“Improves team communication”
Pros
It improves team communication and collaboration. It helps us stay connected through instant messaging, boosts our productivity and keeps conversations organized so discussions stay focused.
Cons
It is excellent overall but the number of alerts can sometimes get distracting. Other than that, I really don't have much to complain about.

“Sharing files is convenient”
Pros
This software makes team communication and coordination really simple. Sharing files with teammates and colleagues is very convenient and the user-friendly interface is one of the things that makes it stand out.
Cons
It's a very helpful tool. The only downside is that it can sometimes become distracting because of the high volume of messages and notifications.

“excellent for instant messaging”
Pros
Working with different project teams feels much more manageable with this tool. It's excellent for instant messaging and it has made remote work a lot more practical while helping keep everything organized.
Cons
Getting started can be a little confusing for beginners because the learning curve is somewhat steep but once that part is out of the way, using it becomes much more simple.

“Takes no time to reach teammates”
Pros
It keeps team communication moving with real-time messaging so it's quick to reach teammates and get responses right away. The channel-based setup helps keep discussions organized and focused instead of everything getting mixed together. It's also really useful that it connects with other tools like Google Drive, Jira and Outlook which makes day-to-day work much more connected.
Cons
number of notifications can get overwhelming and distracting at times. Another limitation is the free plan since older messages eventually become unavailable and that can be frustrating when trying to look back at past conversations.

“Love the instant notifications”
Pros
Real-time messaging and instant notifications help keep the whole team in sync. File sharing and collaboration work really well and the interface feels user-friendly so getting started doesn't take much effort. The integrations with tools like Google Drive, Zoom and Jira are a big plus and both the mobile and desktop apps have been reliable.
Cons
The constant notifications can become distracting at times. Searching for older messages could definitely work better and some of the more advanced features are only available on the paid plans.

“Team chat that keeps us synced”
Pros
Keeping up with the team is much simpler with this. The chat flows well, sharing files is fast and searching through older messages is really convenient. It does a solid job of keeping everyone connected and on the same page.
Cons
Notifications can get a little confusing at times and I've missed a few important messages because of that. On top of that, the mobile app feels a bit heavy and tends to drain the battery more than I'd like.

“Ability to bookmark chats”
Pros
Threaded conversations make discussions feel clear and organized and I also appreciate being able to bookmark chats and set up different channels for separate topics.
Cons
At times, it feels like it is trying to pack in too many things. Huddle comes off more as a distraction since it does not handle multi-user calls as well as Microsoft Teams. File sharing is fairly restrictive too especially with the limits on file size. I have never used the calendar feature because we already rely on Microsoft 365.

“Self-explanatory interface”
Pros
Jumping into a huddle with one or several teammates is really simple. It works in more ways than just basic conversation software and the interface is very self-explanatory so it doesn't take much effort to figure out.
Cons
By default, every bit of activity in a channel ends up sending a message to official email accounts which creates a lot of unnecessary inbox clutter. Custom notifications are available but the default setup isn't very helpful.

“Uncluttered layout”
Pros
The interface is really well designed and simple to move around in. I also like being able to organize channels and chats in a way that feels personal which makes everything less cluttered. It helps the whole team stay connected and work together much more effectively.
Cons
There honestly aren't any major downsides that come to mind. If anything, it would be nice to have more design options or themes but aside from that it works very well.

“Simple to connect with colleagues”
Pros
Its not overly complicated and everything is clear and readable. Once management has everyone's names and profiles set up in the system, it's quick to look up and connect with any colleague you need.
Cons
Honestly, nothing comes to mind. I've been using it with my company for the past year and haven't run into any issues at all.

“Quick information sharing”
Pros
Works really well as a team communication platform especially for real-time conversations and sharing information quickly. The channel setup helps keep different tasks and meetings organized which makes collaboration much more manageable. It's also user-friendly overall and having audio and video calling built in makes it even more useful for day-to-day work.
Cons
Without proper onboarding, sharing data through it can feel pretty confusing for new employees. To get the most out of it, companies really need to offer training and support so everyone understands how to use it effectively.

“Can customize it according to my needs”
Pros
Slack has been incredible overall. This is the third company I've been with that uses it for internal communication and there's a reason it keeps getting adopted. It's user-friendly and having the mobile app is a big plus because I can stay updated even when I'm away from my computer or on holiday and still need to check something work-related. Setting up and managing channels is simple. On a more personal note, I really enjoy how customizable it is, whether that's the app's color theme, the emojis I use most or the notification settings.
Cons
It can feel a bit overwhelming for people who are completely new to it. I noticed this especially with coworkers who hadn't used Slack before. Threads can also get buried pretty easily and mentions are sometimes missed in busy channels. If someone tags you in a high-traffic channel but the message isn't kept in a thread, there's a good chance the mention gets lost unless you go back and read through a lot of previous conversation.

Pros
I really appreciate the value it offers for the price. Compared to other software, it's very affordable and on top of that, it's very simple to use.

“Wonderful system for remote teamwork”
Pros
For years, this has been a fantastic way to keep everyone connected across a team especially in remote environments which is something I've always been part of. The integration options are excellent and it's very user-friendly.
Cons
It's very user-friendly to use and it works really well for sharing files, staying in touch and connecting with different apps. I don’t have any complaints.

“I use it daily”
Pros
It is the tool I rely on every day for both internal and external communication. It's very simple to use, connects with all the key tools in our tech stack and makes sharing information and keeping track of important things really convenient in one place.
Cons
At times, it can get a little cluttered with so many chats, groups and channels which makes older information harder to find after a while.

“Convenient for team communication”
Pros
Using it for team communication has been really convenient. Sending quick messages feels natural, it's simple to follow different conversations and sharing files doesn't take much effort. It also connects well with the other apps we already use for work which makes everything feel more organized.
Cons
Once a chat has a lot of people in it, things can start to feel a little cluttered and the number of notifications can be a bit much at times. Looking up older messages can also be frustrating when you don't remember the exact wording of what you're trying to find.

“Effective for student collaboration”
Pros
It has been an excellent option for student organizations and classes that need a place to work together as a team. It makes group conversations and one-on-one chats really convenient so sharing ideas, discussing plans and staying in touch with others feels very natural.
Cons
Account management could be better. If you're part of multiple groups, you have to set up separate accounts for each one instead of having a single place to manage everything.

“Simple to navigate”
Pros
It's been such a solid tool for communication. I first started using it at work and later ended up using it for my religious group too. It's simple to navigate, well organized and very user-friendly.
Cons
The part I've liked the least is how it works on mobile phones. It was a much better experience for me when I was using it on a laptop.

“Fun channels”
Pros
Keeping up with my teammates is really simple with it. Sending direct messages takes no time and daily communication with the team feels natural and smooth. I also enjoy browsing channels for lighter coworker interests, like the book club, while still staying updated on company-wide news through the general channels.
Cons
I'm not able to archive channels I no longer use in a way that makes them simple to find again later. More built-in organization such as subfolders or directories, would also make it much easier to keep everything in order.
