Packed with features, monday.com can be adapted to just about anything. It does feel a little overwhelming At first but once you understand how it works, it becomes a really strong tool for managing tasks, projects and team communication.

Cons

With so many capabilities built in, it can be tricky to use without making things more complicated than they need to be. It's pretty easy to get stuck in the admin side of managing tasks instead of actually getting the work done which is a bit ironic for a productivity tool. It's also fairly expensive.

It fits most small businesses really well and getting everything up and running is fast with a simple setup.

Since I was completely new to it, I had to spend time reading through the features and learning how to tailor it properly for my specific niche.

At first a few features seemed a little too basic, almost like a simplified first-grade version of Excel. After spending more time with it, though, I realized the interface can be customized enough that it no longer feels that way.

One thing that worked really well was being able to share tasks with teammates and keep everyone aligned. It was also helpful to add status notes for project completion which made tracking progress much clearer.

The part I wasn't into was the dashboard design. Visually, it just didn't feel very appealing or pleasant to look at.

The visual design and interface stood out in a good way. Everything seems clean and well organized so it's simple to locate what you need without wasting time. Getting started is also not a hassle since deployment doesn't take much effort or training. Another big plus is the integrations especially with Slack, Google Drive and Teams.

To me the free plan seems pretty limited and to really take full advantage of everything the software offers, you'll need to upgrade.

Monday.com is a user friendly tool and the setup process felt simple from the beginning. It doesn't take much effort to understand how to organize a project and I have used it to keep up with daily tasks, one-time projects event planning and more.

Its service isn't always perfect every single time and the pricing is on the expensive side.

Browsing through the template library was a highlight because there were so many options to choose from. I ended up taking one of the existing templates that already covered most of what I needed and customizing it from there which worked really well.

Cons

The only downside for me was the price. I understand it offers great value for what's included but as a small business, it still felt a little beyond what I am comfortable spending.
