“excellent for team coordination”
Pros
Handling work across large teams, multiple departments and different boards has been fantastic with Monday.com. The platform stays reliably available and bringing new team members up to speed is very simple. I'd definitely recommend it.
Cons
Some customizations take a little longer to configure than they do in a few other tools but once everything is set up, it works really well.

“Project tracking with clear status colors”
Pros
Keeping tabs on project progress is really simple especially when working alongside other team members. The option to color-code statuses is also really helpful and makes everything easier to follow at a glance.
Cons
Getting notifications every single time someone comments in a group thread can become pretty frustrating and tiring after a while.

“fantastic for cross-team work”
Pros
Monday has been fantastic for collaborating across departments. Teams like IT and Merchandising can work side by side on initiatives that really need both of our skill sets and it does a terrific job of bringing everyone together in one place.
Cons
One thing I'm not crazy about is having fewer permissions than I do in the project management tool my own department uses. Lol. That said I get the reasoning behind it. The project admin only really needs my input on certain parts and it's probably better that I can't make changes that aren't necessary or add extra context that could create confusion. In the end, it actually helps keep the project organized and moving in the right direction.

“Fast support”
Pros
Monday.com lets us handle just about everything in one place. We use it to keep up with renewals, purchasing, financials and more. The platform is very user-friendly and simple to manage. I also haven't run into bugs or system issues while using it. Whenever I've needed assistance, customer support has been quick to respond and very helpful.
Cons
The part I liked least was being able to see other properties' boards across the company. At the beginning, that made the platform feel pretty confusing until I became more familiar with how to navigate it.

“solid boards and sharing”
Pros
The interface and boards are really pleasant to work with. Sharing and export features are excellent and the pricing feels like very good value for a project management tool. It's also useful that you can work with formulas.
Cons
At the same time, monday.com doesn't feel like the absolute best option out there and there are definitely stronger alternatives. The graphics are fine though and overall I still honestly like the product.

“powerful reporting and tracking”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits for us was being able to build more reports and keep track of new metrics that our accounting system simply could not handle accurately.
Cons
The hardest part was getting everything set up. There was a lot of customization involved and it took quite a while before we were fully up and running with the product.

“Visual project tracking win”
Pros
The biggest plus with Monday.com was how visual and simple the whole platform felt. It kept projects organized, made communication clearer and let me quickly see the status of everything at a glance.
Cons
One thing that bothered me about Monday.com was the amount of upkeep it needed to remain useful. It's definitely a powerful platform but if the boards weren't being constantly updated and kept organized, things got overwhelming pretty quickly. As more projects were added, it started to feel cluttered and repetitive especially when trying to tailor workflows around construction timelines that keep changing. At times, it felt like I was managing the software more than the software was managing the actual work. The automation features helped but they still took a lot of setup to get right. In the end, it didn't feel as organized or simple for everyday use as I needed it to be.

“fantastic for event tracking”
Pros
Running our event management work through Monday.com every day has been really helpful. The platform is very user-friendly and the reporting area is simple to navigate and simple to understand.
Cons
One thing that wasn't ideal with this platform was having to enter everything manually and it also didn't integrate with our main booking system.

Pros
After getting everything configured, the platform was pretty simple to navigate and use. The color-coding is a nice touch and the automation triggers are really helpful.
Cons
Getting started wasn't very simple. At times, setting up triggers or even certain columns felt more complicated than it should have been.

“Clean design and strong flexibility”
Pros
Right away, monday.com stands out for its simple layout, polished visual design, simple navigation and the ability to customize it to fit different workflows.
Cons
That said making those customizations could be more simple and certain parts of the platform still feel a bit rigid especially when compared with a tool like Notion.

“clean interface, clumsy extras”
Pros
Monday.com has a clean, polished interface that makes the portal easier to understand and the automation tools and templates do a good job of cutting down setup time.
Cons
At the same time some features feel more complicated than they need to be and even basic things like reporting and time tracking require paid add-ons. The mobile app is also a bit buggy.

“custom boards and clean workflow”
Pros
Monday.com gives a lot of flexibility with its boards and the automation features work really well. The interface is clean too which makes task tracking and sprint planning feel much less chaotic.
Cons
Once the boards get too large, the interface starts to feel sluggish and load times go up. The mobile app also isn't as well optimized as the web version.

“quick setup and handy automations”
Pros
Getting started with Monday.com was simple and the onboarding process felt simple and user-friendly. The colorful interface is also a nice touch if that style appeals to you and being able to build automations without needing any code is definitely a useful feature.
Cons
At the same time, the overall user experience feels a lot like other tools in this space. Monday.com seems like it had the chance to do something more original but instead it comes across as imitating what's already out there. That may be because it's trying to cover too many use cases for too many different types of users.

Pros
Right away, the interface feels clean and simple to navigate. The boards are also extremely customizable, with options for colors, statuses, labels and dates that make it easy to tailor everything to different workflows.
Cons
A few of the more advanced features are only available on paid plans. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the start since the number of available options can feel overwhelming initially.

“fantastic support every time”
Pros
One of the best parts of using Monday.com has been the customer support. The platform is very simple to use and whenever a bug or issue came up, the support team actually fixed it instead of just giving generic answers. As a client, I've felt really well taken care of and supported throughout.
Cons

“organized boards and smart automations”
Pros
Keeping multiple projects active in Monday.com feels really manageable because everything stays well organized. The automation tools do a lot of the heavy lifting so it's much harder for tasks or updates to slip through the cracks. Since my company works across a lot of locations, having separate boards for different teams or needs has been incredibly helpful. I also appreciate the different pages available, including ones where you can jot down freehand notes. There are a lot of useful options built in. Support is quick to respond although I've barely needed it because the platform is so simple to use. I also haven't experienced any major bugs or serious issues. They keep updating and improving the system which makes sticking with it an obvious decision. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. For what you get, the cost feels completely justified and the low monthly or yearly pricing makes it a smart pick for companies of any size.
Cons
One thing that can happen with Monday.com is that, once you create a lot of boards, it may get a little harder to keep everything straight. At first, the setup can feel somewhat disconnected until you understand how to link pages and boards together properly. Another early frustration during implementation is getting the notification settings adjusted the right way for your workflow. If you leave the default setup unchanged, it's very easy to end up overwhelmed by constant email and app notifications which can become distracting. The good part is that this is fixable once you take the time to customize it.
