“Useful reaction feature”
Pros
With a team that has a lot of moving parts and a few people working remotely, this has honestly been a lifesaver. As someone who isn't always on-site, it helps me stay connected and involved in what's going on. If I can't reach a coworker by phone, I can just send a quick message here instead. I also really appreciate being able to have multiple group channels along with personal messages. The reaction feature is especially useful because I can instantly see how many people have read and understood a group message.
Cons
The switch to using it was very simple for our company especially since we weren't really using anything like this before. I genuinely don't have any complaints about my experience with it. I'm able to upload photos, share documents, ask questions and handle everything I need to get done.

“Remote work feels natural”
Pros
Working with remote teams feels very natural on this platform because it's user-friendly and keeps communication organized. I've used it across several different organizations and it has consistently worked without any problems. It's also convenient to stay connected from anywhere, whether I'm on my computer or using my phone. Another big plus is how well it integrates with tools like Zapier and HubSpot so the team can get notified right away when something happens. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend it to any company.
Cons
At times, the video calling feature can be a bit slow but it hasn't been a major issue since most companies already rely on Zoom or Google Hangouts for video meetings anyway.

“Stores files”
Pros
Communication feels much more organized with this tool because conversations are grouped into different channels. It is incredibly useful for sending direct messages as well as creating group discussions. On top of that, files are stored and archived which makes going back and finding things very convenient. I also really appreciated how user-friendly it is and how simple it makes working with anyone across the organization. My favorite parts of the software are: 1.) having an unlimited number of public and private channels, 2.) being able to create forms that post directly into specific channels, 3.) using the /remind feature so I get notified about tasks that need to be completed or just a quick follow-up and 4.) the ability to personalize and have fun with it. For example, we have a "Jokes" channel where the Slack bot will crack jokes if you ask something like, "bot make me a dad joke," which is amazing.
Cons
Honestly, it is hard to come up with many downsides as a user but a few come to mind: 1.) having unlimited channels also means there is a high chance of getting constant notifications if someone @mentions you in one, 2.) it can become a little too addictive and you may catch yourself checking your company communication app after hours almost like it is social media. I also disliked that once a public group is created, you cannot switch it to private later. There were also times when messages would accidentally come through only on my phone and not on my desktop.

“Top notch prouctivity tool”
Pros
It has been one of the best productivity and communication tools my team relies on. The biggest advantage for us is how quickly and efficiently we can connect, along with being able to share updates with each other throughout the day.
Cons
Video feature can sometimes freeze or disconnect although it hasn't been a major issue since we don't use it very often.

“Team communication anywhere”
Pros
Working with teams spread across offices, remote setups and even different states is much easier with this in our business. It helps me stay in touch with everyone and keeps communication flowing really well among team members no matter where they are.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is having some kind of read receipt. Being able to tell when teammates have actually seen my message would help me stay updated on progress and know where things stand.

“Tons of features”
Pros
It comes with a lot of features and works as an excellent platform. One thing I really appreciate is being able to create different channels so information only goes to the specific group it's meant for.
Cons
Getting started with it isn't very simple and the interface doesn't feel especially user-friendly at first. I've also heard from several other users that it can feel a bit unwelcoming and tricky to begin using right away.

“Real-time help across teams”
Pros
It lets you stay in touch with colleagues in real time which is really helpful when you need support while working with customers from almost anywhere in the world.
Cons
A few of its features like phone calls and chats, feel pretty basic now since those are standard options in most tools.

“Work chat with handy channels”
Pros
Having multiple channels inside one workspace is really useful and it gives off a Discord-for-work kind of feel. It makes team communication easier to organize and keeps different conversations in their own place.
Cons
The interface feels very cluttered and really needs to be cleaned up. There's too much going on and it would be much better if they removed some features or made the layout simpler. I also really dislike that text messages disappear after 10,000 messages. I can understand limiting pictures or files but the text history should stay available.

“Loads quickly on desktop and mobile”
Pros
It feels very user-friendly and simple to use and the platform loads quickly on both desktop and mobile. Organizing conversations into different channels really helps keep communication separated by project. It also makes sharing files in various formats very convenient.
Cons
A feature I've always wished it had is the ability to schedule a meeting directly in the app. Unlike Teams or Skype, there isn't an option to set up a meeting there and that would be a really useful addition.

“Keeps business efficient”
Pros
Instant messaging with the team is really useful but the biggest benefit is the wide range of integrations that help keep the business more organized, efficient and productive.
Cons
With so many channels and conversations happening at once, it can start to feel overwhelming and a bit confusing. Even though everything is kept in one place now, tracking things down later isn't always simple. Some kind of tagging system would definitely help.

“Easy onboarding”
Pros
Getting people started on Slack is very simple which makes onboarding simple. The integrations add a lot of value and the newer huddle feature has been especially handy for quick chats when something needs to be sorted out fast.
Cons
The mobile app doesn't run as well as the web or desktop versions. On Android, notifications have occasionally gotten stuck for me and I also think the search and filtering could work better.

“solid collaboration and communication tool”
Pros
After two years of using it, it has become a really solid collaboration and communication tool for our team. The interface feels very user-friendly and it brings together chat, video, VoIP, calendars, appointments, activity tracking and project logs all in one place. I rely on it to stay updated on ongoing work and to communicate with co-workers through video, audio and private chat calls.
Cons
I continue to notice some bugs and occasional instability in the Android app.

“Bots are a nice touch”
Pros
It works really well when it comes to plugin integrations especially with tools like Gmail. The bots are also a nice touch, both for pulling useful information and adding a bit of fun to the workspace. On top of that, searching through conversations and channels is quick and efficient which makes it much easier to find past messages without wasting time.
Cons
The video conferencing side still feels like it could use some improvement. Also, the overall style seems a bit more geared toward a social-media-like experience rather than something fully focused on an enterprise environment.
