“Flexible boards with unified workflows”
Pros
What really made Monday.com stand out to me was how flexible the project boards are in both layout and structure. It removes a lot of the limitations I have run into with other project management tools and lets you organize workflows the way that actually fits your team. That level of flexibility helped our firm combine project management, lead management and client management all in one platform.
Cons
One frustration I had was the limited flexibility of the API. Since I work as a developer, I am always trying to automate as much of my workflow as I can but I kept running into roadblocks when trying to connect the API with my custom software. It became frustrating enough that I eventually gave up trying to build around the missing functionality.

“Automations saved working hours practically”
Pros
Monday.com is a very simple tool and it comes packed with really useful features for tracking usage and KPIs with just a click. The reporting capabilities are especially impressive and it's clear the team has put a lot of thought into how well the platform works across different functions. I also like the wide range of automations and integrations available as the platform is very powerful in that area and there are enough options to automate any workflow. On top of that the customer support and user community are excellent. The team responds quickly and is genuinely helpful when it comes to getting things set up for specific needs and requirements. Another big plus is how transparent they are about upcoming features. They use Monday.com boards to share product changes which gives me a lot of confidence that they truly believe in the platform since they rely on it to run their own business as well. Overall it's an excellent product.
Cons
Our team relies heavily on subtasks within the boards and there are still a few important features missing there. They've been making good progress and are actively working on improvements but for now it can still feel a bit difficult to manage.

“helps with meeting deadlines”
Pros
It is easy to use and it made it simple to track activities across the company and plan ahead. The free version was actually the reason we decided to try the tool in the first place.
Cons
A frustrating part came later. When we signed up, it seemed like the free version would be available indefinitely because that's how it was advertised. But after some time had passed and our whole team had fully moved over to the platform we suddenly couldn't access our information unless we upgraded to a more expensive plan which wasn't affordable for us then. That was a major letdown. We ended up losing a lot of data and had to redo much of the setup work in a different tool.

“Online setup caused billing headaches”
Pros
Getting started was quick since everything could be set up online without installing any software.
Cons
Customer support feels nonexistent. They keep pushing account upgrades and overcharging instead of adjusting licensing properly. When we added just 1 user, they moved us from a 25-user plan to a 50-user plan which doubled our cost overnight. I have been trying to get this fixed for a week with no success and it has been a complete waste of time.

“all in one workspace proved powerful”
Pros
Clean interface, helpful user community and one platform that can handle the work of four tools at once such as planning, customer management, testing, budgeting and pretty much anything else you decide to build with it.
Cons
The biggest hesitation is the pricing. We genuinely enjoy using it but every renewal makes us stop and think especially with free alternatives out there.

“Client tracking worked fantastically well”
Pros
Getting started with Monday.com was really quick and it didn't take long at all to feel comfortable using it. It works well with online forms for bringing in data and it does a very good job of storing and organizing our client database. we are also able to use it to keep up with scheduling and manage our pipelines efficiently.
Cons
At this point there's honestly not much to complain about. The only thing I am still looking into is whether automatic reminders or task creation can be set up when importing data because that would make our workflow a lot more convenient.

“Flexible setup served business needs”
Pros
The flexibility is a big plus. You can customize and configure it to fit pretty much whatever your business needs.
Cons
That said even though it presents itself as fully versatile, it feels much more suited to tech-focused companies. For my construction business, it ended up being more like a glorified spreadsheet than a truly tailored solution.

“Interface clumsy, navigation still clear”
Pros
Honestly there wasn't anything about this software that I enjoyed. It is confusing, awkward and hard to use overall.
Cons
After giving this software a try, I ended up moving to a different project management tool because the interface was difficult to navigate and frustrating to work with.

“Task tracking views were fantastic”
Pros
This works really well for task management, though I wouldn't rely on it for full project management and that distinction is worth making. I mainly use it to keep up with my personal task list and the multiple views, simple color coding and the consolidated My Week view have been especially useful.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the Slack integration. I can create a task from Slack but after that, there's not much I can do to edit or update it directly there.

“tool proved genuinely helpful”
Pros
Having dependent tasks update automatically is something I really appreciated especially for keeping the timeline on track without needing constant manual follow-up.
Cons
The platform doesn't look very user friendly from a project management standpoint. Managing dependencies, timelines and task durations can be harder than it should be.

“Remote teamwork became noticeably better”
Pros
With remote collaboration, this platform has become pretty much essential for our team. It makes planning projects and tackling the work much simpler for everyone involved.
Cons
The site can be a little slow to load at first even though it runs really well after that and navigating more complex boards can sometimes be a bit tricky.

“Task tracking stood out nicely”
Pros
This feels like the most user friendly to do list out there. There's basically no learning curve because everything is so clear and self-explanatory.
Cons
I honestly have not run into any downsides. It has turned out to be a very reliable and powerful option.

“Daily tracking worked fantastically well”
Pros
During my internship, Monday.com became my go-to tool for keeping up with daily tasks. It was incredibly useful day to day and I'd definitely use it again without hesitation.
Cons
If I had to point out anything, it would probably be the pricing but that's really the only downside. I genuinely love the software, it's very simple to use and I'd absolutely recommend it.

“Visibility worked across all departments”
Pros
Running this every day across a team of 50+ people, it does a really good job of keeping ongoing projects organized through different stages. It gives us a detailed view of what's happening and the reporting tools are especially useful when we need a bigger-picture snapshot. We also moved data over from another management system successfully, though it's worth reviewing everything afterward since some information didn't transfer fully or with complete accuracy.
Cons
The reporting and dashboard tools are definitely useful but a few reports have still been tricky to generate. The timeline feature sounds helpful on paper, yet the actual view is hard to read and really needs a better zoom-out option so longer timeframes and multiple projects can be seen more clearly.

“Task tracking stayed refreshingly clean”
Pros
Keeping work organized in it is very easy. The interface looks amazing, task management is really strong and it's simple to manage day to day use. On top of that the support team and overall feature set have been excellent.
Cons
As per me the biggest downside is the cost once your team gets larger. It can also feel a bit slow at times the frequent updates can be disruptive and the activity log limits on the lowest plan are restrictive.

“Teamwork happened across all departments”
Pros
Working with a team on this platform feels very natural and it really helps when it comes to solving problems together. It also makes it simple to turn work into data-driven results which is a big plus.
Cons
One downside is that accessibility could be much better and the interface isn't always clear or well organized so navigating it can be frustrating at times.

“automation saved hours”
Pros
Right away the clean, modern and colorful design made Monday.com feel really appealing to use. The automations have been incredibly helpful and save a lot of time. Different teams across our company use it for completely different needs and it adapts really well to all of them. It's also nice that you can add attachments, links, statuses, dropdowns and individual sub-item due dates with notifications, plus see who has viewed their notifications or boards.
Cons
The only thing I have been wanting is a way to set rules that prevent someone from changing a Status unless another column has been completed a certain way. For example, it would be helpful if they couldn't mark something as Complete unless a required document had been attached in another column. Other than that, I really have not run into any real problems with it.
