Monday.com's customization feature is a standout advantage offering an extensive range of templates to adapt to our organization's evolving demands. Paired with automations it becomes a powerful project management tool for our decentralized team handling both short- and long-term projects. Utilizing boards and Gantt charts we monitor team members' progress on individual tasks and broader milestones. Assigning tasks real-time communication and witnessing projects transition from "in progress" to "done" are immensely satisfying for everyone involved.
Cons
There are occasional failures with status updates and automation and the text widgets on boards designed to save automatically often require redoing notes/updates. Linking and coordinating can be challenging for complex projects with large dependencies. Although panels offer a partial remedy this aspect of the solution appears incomplete and awkward.
