“tasks organized simply with automation”
Pros
It really shines with its clean, simple design and visual layout. The Kanban-style boards make it simple to check the progress of different projects at a glance. I also value the Power-Ups since they connect smoothly with tools like Google Drive and Slack and Butler automation is a big help when it comes to cutting down repetitive work.
Cons
It works extremely well for task management but it can feel somewhat limited when handling very complex, large-scale projects that need deeper resource management or built-in Gantt charts. Once a board fills up with too many cards, it can start to look cluttered which makes finding specific details harder unless you rely heavily on filters.

“Power-ups connect well”
Pros
Well it still stands out for its ultra-simple interface and distinctive visual approach which makes getting started almost immediate. I especially appreciate how Butler, the built-in automation, has evolved over time. It's now more accessible and saves a lot of valuable time on repetitive tasks. The flexibility of the boards also remains a big advantage since they can adapt to almost any simple workflow.
Cons
Even though Power-Ups add useful functionality, it still shows its limits as soon as a project requires complex dependency management or a consolidated view across multiple projects. Managing a true "Master Board" is still difficult without paying for higher-tier versions. There's also sometimes a noticeable lack of depth in the native reporting compared with tools that are more focused on being a full productivity suite.

“ultra-simple interface”
Pros
Trello has been a solid project management tool for keeping track of tasks, team members and deadlines. It's simple to use and makes it simple to monitor projects as they move along.
Cons
It works well for smaller ones but once things grow in scale, it doesn't seem set up to handle that as effectively.

“One of best we've used for years”
Pros
There's something really satisfying about the drag-and-drop cards. Shifting a task from in progress to done gives me a clear sense of progress and keeps everything feeling simple to manage.
Cons
Once a project starts getting bigger, the boards can feel cluttered and a bit overwhelming. It also becomes difficult to get a clear view across multiple boards.

“Satisfying drag-and-drop cards”
Pros
Trello keeps task and project tracking very simple and it's simple to stay on top of what needs to get done. Being able to drag things around and instantly see the status of work makes it really practical to use.
Cons
It doesn't always offer enough depth for more complicated projects and some of the more helpful features are locked behind paid plans.

“beginner-friendly free plan”
Pros
The kanban view has been fantastic for keeping track of progress, deadlines and who's responsible for each task. I really enjoy how clearly it shows what's been completed and what still needs attention.
Cons
We ended up upgrading to a paid plan because it made things more convenient. A few features are still locked behind a higher tier but honestly, we're able to get by without them.

“kanban view tracks progress clearly”
Pros
I appreciate the task view is clear and well organized which makes it practical for collaborating with a team.
Cons
The free version is pretty limited in terms of features. It can get messy once you start handling a lot of projects and it lacks some of the more advanced tools you get with other solutions.

“clear task view for team collaboration”
Pros
Planning projects in Trello is really simple and I can always tell exactly where everything stands in the workflow. Since I'm a visual learner, seeing each project laid out this way helps a lot. It's also helpful that the rest of the team can follow the progress too and I'm able to communicate with teammates directly through the Trello cards. It just makes collaboration feel very natural.
Cons
There was one time when a teammate accidentally deleted a card, although she did manage to restore it after searching up the steps. It would be better if Trello added an extra confirmation warning before a card is permanently deleted.

“flexible boards for teamwork”
Pros
The board and card system makes it easy to organize tasks and check progress at a glance. It works well whether you are managing personal projects or collaborating with a team. Another thing I appreciate is how flexible it is. You can adjust a board to fit different workflows without needing much setup.
Cons
Trello does start to feel a bit limited when projects become more complex. Once a board fills up with a lot of cards, navigating everything gets harder. Some advanced capabilities, such as reporting or task dependencies, also need extra power-ups.

“confusing and overambitious setup”
Pros
Trello seemed really promising at first before I spent time actually using the software. For something that is meant to make a busy life feel more manageable and organized, it ended up leaving me feeling unsatisfied and just as overwhelmed as I was when I started.
Cons
Using it felt more complicated than it needed to be in places where it should have been helping simplify things and that made the whole platform come across as confusing and somewhat cheap. It's obvious the team behind it wanted it to be something transformative especially for people like me who struggle with staying organized and need a tool to bring everything together. Still, it feels like they aimed too broadly and tried to make it do everything and because of that it never becomes truly good at any one thing and ends up not doing much particularly well.

“Handy calendar for teamwork”
Pros
Our marketing team relies on it as a really useful collaboration tool for managing both the content plan and communications calendar. The calendar power-up is especially simple for the team to handle and it's simple to share with the wider business so everyone has visibility into what we're working on.
Cons
At times, the interface feels a bit unclear and settings that were previously saved occasionally seem to reset themselves. It happens somewhat randomly so it's not a huge problem but it can still be frustrating when it does.

“solid project tracking value”
Pros
Even the free plan can cover your needs if your company is still small and doesn't require enterprise-level licensing. It's a solid, well-made project management tool overall.
Cons
Notification handling can be inconsistent at times which can slow things down. The permissions setup can also feel more complicated than it should be.

“simple boards with useful plugins”
Pros
Trello has a really generous free plan, a huge variety of plugins and a simple concept that makes the interface feel simple right away. I almost never have to spend time hunting for a feature which is something I run into a lot with other project management tools.
Cons
Once a board fills up with too many cards, the interface starts to lag quite a bit and becomes harder to work with. Because of that, it's not very practical to use a single board both for active work and for collecting ideas at the same time.

“Appealing look, weak planning”
Pros
At first glance, Trello looks really nice and works well as a digital checklist. It can definitely replace sticky notes and help keep simple tasks online, although there are other free apps that can do that too.
Cons
When it comes to actual project management, it doesn't work as well as Asana or other dedicated platforms. It's not capable of supporting something like an organization's yearly marketing plan and once too much information is added in one place, it becomes hard to organize and manage properly.

“GREAT boards, lists and cards”
Pros
it has been fantastic for the way I work. It makes workflows really easy to visualize, lets me assign tasks with deadlines and even handles repetitive steps through the Butler automation feature. I'm also getting a lot of use out of the List feature which does a really good job of keeping me focused and on track.
Cons
At this point, I honestly don't have any complaints. I'm genuinely enjoying the platform and use the Boards, Lists and Cards features all the time.

“Helpful reminders and scheduling”
Pros
It's a really nice platform for keeping appointments in sync and having reminders visible on screen. I would have refined a few visual elements and simplified certain layouts to make it a bit more simple.
Cons
At the beginning, it felt a little complicated and it took about four months to really make full use of all its features. Still, it's a solid product for companies with more than four employees.

“simple team task tracking”
Pros
Getting started with Trello is quick and the interface is simple for tracking team tasks and assigning work. It's simple to set up for different teams, easy to access and the free version already includes the core features that are genuinely useful.
Cons
It does miss reporting tools like graphs and charts and managing things can feel a bit cumbersome when you're working across multiple boards.
