“Simple navigation menu”
Pros
Having multiple threads has been really useful and the job-specific folders help keep everything organized. The navigation menu is simple to follow too which makes the app simple to use.
Cons
I haven't been using it long enough to point out anything I dislike yet. At this stage, it just feels like a simple app.

“Well-structured tool”
Pros
A simple, well-organized tool for communicating with others, whether internally with the team or externally as well.
Cons
Once there are lots of chats and channels, keeping track of everything can get a bit tricky. Sometimes it takes a few extra clicks to find exactly what I'm looking for.

“Saves a lot of time”
Pros
It makes team communication feel really simple. Sharing files and updates happens fast and having everything organized in one place saves a lot of time.
Cons
At times it can get a bit distracting because there are just too many notifications coming in. On top of that, older messages can become harder to track down after a while.

“Helpful built-in shortcuts”
Pros
Pretty simple to use and it handles large groups of people really well. Private messaging is available too and there are plenty of built-in shortcuts that make the app more convenient to navigate. It also works across different devices without much trouble, whether that's a Mac, a Windows laptop, a mobile phone or even an iPad.
Cons
Can feel a bit overwhelming because of the constant flow of notifications and messages especially when they're coming in from multiple people or group chats at once.

“Smooth tool for chatting”
Pros
It has been a smooth tool for chatting, sharing files and collaborating. It connects with just about every other app we use in our tech stack. Honestly, I wouldn't want to use anything else when it comes to working remotely with my team.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints about it. Pretty much any time I've wondered whether it could handle something, it usually can. If I had to be extremely picky, the only thing I'd add is the ability to rearrange contacts in my list instead of having them fixed in alphabetical order.

“One-stop communication platform”
Pros
Across our company and even with external partners, this works as a one-stop communication platform. It brings together simple document sharing, quick channel creation and calendar integration in one place.
Cons
As the workspace grows, the app can start to feel slower. It also takes a bit of training and structure for teams to keep communication organized and flowing well.

“Recommended!”
Pros
It really stands out for the huge number of integrations you can add which makes instant messaging even better with things like file sharing, scheduling, calendar syncing and more. The customer support has also been excellent and the platform is very simple to use. On top of that, I haven't run into bugs or technical issues with it.
Cons
It's definitely not the most affordable option available but I still think it's worth the price. I'd recommend it anyway.

“Organized channels for teamwork”
Pros
Slack makes team communication feel really organized and simple. Having separate channels keeps discussions centered on specific topics or projects which helps a lot.

“Convenient for quick updates and file sharing”
Pros
This tool is built for team communication. Everything is organized into channels which makes it really convenient for quick updates, file sharing and just staying connected with everyone.
Cons
It can become a bit overwhelming pretty quickly. As soon as you step away for a while, it's very easy to miss something important and then you end up doing a lot of scrolling just to catch up.

“Better team chat flow”
Pros
Talking with my staff through it has been really helpful because it cuts down on the constant back-and-forth emails and makes communication feel much more direct.
Cons
I'd really like a way to save information to revisit later, kind of like flagging it. For example, being able to flag a thread and come back to it would be useful.

Pros
It keeps everything well organized with channels and threads and the integrations with tools like Google Drive and Jira make collaboration feel smooth. The overall experience also works really well on both desktop and mobile.

“Syncs with GitHub, Asana and Zoom”
Pros
Without a doubt, this is one of the best collaboration and team messaging platforms I've used. It lets me send direct messages to one person or message groups through channels which makes it simple to keep conversations organized and follow everything clearly. On top of that, sharing files is very convenient, whether it's documents, PDFs, audio or video files. Another big plus is how well it connects with other tools like GitHub, Asana and Zoom.
Cons
I don't have anything negative to say about it as a team messaging and collaboration tool. I'd definitely recommend it to others as well.
