“powerful automations and integrations”
Pros
Once you spend some time exploring the platform, Monday.com starts to show just how capable it is especially through its integrations and built-in automations. Those features make it possible to build advanced workflows and create cross-functional processes that can support several teams and departments across the company.
Cons
That said the complexity of the platform is a real obstacle for anyone who doesn't already have experience with it. We mainly use it for project management and getting the setup right would have been almost impossible without outside help. The interface also isn't very simple so the learning curve feels steep and demands a significant investment of time.

“effective planning and scheduling”
Pros
Planning and scheduling with this product works really well and getting it up and running was simple. It's also been very effective for managing workflows and keeping processes organized.
Cons
The customization options feel somewhat limited. The templates that come with the software can't always be adjusted enough to match specific user needs.

“simple and clear for work”
Pros
Using Monday.com at work has been really helpful because it's simple to use which makes tasks clearer and the workflow much easier to manage.
Cons
For personal use, I'd still lean toward open-source alternatives. I mainly use Monday.com because it's required for my job and it's not something I would choose for myself outside of work.

“crm flexibility boosts productivity”
Pros
The way the system is set up helps improve productivity fairly quickly. On top of that, it's impressive how much you can handle in it from a CRM standpoint.
Cons
Getting team members up to speed was challenging especially those who had never gone through a transition from HubSpot to Monday before.

“clear tasks, better teamwork”
Pros
Right away, it was simple to see all my tasks and know exactly what needed to be done. The layout feels clear and well organized which makes everything easier to follow. It really helps the whole team stay aligned and on the same page.
Cons
At times, it can seem a little overloaded with colors or too many options but after getting familiar with it, it becomes very useful.

“colorful project tracking clarity”
Pros
The interface on this platform was a real highlight for me and the bright colors made it simple to quickly see the status of projects and who was responsible for each task within them.
Cons
Getting around often took more clicking than I expected and for most tasks it felt like too many steps just to reach the section I needed.

“well-organized dashboard view”
Pros
Having everything organized in Monday.com was a big plus for me especially the dashboard that lets me see all of my tasks in one place.
Cons
Switching back and forth between so many tasks and keeping them updated for different teams feels tedious. It could definitely be a bit more user-friendly.

“clear interface and powerful automations”
Pros
Right away, the simplicity of the platform and the clarity of the interface really stood out to me. It's very easy to customize everything based on your needs and the board and timeline views are excellent for keeping track of progress. I also really appreciate the automations because they save a huge amount of time.
Cons
At times some of the more advanced features need a bit of setup at the beginning. Also, the free version feels a little limited if you want to collaborate as a team.

“color-coded boards keep teams aligned”
Pros
Everything feels visually organized and simple to track. The color-coded boards and customizable views made it simple to see project progress at a glance and stay in sync with the rest of the team. It also cut down a lot on extra catch-ups and back-and-forth emails.
Cons
Getting started was a little overwhelming since there are so many features and customization options available. It took a bit of time to fully figure out how the dashboard works.

“good value and customization”
Pros
One thing that really works in Monday.com's favor is the value for money. It can be tailored to fit just about any industry, company setup or project style you're working with which makes it very flexible. The customer support is also excellent. The only downside on the positive side is that when you're on the free plan, it can feel a little pushy with how often it encourages you to upgrade to a paid version.
Cons
Even with all its strong features especially the customization options, I never really got fully comfortable using it. After spending years working in Jira and Asana, Monday.com didn't give me enough of an advantage to pull me away from those tools.

“client management made simple”
Pros
Using Monday.com has been one of the better parts of our workflow because the site is very simple to use and it really helps us stay on top of client management and other tasks.
Cons
The downside is that the platform has occasional bugs and random issues from time to time and the customer support team can be a bit slow to respond.

“marketing workflow in one place”
Pros
Our marketing team uses Monday.com to keep planning, execution and billing for ad campaigns all in one place which has made things much more organized. It also cuts down on back-and-forth emails and helps prevent important messages from getting lost.
Cons
One thing that gets annoying is that Monday.com sends too many promotional emails. Since I'm already an active user of the software, those extra advertisements really aren't necessary.

“fantastic team collaboration hub”
Pros
Keeping tasks organized in Monday feels really simple and since we work across several teams and departments, everyone can collaborate in one place and stay on top of their workload.
Cons
My only complaint with Monday is that it doesn't offer as much AI functionality as I'd want. It has automations but AI is definitely an area they should keep building out.

Pros
Getting started with it felt very natural and our team picked it up fast without much effort. Since it's cloud-based, I can access it from anywhere which is especially helpful when I'm out and about.
Cons
Offline access is pretty limited so it becomes a challenge when I'm on a plane or in a place where I don't have internet or mobile data.

“clean UI and helpful automation”
Pros
Managing work is simple with Monday.com. The interface looks good, staying organized is simple, the automation saves time on repetitive tasks and the overall feature set is solid. Their customer support has also been very helpful when needed.
Cons
We ran into quite a few problems during implementation, including some bugs. At the same time, a number of those issues came from user mistakes that probably could have been prevented with better setup and guidance.

“all project plans in one place”
Pros
Monday.com works really well for project management especially for spreadsheet-style action planning and keeping every plan and update together in one place. The support feature was also very helpful when I used it.
Cons
There wasn't really anything wrong with it. It was simple to use but I did need to ask for a few top tips so they could do more to highlight the support feature and the how-to videos.

“organized teamwork and smart automations”
Pros
Everything feels neatly arranged on this platform which makes task management much more manageable. The color coding, automations and team collaboration tools turned it into a really valuable system for running our insurance business. And honestly, the Llama farm always makes me smile.
Cons
The biggest downside was the lack of a per-seat pricing option. It's either 5 seats or 10 and with 6 people on our team needing access, paying for 10 just didn't make financial sense. I also wish it connected with the AMS we use because that would have made it even better.

“powerful automations and flexible workflows”
Pros
Right away, the interface felt simple and very user-friendly. The visual layout makes it simple to keep track of projects at a glance which has been really helpful for our team. The automation tools save a lot of time and the customizable workflows let us shape monday.com around exactly how we work. It also connects well with other tools we rely on, like Slack and Google Drive.
Cons
Setting up more advanced automations or complex boards can take a little time to learn at first but after using it for a bit, it starts to feel natural. I'd also love to see some of the premium features included in the lower-tier plans.
