“Channels keep discussions on track”
Pros
Everything feels really well organized, channels keep discussions on track and integrations with tools like Google Drive and Calendar help me keep up with work without having to leave the app.
Cons
It can get a little overwhelming when you're part of a lot of channels or multiple workspaces especially if notifications aren't set up carefully.

“User-friendly private team chats”
Pros
it felt very user-friendly to use and it made chatting with several people at the same time in a private conversation really convenient.
Cons
The plans are a bit pricey although I understand the platform needs revenue to keep everything running properly.

“Similar to Discord”
Pros
Getting started with it is simple and it feels a lot like Discord. You can also follow hashtags to keep up with the specific content you want to see.
Cons
The interface doesn't really do anything unique. At the end of the day, it mostly feels like a more professional version of Discord.

“Offers a lot of value”
Pros
It feels very user-friendly to use and communication through it is fast and efficient. The channel-based collaboration works really well for organizing conversations and creating or managing workflows is simple. Features like reminders are also genuinely helpful and overall it brings a lot of value in many different ways.
Cons
notifications can get distracting. If I miss the first few messages in a channel, I would much rather receive fewer follow-up alerts instead of constant notifications from every member. I also do not really like having to mute notifications all the time or keep marking myself as "in a meeting" repeatedly.

“Brilliant Huddle video call feature”
Pros
Being able to message anyone at the office, whether one-on-one or in a group, is really useful and the Huddle video call feature makes quick meetings convenient too.
Cons
if I don't send a private message to someone for a while, that conversation thread ends up getting hidden.

“Mobile access keeps work moving”
Pros
Ability to use both the mobile app and the web version is a big plus but I rely on the mobile app even more. It's very user-friendly and lets me stay on top of things while I'm out or traveling, whether that's handling approvals, responding to requests or starting conversations and huddles without having to sit in front of my laptop or use a webcam.
Cons
The search feature has been frustrating lately. It seems like it was updated or changed somehow and now it's much harder to locate specific files, conversations or messages. I've recently lost track of important records because of it and that has definitely slowed down my workflow.

“Handy chat access anywhere”
Pros
Being able to use it both online and through the app is really convenient. It's simple to navigate and the free version already covers a lot of useful features.
Cons
An issue comes up when managing multiple accounts, notifications don't always arrive for every account and they often only show up for the one that's currently open.

“Lightweight communication tool”
Pros
It feels lightweight and user-friendly as a communication tool. The workflow integrations are especially helpful for automation and the audio call quality is better than what I've had with other tools like MS Teams.
Cons
Lately, I've noticed the app has had more downtime than before and it tends to lag when a lot of messages are queued up.

“Strong collaboration across teams”
Pros
Working with teammates feels very natural in it and collaborating with people in different locations is really simple.
Cons
Getting everything set up can be a bit fiddly and the pricing starts to feel quite expensive. The free plan is also limiting since it doesn't support meetings with multiple participants.

“Amazing interface”
Pros
Slack has a really clean interface so getting around the platform feels very simple. It's also highly customizable which makes it simple to set things up the way that works best for your team. Another big plus is being able to keep communication with both internal staff and external partners all in one place.
Cons
Amount of notification spam takes some effort to control through Slack's settings or by creating extra rules in your email platform. Also some of the more advanced features are locked behind the paid plans.
