simplicity stands out

Pros

The simplicity here is just incredible. Nothing feels unnecessarily complicated. Every screen and feature is designed with clarity in mind so I can focus on the task instead of figuring out the tool. Whether I'm running reports, managing users or adjusting settings, it all flows naturally without any friction. It's one of those rare platforms that just gets out of your way and lets you work.

Cons

The API calls use Field IDs and Table IDs instead of actual names which makes it harder to quickly identify what we're working with. We end up having to maintain a separate mapping sheet just to keep track of everything which adds extra work.

No coding knowledge required

Pros

I can build apps without any coding knowledge which is fantastic. The drag-and-drop functionality and pre-made templates are real time-savers. Integration with other tools works smoothly and as someone new to this the learning curve was pretty manageable.

Cons

I believe the cost is pretty high especially if you're running a smaller operation. Also When you need more advanced customization it gets tricky and you really need to know your way around the system.

Pros

The biggest advantage for us has been how reliable and fast it handles large datasets. Creating basic apps is simple and connecting data sources happens pretty easily. Our team relies on this daily for various work tasks and setup was smooth thanks to the native Salesforce integration that automatically refreshes client data. So basically a lot is good about this tool but unfortunately we might not be continuing here.,...

Cons

Customer support has been really disappointing. The self-serve options basically just point you to forums with outdated info that sends you down endless rabbit holes without solving anything. Email and phone support is okay but takes forever and they're clearly trying to push their paid services instead of actually helping. We got one hour of enablement through our success manager to set up a basic Google Sheet pipeline but when the builder couldn't figure it out, they just dumped us back to regular support. That definitely didn't make me confident about paying for more services. After three years with this platform, we're looking at other options since I don't think we're getting good value for what we're paying.

Pros

I appreciate how team members who aren't database-savvy can easily use the custom dashboards and generate reports. The interface feels familiar since it mirrors industry-standard tools like Microsoft Excel, making it simple for non-technical users to access the data they need.

Cons

The team seems to be focusing too much on AI features while basic functionality suffers. I consistently run into issues where form fields don't pull data from related tables smoothly. The automations feel clunky and the interface could be cleaner. I'd rather see them focus on fixing existing features through better regression testing instead of adding niche functionality.

Flexible system

Pros

So far I find this platform incredibly versatile. It adapts to whatever workflow I throw at it and handles different business scenarios really well.

Cons

Lack of built-in features means I have to build most things from scratch which takes more time than I'd like. I really wish there was automatic duplicate detection and merging functionality instead of having to create workarounds for everything.

Transformed our business processes for the most part

Pros

I've been able to organize so many of our business processes that used to require juggling multiple tools. Now I can collaborate with my team, create custom workflows and build detailed reports and dashboards all in one place.

Cons

The form builder really needs a UI refresh, they showed us a preview at Empower 2022 but still haven't rolled it out. Mobile experience is pretty lacking compared to desktop and there's not enough control over how things display on mobile devices.

Smooth set up

Pros

I rely on this tool every day for managing and processing data and it's been great for handling the massive amounts of information our product generates. The integration process was simple and I found the interface really well laid out. Getting everything set up and running was surprisingly smooth too.

Cons

I don't have many complaints about this platform. My main issue is with the user interface, the front-end could definitely use some work. While there's been noticeable improvement over recent months which I appreciate I still find myself getting lost in the dashboard sometimes.

incredible flexibility to expand

Pros

Starting small and building up has been amazing. I began with just a simple vendor table and now I'm running eight different processes in one app, plus managing six total applications for my whole department. The flexibility to expand based on what I actually need is incredible. Adding new functionality and notifications happens almost instantly and the integration capabilities make adapting to changes smooth and reliable. Deployment was surprisingly painless and I've barely needed to contact customer support.

Cons

When I use SSO I can't select someones nickname.. might be an Active Directory thing though. We have a guy named Robert who goes by Bill and it's frustrating since we rely on this tool heavily every day.

Responsive staff

Pros

Working with spreadsheets used to stress me out but this software has completely changed that experience. It is user-friendly and I actually find myself enjoying tasks that used to frustrate me. Whether I'm organizing work data or managing personal budgets, everything flows smoothly. When I do hit a snag, their support team is very responsive and helpful. That makes all the difference when you're not naturally tech-savvy like me.

Cons

effective No-Code Solution

Pros

I've been working with this platform since 2006 and it's been wonderful. What really stands out is how it combines the power of a true relational database with an interface that's actually approachable for non-technical folks. Over the years, I've built hundreds of applications, most starting from spreadsheets or from scratch, then easily handed them over to business users who could continue developing without any coding background. Unlike other "no-code" solutions that overpromise, this one actually delivers on making data tracking tools quickly. It perfectly fills that sweet spot between Excel's limitations and expensive custom development for those mid-complexity projects. Plus, you can still build completely custom HTML/JavaScript interfaces when needed. The pricing is really competitive compared to similar platforms too.

Cons

The interface could definitely use some work. There's way too much whitespace that makes it feel awkward and clunky. Being able to build a custom HTML interface from scratch does help make up for these issues though.

Helped me build my first app

Pros

Been using this for about 15 years now and it really filled a gap we couldn't find anywhere else, we looked at plenty of options! Coming from a social work background with zero database experience, I was amazed that I could actually build our first application with just a little help on the technical stuff. My team and I use it constantly, along with our international partners. Everything from data entry to uploads, reporting and working together just flows smoothly. It's been quite reliable for us all these years.

Cons

Nothing really bothers me about this platform. Honestly can't come up with any complaints!

adaptable tool

Pros

I appreciate how adaptable this platform is for adjusting to specific requirements. After getting your application set up and running, incorporating new features, options and reports becomes uncomplicated. Cons

You need some coding experience to really make the Pipelines features work right and get the full value from them. Once you understand how everything works under the hood though figuring out what you want becomes pretty simple.

Pros

Files are crystal clear and updating them is not hard. I really appreciate how quick and simple everything is.

Cons

Setup process locks you in. Once you configure sections there's no way to remove the ones you don't need anymore. Plus for a small business like ours the pricing is really hard to justify.

Love the dashboard feature

Pros

The dashboard feature is so good. Preparing multiple reports is much simpler now and I can pull data from other applications using filters and pipelines without any difficulty. Quick access to information and the sorting capabilities make this exactly what I needed for my workflow.

Cons

I sometimes struggle with integrating this platform with other applications I'm currently using. For example I use a cloud ERP system with SQL and connecting it has been challenging.

exceptional customer service

Pros

I've been working with this platform for six years now after our VP of Operations initially set it up. Learning everything through their University program was simple and I've managed to build and maintain around twelve apps since then. It's definitely more convenient than older database systems like Oracle. The customer service and support teams have been really exceptional whenever I've needed help.

Cons

Customization options can be pretty limiting. You can't always tweak apps, fields and reports the way you'd want. Since we're in construction and some of our folks aren't super tech-savvy, they have specific ideas about how things should work but it's not always doable. We've also run into some headaches with table relationships not integrating quite right though most issues can be worked around somehow. The newer UI updates have made things less user-friendly than before which makes it a bit complex. This is especially tough for people with limited computer skills who get comfortable with the setup, then suddenly everything changes on them.

Love how this tool makes handling massive datasets so much simpler while giving me better control over everything. Getting it set up with my existing projects was simple. Cons
