pros
This is very easy to use and it creates a user friendly workspace where collaborators can manage cases together without any hassle.
Cons
Nothing negative to point out. One thing that could make it even better would be adding quick video chat options to help teams manage projects more effectively.

“Visual workflows kept teams advancing”
Pros
The layout is visually appealing, the drag and drop tools are really convenient and it's very simple to keep track of how tasks are progressing.
Cons
The pricing structure is a bit confusing and it would really benefit from having a recurring task feature.

“flexibility is limited”
Pros
Its interface looks really amazing and there are definitely some promising parts to the platform. The templates provide decent starting points and there's a wide range of integrations available, even though many of them feel a bit half baked.
Cons
It comes across as a tool that's trying to cover every possible use case and because of that, it doesn't seem to do any one thing particularly well. Despite all the claims about flexibility, getting it to work exactly the way we needed was extremely difficult and the out-of-the-box functionality felt pretty limited. The integrations we tested had major functionality issues and didn't really support what we needed them to do. We stuck with it for a year but we are now switching to Notion because it feels more focused on databases and documentation without all the added complexity.

“Project tracking consistently delivered well”
Pros
As we continue rolling it out across our workflow, it's already been really helpful for organizing projects, assigning responsibilities and staying on top of time tracking.
Cons
Getting familiar with everything it can do takes some time since there's definitely a learning curve with all of its capabilities.

“Exactly what we needed!”
Pros
Monday is our first choice for planning and managing a huge project because it comes highly recommended. We found that it was a lot better method to organize, track, and plan practically everything we do. The system is highly intuitive with easy customization and great support. We Approve Monday.com!
Cons
Many of the features that I would have highlighted as lacking in the system have been added since we started using it.

“Colorful dashboards organized work nicely”
Pros
Keeping teams aligned is much faster with Monday.com because everyone can quickly see which tasks need attention. The workflows fit collaborative work across departments like IT management and admin teams and they help make sure stage gates are set properly for more efficient coordination. Its built in project management tools support both Kanban and Gantt chart views which is especially helpful for people who still prefer a more traditional project management style while also wanting real time update tracking. The interface is clean, colorful and pleasant to work in and there are plenty of widgets and apps that can be added to customize the page. One of the best parts is how simple it is to build a project dashboard and set up workflows for communication, notifications and task management within a project.
Cons
One thing I really wish they would restore is phone support since it was stopped during the pandemic. Another limitation is that unregistered users cannot access any data or reports, not even in a view-only format which makes user management much less useful unless everyone is fully registered in the system. Integrations also feel somewhat limited, with only a small number of software connections available, including Slack and some Exchange email options.

“Seat-based billing cost too much”
Pros
It's a great software tool overall and the interface is easy and simple to use.
Cons
I think the biggest downside is the pricing. It costs far more than it should for what you actually get especially since they force you to purchase accounts in bundles like 5 or 10 seats which leads to paying for more users than needed. Because of that, the stated per-user price feels misleading. On top of that they also bill for inactive accounts. We ended up receiving several very large invoices and even though they acknowledged those accounts weren't being used, they still refused to issue a refund or even apply a credit for future billing.

“Setup adapted for any team”
Pros
One thing that really works well is how customizable this software is to fit a company's specific needs. It's simple to build out exactly what you need without feeling limited.
Cons
The only downside is the usual learning curve that comes with any new software especially when you're getting used to how to create your lists.
