“Easy to separate conversations by project”
Pros
It keeps team communication organized and efficient. Using channels makes it simple to separate conversations by project and the integrations with other tools make everyday work flow better.
Cons
When there are too many channels and notifications, it can get distracting if it is not managed well. A few really useful features are also limited to the paid plans.

“Help us reach decisions faster”
Pros
Juggling several clients alongside internal work can get chaotic fast but Slack does a really good job of keeping conversations organized. Channels make it simple to separate campaigns and quick voice notes or huddles help us reach decisions much faster than dragging things out over long email threads. It also fits nicely with the other tools we already rely on which saves time when sharing documents or setting up small automations.
Cons
Channels start piling up too fast. If no one keeps things organized, notifications can become a bit overwhelming and it takes some occasional cleanup to get everything back under control.

“Amazing reminder feature”
Pros
Messaging people one-on-one or in groups is very convenient and the reminder feature for replying to specific threads has been genuinely useful. The integrations with other tools especially Jira, are also a big plus and make it work well with the rest of our workflow.
Cons
The biggest frustration is organization. I often get added to a lot of IT threads or groups that are not really relevant to me and they start to clutter things up. It would be nice to have a hide option so I could remove them from view without having to leave the group or thread entirely.

“Can set up case-specific channels”
Pros
Setting up case-specific channels works really well because doctors, coordinators and partners can share updates instantly and it helps keep everyone aligned during time-sensitive situations.
Cons
During really busy shifts, the flood of notifications can get overwhelming and there are times when bugs make me go back through messages twice just to be sure I did not miss anything important.

“Handy messaging for remote teams”
Pros
It works really well for chatting and sending instant messages to remote coworkers and people across different parts of the business. I also appreciate being able to set different statuses depending on how busy my workload is.
Cons
The background options feel a bit limited with only black or white. It would also be better if channels and groups were separated more clearly and the search bar could use some improvement when trying to find information.

“Lets users create channels”
Pros
This tool makes it really convenient to stay in touch with my coworkers during the workday. I also appreciate being able to set up channels to keep conversations organized by team or topic.
Cons
The search feature is a little complex. Also, once I've already read a message, it can be difficult to track it down again later.

“Excellent for tracking messages”
Pros
It keeps everything well organized so it's simple to track teammates, priorities and every message in one place. Whether the team is remote or working together in the same office, it really helps make communication more efficient.
Cons
Honestly, I didn't run into any meaningful downsides. It was user-friendly right away and quickly turned into an essential part of how our team works together.

“Glad with our decision”
Pros
Our nonprofit decided to go with it and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. I use Teams at work professionally so adapting to Slack was one of the simplest parts.
Cons
In the beginning, we weren't on the Pro plan so there were times when certain channels lost features or some messages disappeared.

“Amazing for quick team updates”
Pros
Keeping up with project progress and updates feels effortless with it. It's also really convenient for sending quick questions to the team and getting fast replies back.
Cons
Important messages get buried because there's so much happening at once. Some older users have a hard time finding the right chats, mostly because the sidebar feels crowded and noisy. The pre-made chats also seem unnecessary.

“Nice color options and emojis”
Pros
It does a really nice job with channels, they're simple to handle and make organizing conversations simple. The color options and emojis also add a fun touch which makes chats feel more personal and helps build a stronger sense of connection with coworkers.
Cons
At times, having so many channels and constant notifications can get a little overwhelming especially on busier days.

“Convenient mobile app”
Pros
I appreciate how well it connects with other platforms. The interface is very user-friendly which makes communication simple. Messaging is quick and dependable and being able to schedule messages or send files fast is really useful. Bugs almost never come up so it feels reliable overall and the pricing feels worth it for what you get. The mobile app is also solid and works very well on my phone.
Cons
Customer support is the weakest part. Response times are usually very slow and even after waiting, issues are not always handled efficiently. I've also run into a problem with scheduled messages where they occasionally bug out and never get sent.

“Polished UI”
Pros
Right away, it feels like one of the most polished and comfortable interfaces out there. I never really have to worry about missing anything because the notifications are consistently reliable. When I've sent support tickets before, I actually got a real response which makes a difference. Messaging one person or a whole team is very simple in the app. On top of that, file retention settings and file sharing are simple to handle and it feels like one of the more secure options available.
Cons
It’s a bit expensive especially since it usually comes as an added cost on top of the standard Google or Microsoft service suites.

“Notification overload and buried chats”
Pros
It is really good for real-time communication and connects nicely with a wide range of other tools. The search works well, sharing files is fast and channels at least help split up conversations in theory. It's especially useful when the team needs quick updates or fast back-and-forth discussions.
Cons
At the same time, it gets overwhelming very quickly. Between the nonstop pings, too many channels and constant notifications, staying focused becomes difficult. Important messages disappear almost right away and keeping channel clutter under control starts to feel like a job by itself. The app pulls your attention all day long and threads can get messy or hard to follow. If you need deep focus or more structured communication, it's not the best fit.

“Remote work made easy”
Pros
The interface is modern and easy to use. Keeping discussions sorted into dedicated channels makes a huge difference because everything stays organized and on topic instead of getting buried in a chaotic inbox. I really enjoy using Huddles for quick voice conversations since it lets us handle simple questions without setting up a full video meeting. The search tool is powerful too and it helps me pull up older files or comments almost instantly. On top of that, the huge range of integrations makes a massive impact. We've linked it with our project management platform and calendar which helps the team stay aligned and not miss anything important. Overall, it does a lot to make remote work feel more human, collaborative and connected.
Cons
it can become pretty noisy if notifications are not managed carefully. Constant alerts can be distracting very quickly unless you set limits for yourself or mute the busiest channels. Pricing is another drawback especially for larger teams using the business plans since it can feel expensive compared with some competitors that bundle similar tools together. The free plan also limits access to older message history after a while which is frustrating when you need to look back at something from a few months earlier and have not moved to a paid version.

“Free plan doesn’t come with customer support”
Pros
Our team connected our TrackVia account to it using Workato and that made it possible to automatically kick off a conversation in a specific channel whenever a record was added or updated in a TrackVia view. It also lets you launch a huddle right from that channel so channel members can jump into an audio or video call without much setup.
Cons
Free plan doesn't come with customer support so when something goes wrong, you're limited to using the Help Center to troubleshoot on your own.

“Saves us from a lot of effort”
Pros
Real-time communication is impressive. Channels kept everything neatly organized so finding a message or update was much simpler than digging through long email chains. Sharing files, quick questions and status updates was also fast and convenient. Overall, it helped our team stay connected and cut down on a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth.
Cons
With so many messages coming in, things could feel overwhelming sometimes. When multiple conversations were happening at once, it was pretty easy to miss something important. Notifications piled up quickly too and that occasionally made it harder to concentrate.

“Works nicely”
Pros
Everything works nicely alongside the tools our team already relies on so sharing files, linking tickets and jumping into quick calls can all happen from the same place. The layout is simple too which makes it easy for new team members to get comfortable with it fast.
Cons
From time to time, file uploads run into problems or notifications arrive later than they should. The mobile app also feels a bit heavy on older devices and if channels aren't organized properly, conversations can get noisy and hard to follow.

It has been very convenient to use. I really appreciated how accessible it was and sharing files with my colleagues at the office worked well for our daily communication.

Pros
Right from the start, it has felt worth the cost and very simple to use. It has helped us grow business communication by keeping everything centralized in one place. Sharing files is also very convenient and simple.
Cons
