“Everything can be customized”
Pros
Everything can be customized nicely and having communication in one place is something I really love. There's no need to create separate community groups or keep chatting across different platforms anymore.
Cons
Someone using it for the first time may feel a bit confused about how to join a channel or start a chat.

“Nice-looking interface”
Pros
It feels very simple, with real-time messaging that keeps conversations moving and a really nice-looking interface.
Cons
it still lacks stronger support for meetings so we still rely on Teams or Skype for that. It would be much better if that feature were added.

“helps me avoid using cell phone”
Pros
Being able to message my team right away about customer issues is a huge plus. I can keep conversations organized with different channels for different topics, coordinate with other teams on separate projects and jump into a huddle or call quickly when something starts going sideways. It also helps avoid using personal cell phones which is much better for privacy.
Cons
There's not much to complain about. Once in a while, my notification settings or a few software integrations get reset but aside from that, it does exactly what I need it to do.

“Professional space to discuss business”
Pros
Our team needed a more professional space to talk through business topics and this platform turned out to be a big help. The channel setup makes it simple to separate conversations by category so discussions stay organized instead of turning into one crowded group chat. That structure kept things from getting confusing. I also really appreciated being able to make certain channels private which was useful when only specific people needed access. It fits professional work environments really well.
Cons
The tutorial was fairly hard to follow and because the platform can do so many different things, it takes some time to feel comfortable using it. Clearer onboarding, better explanations or more user-friendly graphics would make the experience much better for new users.

“cuts through the clutter”
Pros
It feels like a reliable app that cuts through the clutter you get with other messaging tools like Google, Facebook and regular text messages. It does a really good job of keeping communication more organized and separate.
Cons
I haven't noticed any option for video chatting or group conference calls.

“Saves me from having to send mails”
Pros
Keeping up with teammates is much simpler now since I no longer have to remember to send emails all the time. Sending a quick message to a group or channel is very convenient and it helps me stay updated on everything happening around the office especially when I'm away from my desk. I also really appreciate how well it integrates with other apps because it makes collaboration across different teams feel much more connected and efficient.
Cons
I no longer need to rely on remembering emails to communicate with my teammates. It's convenient to send messages to a group or channel and it also helps me stay informed about what's going on in the office which is especially useful when I'm on the move. On top of that, the integrations with other apps are a big plus and make working with different teams feel much more organized and efficient.

“helps deal with clients overseas”
Pros
After nearly seven months of using it, navigating the platform and staying connected with colleagues has been very simple especially when working with clients overseas. It also makes it much more convenient to track and monitor concerns since thread messages are available.
Cons
Even though I consider it one of the best tools out there, I'd still suggest adding video conferencing to the services it offers so work can be even more convenient and efficient.

“Lets me chat with interns and suppliers”
Pros
Keeping in touch is really convenient on this platform. I can chat with interns and attachees in our company and I'm also able to message or make voice calls with customers and suppliers in Malaysia and other places.
Cons

Pros
It is so userfriendly and it doesn't take long to learn how everything works. The highlight for me is how well it integrates with third-party software which makes it much more useful in day-to-day work.
Cons

“Packed with collaboration functions”
Pros
Getting up and running with it is pretty simple and having a mobile app helps a lot. It also comes with plenty of features and options that make collaborating directly inside the platform really convenient.
Cons
The automation side feels pretty limited though. Bringing clients on through guest accounts is still incredibly manual which can be frustrating.

“Top choice for team text communication”
Pros
It works really well with other apps and devices which makes it one of the best tools for team text communication across groups. On its own, it can also be used to create subchannels and that genuinely makes a difference when organizing conversations. I really enjoy being able to chat with coworkers I do not usually connect with every day or every week. It gives me a chance to learn something new and I appreciate how thoughtfully the platform supports that kind of interaction.
Cons
I do not really like how much our team depends on Slack for nearly everything we do.

“central place for communication”
Pros
it really works as a central place for communication, with chat, audio and video calls, file sharing and more all in one app. It is also very useful when you need to search for past conversations and retrieve messages quickly. Another big advantage is being able to stay signed in to multiple accounts on the same app and switch between them without any hassle.
Cons
The only downside is that some of its more advanced features can take a little time to understand during the first few weeks.

“Just what we needed”
Pros
Ever since our company shifted to remote work, we've been searching for a tool that could do more than just support collaboration. Slack has really helped our team stay connected, manage projects better and keep track of resources in one place. It's been especially useful for team communication and assigning internal tasks. Being able to set up different projects with separate teams keeps everything more organized and gives managers a clearer structure to work with.
Cons
At times, the threads can feel a bit cluttered and become somewhat complicated to navigate.

“Leader for team communication”
Pros
It really stands out as the leader for team text communication, mainly because it connects with so many other apps and tools. Just by using it, you can create subchannels that make a real difference in how teams collaborate. I also really enjoy our 6-week Donut chats when I haven't had a chance to speak with certain coworkers regularly. They give me a chance to learn something new and I appreciate how intentionally the platform supports that kind of interaction.
Cons
I'd still love to see built-in video conferencing added to the platform. It would be a major bonus if it were fully functional and let people connect more freely beyond the limited huddles option.

“good communication tool”
Pros
After a team fully adopts it, it turns into a really valuable communication tool. The search works well, channels can be organized around specific projects and there's a lot of flexibility in how communication and notification settings can be configured.
Cons
Slack's huddle feature still needs work. Screen sharing is basically not very useful because the annotation feature is too limited especially since annotations disappear after just a few seconds. There's also a bit of a learning curve for new employees who aren't used to using it as their main form of communication.

“Powerful collaboration with rich add-ons”
Pros
It leads the market partly because it got broad attention early on but mainly because it works really well for team collaboration. People can start using it without any real training since the basics are as simple as sending a text message. The biggest advantage though, is the huge range of add-on apps and bots that extend what the platform can do.
Cons
What could be better is how new messages are highlighted inside channels. It would also help if direct messages were made more noticeable since clearer highlighting there would improve usability.
