“Well arranged interface”
Pros
It has been our primary communication and chat tool for the past five years and it has been very user-friendly the whole time. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it convenient to set up channels, message several people directly and even create polls without any hassle.
Cons
Haven't run into any major problems with it. The only issue I noticed for a while was a bug during huddles where the other person sometimes could not hear my voice.

“Works like a social network”
Pros
Connecting with teammates is really simple because all the features are there and it also works almost like a social network where you can join meetings and stay engaged. It feels like a complete platform since it includes everything we need to collaborate effectively.
Cons
It's a very solid program overall but I did run into some installation problems with the app on my Windows device. Beyond that, the software performs at the level it should especially when the PC can handle it.

“Handy free version”
Pros
Having a fully free version is a big plus. For a small project, it gives you one place to handle all your communication and stay connected without spending anything.
Cons
That said, the free plan reaches its limits pretty quickly especially with restrictions like how many people can be active at once and the file size cap.

“Checks all boxes”
Pros
It delivers on just about every front, with a really solid experience for everyday chatting and strong user management tools for admins. The ability to connect with other company workspaces is especially valuable when working with clients, vendors or other external partners and it feels like a must-have for collaboration.
Cons
A few important features, like single sign-on, are locked behind the higher-tier plans. Aside from that, everything else is generally fine.

“Solid integrations”
Pros
Working remotely, this has made collaborating with coworkers much better. Everything feels well organized and it connects really well with the other tools we use.
Cons
the sheer number of channels and messages gets overwhelming especially on bigger teams. Important details can disappear fast if they aren't pinned or bookmarked.

“Fits well into a shared team environment”
Pros
This product works well for team communication, is simple to get started with and runs across different devices. It also fits nicely into a shared team environment.
Cons
The feature set feels limited. It works as a communication tool but it doesn't really cover many other needs. The team offers a 3-month trial yet you can keep using it for free which makes it hard to see why anyone would pay for the pro version.

“Communication has improved thanks to Slack”
Pros
Communication across the team has improved a lot since using it. The interface is user-friendly and organizing discussions into channels makes it much simpler to keep departments and topics separate without everything getting mixed together. It also connects really well with tools such as Google Drive, Trello and Zoom so our team can manage work from one place instead of jumping between apps. Real-time messaging, file sharing and tagging specific teammates when something needs quick attention have made our workflow much more efficient. I also appreciate the customizable notifications because they help me stay informed without feeling flooded by updates. On top of that, private groups and direct messages give us the flexibility to handle confidential conversations or more focused project discussions.
Cons
It can start to feel overwhelming when it isn't managed carefully. Once there are too many channels and nonstop notifications, distractions build up fast and important messages can easily get lost in the noise. The search feature can also feel somewhat limited especially when trying to locate older messages or shared files if everything hasn't been organized well. It's also a fairly resource-heavy app which can cause slower performance on older computers or mobile devices. Another limitation is the free plan: while it includes a solid set of features, a lot of the more advanced options, like complete message history and extra integrations, are locked behind the paid version which may be a challenge for smaller teams or startups.

“Lets me send invites for meeting sessions”
Pros
It works really well as a communication hub especially when you need to separate conversations into different groups or channels. I also use it to share documents and send out invites for meeting sessions and it handles all of that nicely.
Cons
I haven't run into any major issues with it. Document sharing is quick as long as the files aren't too large although it can be a bit slow sometimes.

Pros
When it comes to communication tools, this one definitely belongs among the best. It's very simple to learn, simple to use and the pricing is quite affordable as well.

“Fewer emails, better teamwork”
Pros
Being able to message a client or teammate directly is probably the biggest benefit for me. I can send notes and files, jump on a quick voice call and stay on top of new activity without any hassle. One thing I especially appreciate is how much it cuts down my email inbox, there's far less clutter now and it's quick to catch up or search for something I may have missed. The integrations are also a huge plus since I use tools like Notion, Figma, Google and Linear every day and I really value being able to set custom notifications around the processes our team uses.
Cons
Inviting outside guests or other companies has definitely gotten better though it can still be a bit confusing for people who haven't used that setup before. It's a pretty minor issue overall and we usually sort it out the same day just by walking the person through it. I've been using Slack for more than five years and honestly, I can't think of any other real problems.

“Helpful for planning”
Pros
Working on projects with it has made planning much simpler and that gives me a lot more confidence because the results turn out really well. It's really helpful for sharing ideas through team collaboration especially when everyone is contributing to the same project. The interface is user-friendly which makes the platform more enjoyable to use and comfortable to work in. I'm also able to work from home with it and that has helped me stay more productive and useful throughout the day. Another part I really enjoy is the live chat with teams since it makes collaboration and idea-sharing happen quickly. Communication through Slack is simple and plays a key role in our projects which is exactly why I enjoy using it so much.
Cons
I don't have any dislikes about it and that's actually one of the things I appreciate most about working with this software.

“Perfect for internal and external communication”
Pros
It does a fantastic job of handling both internal conversations and external communication in one place. It makes it much easier to organize teams, split people into the right project groups and let specific employees collaborate directly with clients when needed.
Cons
There really aren't any major issues on my end. It can feel a little overwhelming when you first start using it but once you get comfortable finding your way around, it quickly becomes one of the most valuable tools you can have.

“Our team's communication hub”
Pros
It simply works, no matter which device or platform I'm using. Our whole team is on it all day long and it connects with several other apps and services we rely on. It's really become the central hub that holds everything together.
Cons
Lately, it does seem a bit more cluttered than before with so many new features being added. A few things also aren't always located where you'd naturally expect to find them.

“Lets you share links”
Pros
Keeping conversations inside channels makes everything much easier to track so topics stay in the right place instead of getting lost. It also connects well with other tools, lets you share links, jump into quick calls and even organize afterwork plans without needing to leave the app.
Cons
Once the number of channels starts piling up, it can turn noisy pretty quickly. At that point, it sometimes feels like more time goes into scrolling through messages than actually getting work done.

“Different channels for different topics”
Pros
The way it is organized really works well. It feels a lot like a group chat but you can also send private messages to people when something needs to be discussed separately. Having different channels for different topics and conversations is also really helpful.
Cons
I don't have many complaints about it. I'm still figuring out some of the features and the free version is a bit limiting which can be frustrating. I also wouldn't call it cheap since the pricing is per user but it still feels fairly reasonable.
