The app is very easy to use and the tools themselves are simple to work with. The available templates can be customized and there are plenty of project view options to add which makes the platform very appealing overall.

I only used the software for a short time since I was part of just one project that relied on it so I did not have much reason to keep using it afterward. Like a lot of similar platforms, the part I liked least was that the free version which is the one I used, offered nowhere near as much as the paid plans. From what I could tell, the paid versions include a lot more and if I need project management software again in the future, this would definitely be near the top of my list.

After using it for project and task management for quite some time, I can say it's very easy to work with even when new team members join. One thing I really appreciate is how flexible it is since I can customize the workflows however I need.

Cons

A few useful features are locked behind the higher-tier plans which can feel a bit restrictive at times. Aside from that it has been the best tool for the job.

A really strong task management platform with a clean, simple layout and plenty of customization. I used it with a team of partner managers to coordinate projects and make sure our partners were properly supported.

Cons

The pricing structure felt a bit awkward at first. When we were testing it, the per-seat model was fairly complex and came with a three-user minimum. After the whole team started using it, that stopped being much of an issue.

One thing I'd really like to see is an undo button you can click right away. I know the activity log lets you check what was changed but having a quick undo option would be much more convenient.

Our team's workflow looks completely different now thanks to monday.com. The visual boards are actually enjoyable to work in, with color-coded statuses, drag and drop task cards and the flexibility to move between Kanban, Gantt and list views without losing anything along the way. Task management is where it really delivers because assigning owners, adding deadlines and keeping update threads right on each task has noticeably reduced all the email back and forth. The automations deserve a mention too as once I created a rule to alert the team whenever a task was marked as stuck, it handled itself from there. On top of that customer support got back to me quickly when I had onboarding questions and the help documentation was clear enough to actually be useful.

Cons

Scaling up gets expensive pretty quickly and that can be tough for smaller teams to justify. The free plan is also limited enough that it's hard to get a proper feel for the platform before committing. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to process management as well because setting up multi-board workflows with dependencies and linked items felt awkward and not very user friendly at first. I also ran into a few bugs where automations either triggered twice or didn't run at all, although those issues seemed to sort themselves out after a day. Another challenge is that new users can easily overbuild their boards early on so if onboarding isn't handled well, adoption can slow down.

Compared with tools like Jira, this dev platform seems far easier to use. It's a lot less convoluted and doesn't feel nearly as restrictive.

The app still needs improvement since it performs better in the browser. That said I am not a fan of relying on the web version because it just creates more tab clutter for me. It also feels a bit pricey and I do catch myself wondering from time to time whether it's really worth the cost.

At the same time that same flexibility can occasionally become a downside. Some views, such as Gantt charts or dashboards, being locked behind higher-tier plans can feel restrictive as well. And although the interface looks good, it can start to feel slow or a bit heavy when boards become large or overloaded with automations. In the end it is a powerful platform but it works best when it's set up thoughtfully and maintained consistently over time.

It has been a really worthwhile option for project management and team collaboration especially for the price. Getting started with it is easy and the interface is simple to navigate. It also includes all the features I need and after using it in a couple of different workplaces, it has consistently made things run more efficiently.

I don't have any complaints about it. Some users might be looking for additional features or more advanced support but it already gives me everything I need.

Out of all the tools I have tried this has been the best one for keeping my personal checklists organized while also assigning tasks to other people on my team. I have been using it since 2022 and honestly haven't felt the need to look at alternatives because the interface is so clean and it's very simple to set up and work with every day.

One thing I'd really like to see is an integration with email and calendar that can suggest tasks based on what's already there. Right now, having to manually add those items into the platform creates an extra step in my daily workflow.

To me the biggest strengths here is how incredibly flexible the platform is. At times though I notice that some basic user friendly features that would be really helpful are missing. For example, last week I added auto-assigned item numbers to a board and wished there were a simple or automatic way for sub-items to be numbered as fractions of the parent item, like if the parent is 15, the sub-items would automatically become 15.1, 15.2, 15.3 and so on.

That said the amount of customization available can make the initial setup feel a bit overwhelming for new users especially when it takes time to understand how to use all of the features effectively. When you are juggling lots of words, numbers, people and moving parts, design makes a real difference. It has also been really valuable having our whole team aligned in one place. The downside is how many add-ons require extra purchase, along with the cost that comes with them. It would be helpful if those prices were lowered especially for organizations already using the nonprofit plan. Those added views and features could make a big difference for our team but with the size of our organization they push us completely out of budget.

One of the best parts of it is how flexible and customizable it is. We've been able to shape workflows around the way our teams actually operate in areas like operations, accounting, HR and insurance, instead of trying to fit into a complex setup.
