“connects with a lot of different apps”
Pros
It has been really helpful because it connects with a lot of different apps. I also rely heavily on the custom notification settings and the way chats can be organized makes it much easier to keep everything sorted and find conversations quickly.
Cons
It is easy to miss threads since they do not automatically appear in the main chat. If thread replies also showed up there, it would make them much more visible.

“Easy to manage”
Pros
This product feels really easy to handle and makes team communication much faster and more organized. Channels do a nice job of keeping different topics separate which helps a lot.
Cons
Even though it's very user-friendly, the notifications can sometimes feel overwhelming and finding older messages can take more effort than it should.

“Superb project management features”
Pros
Over the years, it has turned into a really versatile platform and that's where a lot of its value comes from. It's not just useful for communication anymore, the project management features, collaboration tools and custom add-ons make it a strong all-in-one space where teams can manage projects smoothly without having to depend on a bunch of separate apps.
Cons
At the beginning, there was a bit of a learning curve with some of the core messaging features. As a small example, it took me a little while to figure out how to send GIFs or customize emojis because those parts didn't feel especially user-friendly at first although it was still pretty quick to learn. I also had some trouble when using it across different devices since it would occasionally fail to sync or update the same way but that only happened once in a while.

“Good for group communication”
Pros
It's a solid platform for communication and for organizing a community or even several communities, through groups and workspaces.
Cons
The interface feels a bit complicated and I find some other platforms simpler and more practical to use.

“Instant messaging and helpful channels”
Pros
I enjoy pretty much everything about using it. Messages arrive instantly, conversations are organized into channels and it's very simple to get a teammate's attention with mentions.
Cons
I still can't understand why every conversation has to open in a new window when using the web version. It becomes really annoying especially whenever a notification comes in.

“Separate channels for different team conversations”
Pros
Having separate channels for different team conversations made communication much more organized. I also really enjoyed being able to give shout-outs to coworkers and reward them with points that can be turned into gift cards.
Cons
I don't have anything negative to say about it but I do wish it included more features so it felt like a more complete app and better justified the monthly cost beyond just communication.

“Simple to share files”
Pros
It keeps team communication fast and convenient, with everything gathered in one place. Channels do a really good job of keeping work organized so important details don't disappear in long email chains. Sharing files or posting updates is also simple and doesn't slow the team down.
Cons
The notifications can become a bit chaotic when you're part of too many channels. Search is decent but finding older messages can still be frustrating at times. Calls and huddles get the job done though they're not quite as strong as some dedicated meeting tools.

“Wide range of features”
Pros
It works really well for operations management and there's a wide range of features available depending on the plan you choose.
Cons
To access every feature, you do need a paid plan but the pricing is still quite reasonable for everything included in the upgraded version.

“Feature-packed tool”
Pros
Getting started with it is pretty simple and it includes a surprisingly wide range of features even on the free plan. It works really well for internal communication and is also excellent for managing notifications across the team.
Cons
Some options are tucked away behind too many menus especially things like channel management and user preferences. Because of that, the initial setup can feel a little overwhelming for someone without much experience.

“Pleasant to use”
Pros
It's free and works online so there's no need to download the app. Communication is much better with it and the messages are well organized. That makes it pleasant to use and helps everything feel more manageable.
Cons
There's no way to organize tabs within Chrome or Safari windows and having so many of them makes the experience less comfortable.

“Handy team communication tool”
Pros
Slack makes team and client communication really simple. Setting up group conversations or private chats is simple and it's been very convenient to use for both kinds of discussions.
Cons
keeping up with notifications is hard when people reply in threads instead of posting directly in the main chat. It takes extra effort to check everything and make sure I haven't missed any responses.

“Topic-based channels are fantastic”
Pros
Organizing conversations into separate channels for specific topics is one of the biggest strengths here. Also, being able to search within a channel by topic makes it much simpler to pull up older discussions without wasting time.
Cons
A few parts of it still feel like they could use some work although it seems like the newer AI features may be heading in that direction. It can sometimes be difficult to tell who replied and I'm not really a fan of threads since they add another click to get where I need to go.

“No complaints here”
Pros
With it, private communication with coworkers who are far away is quick and staying in touch feels much simpler. There are no communication issues and everything is much more organized.
Cons
Honestly, I have no complaints. It's fast, reliable and I haven't had any connection problems. It's also very simple to use and I'd absolutely recommend it 100% for making remote working relationships flow better.

“Outstanding messaging platform”
Pros
It works really well as a messaging platform for collaborating with internal teams and it's also useful for working with other businesses through Slack Connect.
Cons
The browser version takes a little while to open which isn't a huge issue but is worth mentioning. The free plan is also fairly limited.

“huge variety of third-party integrations”
Pros
There is a huge variety of third-party integrations. Being able to connect Jira, Trello and Google Drive right into our workflow keeps everything in one place and cuts down a lot on constant tab switching.
Cons
The mobile app can feel somewhat cluttered and it tends to load a bit slowly when managing several workspaces at the same time.

“Powerful file sharing”
Pros
The standout feature for me is file sharing. Other tools may handle calls and chat too but their file-sharing options feel much more limited compared to what this platform provides.
Cons
It really feels worthwhile only once you start paying. The free version leaves out so many features that sticking with Google apps can seem like the better choice.

“Satisfied user”
Pros
Overall, I'm very satisfied with it.
Cons
Getting everything organized in the tool wasn't always very user-friendly at first and it took a bit of time to get used to. Once the team worked out the best way to use it though, it ended up being much less of a drawback than we originally expected.

“Our go-to tool for internal communication”
Pros
It makes internal communication really simple and it also works well for staying in touch with external partners. One thing I really appreciate is the Salesforce integration for notifications. We use a new deal won alert which keeps the delivery team updated on what has just closed and that has been extremely helpful. The interface is also very user-friendly and pleasant to look at which makes using it throughout the day even better.
Cons
I can't think of anything I dislike about it. It's our go-to tool for internal communication and I've used it in several different roles with consistently positive results.

“Absolute game changer”
Pros
Honestly, I'm obsessed with it. I still can't believe my company waited this long to start using it because wow, it has completely changed the way we work. I'm on it all day, every day and it's become a huge part of how I get things done.
Cons
I genuinely don't have any complaints. I use it constantly and it's by far the most efficient way to get immediate information when I need it to finish tasks.
