“Option to create plenty of channels”
Pros
Having the option to create plenty of channels makes communication much more organized and works really well for different topics or teams.
Cons
There's a lot happening in the interface so it can feel confusing at times. Notifications also don't always work the way they should.

“Our go-to team chat app”
Pros
Bringing it into our business has pretty much removed the need for any other communication platform.
Cons
Every now and then, it feels a little less user-friendly and it can be a bit too easy to open a message without realizing you hadn't actually seen it yet. This mostly seems to affect older users.

“Fun to use, highly customizable”
Pros
It has been one of the best communication platforms I've used for companies of any size. It's engaging, fun to use, highly customizable and includes pretty much everything you need in one place.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. The mobile app can feel a bit confusing to navigate sometimes but even then it's still better than most alternatives.

“Useful reminder feature”
Pros
Working with remote teams feels much simpler with this tool because we can message each other, share files and hold meetings with people in different locations without any hassle. The reminder feature is especially useful for keeping track of important meetings and tasks that need attention. Audio and video quality are excellent, with clear communication and no glitches during calls. It also integrates well with other services which makes daily work more connected. Small touches like emoji reactions help speed up approvals and make communication quicker.
Cons
It has been a very complete tool for me and I honestly do not have any negatives to point out.

“Connects with Jira and Confluence”
Pros
The interface feels simple to use and being able to connect tools like Jira, Confluence and Teams makes it really practical. Searching through conversations is simple and setting up groups doesn't take much effort.
Cons
Direct messages list can get too long and cluttered. It would help if the UI showed less information there or organized it in a cleaner way.

“Powerful instant messaging tool”
Pros
It has been the most powerful instant messaging tool I've used. A feature I really appreciate is the video conferencing they added late last year which lets me schedule and host online meetings right from the platform.
Cons
I honestly give the vendor a lot of credit because they've never fallen behind. The product has evolved enormously since I first implemented it.

“Instant huddles boost teamwork”
Pros
Being able to start a quick video call with anyone in a direct message or group chat is really useful. Slack's Huddle feature makes it much faster to talk through something important right away instead of dragging the conversation out through messages.
Cons
The Reply feature is one part of Slack that feels awkward. It could use an update to match the way most modern messaging apps handle replies, where it's clearly shown that your response is tied to a specific message. Right now, if you click Reply on a message and forget to check the "Display in thread" box, your response ends up attached to that message wherever it sits in the chat and starts a separate thread which makes it very easy for others to miss.
