“Threads, pinned messages keep conversations organized”
Pros
Keeping conversations organized is one of the things I enjoy most here, thanks to features like threads, pinned messages and the option to react to every message with a sticker. I also prefer the stickers and emojis on this platform over what I've seen in other apps. The timely notifications are especially helpful because they make sure I don't miss important messages and can respond right away.
Cons
The only issue I run into is not being able to tell whether someone has already read my messages.

“Option to choose notification options”
Pros
Being able to join different channels is really useful and the option to choose notification preferences helps a lot. Pinned posts in each channel make important information quick to find, the search bar makes it simple to locate coworker conversations and reaction emojis on messages are a nice touch.
Cons
Support can be a bit slow whenever an issue comes up although problems are rare with this product since it's very reliable and honestly one of the best tools I use in my daily routine.

“Allows me to create multiple groups”
Pros
It has been a really effective way to keep remote teams connected. It lets us create multiple groups and each one can have its own separate conversations without things getting mixed up. Another big advantage is being able to add or remove people from discussions as needed without interrupting the flow or slowing anything down.
Cons
The way channels are shared outside the organization can be better. It would be more useful if creating channels and threads for collaboration worked more smoothly not just with internal team members but also with people from other organizations.

“Better than WhatsApp”
Pros
It is incredibly simple to use and keep organized and it comes packed with features that easily put it ahead of WhatsApp.
Cons
At times, mobile messages can arrive with a delay although it doesn't happen often. Also, when the app crashes, we don't have any backup option in place.

“Makes me feel connected to the team”
Pros
Instant communication with teammates and coworkers is the part I appreciate most especially in a remote work setup. It has genuinely made me feel more connected to the team than I ever did when working in person.
Cons
Calls with teammates can be a little laggy at times but that's really just me being extra picky.

“Can use it on phone and mobile”
Pros
I can use it just as well on my phone as on my computer. The calendar integration is also a big plus because it keeps me updated on my daily meetings and tasks without extra effort. I also appreciate that my status updates automatically based on what's on my calendar which makes it easier for everyone to see whether I'm available or busy. It's helpful being able to check which teammates are online at any given time and I like that you can create group chats for both work topics and more casual conversations. On top of that, the emoji selection is fun and being able to add custom emojis makes it even better.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't run into anything I dislike about the software. Up to this point, I haven't had any bad experience with the service at all.

“Useful Quip integration”
Pros
Beyond instant messaging, it comes with a wide range of integrations. The Quip integration has been especially useful because it keeps me updated whenever changes are made to my Quip pages. The channel and sub-channel setup also works better than in any other app I've used.
Cons
It still doesn't offer video conferencing and adding that would make it a complete all-in-one communication platform.

“Fits into workflow”
Pros
Right from the start, it fit into our workflow really well. It connects with just about every other app out there and it was very simple to get up and running. It keeps my team in constant communication, reduces the need for email and makes it quick to reach the right person exactly when needed.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. I haven't run into any issues with the software.

“Productive team communication”
Pros
It has been a really user-friendly way to communicate with anyone across the company, no matter where people are based. Whether we're in the office or working remotely, it keeps everyone connected and helps us stay productive. The direct messaging and group chat features work really well and adding a few useful third-party integrations has made it even more valuable for our team.
Cons
it can be hard to relocate recent messages. I'm someone who prefers to keep notifications cleared out so I'll often open a message, read it and then get pulled into something else. After that, I sometimes forget where the latest message was sent from and there isn't a way to see all messages in one place sorted by date. That would be incredibly helpful and is probably my biggest issue with the platform.

“Helpful for my role”
Pros
Being able to talk with the team in real time is the part I value most. It's especially helpful in my role, where we need a lightweight app for messaging while we're in meetings and handling other work at the same time.
Cons
Managing multiple email addresses and workspaces can be a little confusing and I often end up needing the app open on different devices when I have to keep an eye on threads in several places.

“Nice integration with GitLab”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how flexible it is with integrations. I connected GitLab to it and now I receive an alert every time I push something there which has been really useful.
Cons
There's only one thing that bothers me: whenever I get invited to join a group, it shows a "create account" button instead of a "join group" button. That part should definitely be fixed.

“daily team engagement visibility”
Pros
Keeping up with how engaged my team is across the channels has been really valuable and it gives me a reliable way to stay in touch with everyone every day.

Pros
Getting started with it was quick and I can use either the desktop app or the web version depending on what works best. Messages arrive almost instantly, it's simple to stay on top of conversations and sending files is quick and hassle-free.
Cons

“Third-party integrations with Outlook, Zoom and Box”
Pros
After using it for several years, it has fully replaced Teams for us and we've been really pleased with the functionality, support and consistent uptime. My favorite features are the built-in huddles, scheduled message delays, reminders, third-party integrations like Outlook, Zoom and Box and all the different ways it helps organize channels through workspaces, starring, groups and more.
Cons
Honestly, I can't say I've run into any real issues with it. If there's one area I'd still like to see improved, it would be the search functionality.

“Cuts out repeated login steps”
Pros
Having LinkedIn sign-in built in is really convenient because it cuts out a lot of repeated login steps and makes it easier to connect with people. Another big advantage is that it works across desktop android and iOS so everyone at my company can stay in touch no matter which device they use. On top of that, it connects well with other services like Dropbox, Google Drive and GitHub. The free plan is also useful since it lets teams keep up to 10,000 exchanged messages, includes 5GB of storage and supports connections with up to 5 additional services.
Cons
Message storage is only available for a limited period and you have to move to a paid version to unlock more features. Because of that, the free plan feels fairly restrictive and not very suitable if you need to store information for the long term.
