easy setup and smooth start

Pros

The whole experience is refreshingly easy and getting everything set up was surprisingly quick and simple. It plays nicely with the other programs we already use and the visuals are clean, modern and genuinely attractive. It's a tool that�s both powerful and pleasant to work with every day.

Cons

Thus far I haven't encountered any issues. Everything is running smoothly and meeting my specifications without any problems up to now.

Flexible and reliable overall

Pros

Overall our team finds the platform very simple and adaptable letting us tailor features to our company's specific requirements and I find support to be pretty responsive whenever help tickets are submitted.

Cons

When updating workflows we ran into problems and had to reach out for assistance which was necessary to get everything working correctly.

Clean design with small gaps

Pros

The clean layout is a huge part of why it works so well. Everything is thoughtfully organized making it simple to find features and move around the app quickly without getting lost or distracted. It feels simple and efficient like the design was built to save you time and clicks.

Cons

Our team has noticed that integrating it with our payroll system isn't as smooth as we'd like making the connection process more simple would help.

database glitches and workflow is limiting

Pros

Booking a one-on-one customer support session online was simple and I could ask any questions I had. At no point did I feel stupid for asking, I was treated with respect and everything was explained clearly. In my experience DropBox Sign (formerly HelloSign) performs really well and I absolutely like getting an email every time an Agreement is completed. Another feature I enjoy is being able to tweak and customize the filters to suit my preferences.

Cons

What bothers me most is that resumes force a download, I much prefer them embedded so I can scan quickly. I've found a workaround but it doesn't take away how aggravating it is to hit the back button and lose all my search results. There was also a strange glitch with the "sharing profile" option that temporarily wiped out about half my database, that was genuinely panic-inducing. I don't typically use that feature (I probably clicked it thinking it did something else) so while it wasn't a dealbreaker, it made for a rough day. I appreciate being able to adjust filters but the fact they can't be reused under the same name makes managing new versions during a database overhaul messy. It would be great if the "Skills" section could be edited on our end, right now it doesn't include all the languages our top vendors need so I've had to invent a tagging workaround. Similarly, the Skills area isn't as simple for users as I'd like. I'm also eager to build more sophisticated Workflows that can branch more effectively, because the current setup feels limiting. Finally, I attempted to integrate Zapier with Worksuite and SmartSheet but those connections were too restrictive for what I needed to automate.

marketplace tool that scales well

Pros

We quickly adopted the marketplace tools on the platform to post and assign tasks to freelancers without hiccups. After we got the hang of it the layout felt simple so assigning work and keeping lines of communication open became simple. I also appreciated the live task monitoring and clear financial visibility which really improved our everyday coordination and management.

Cons

I ran into some language-related hurdles at first but we managed to overcome them. Getting the system up and walking freelancers through how it worked took careful, deliberate planning. Additionally setting up the workflow required close cooperation with platform reps and that back-and-forth sometimes led to minor delays during our initial setup phase.

Simple but very manual

Pros

As both an administrator and a regular user I find the product extremely simple to navigate and operate in daily use.

Cons

I wish I didn't need to manually create a task for every new contractor. It would be much better if they were automatically offered as an onboarding option.

Centralized yet a bit restrictive

Pros

I've found that having resources and tasks managed together in one place on Worksuite is incredibly helpful for staying organized.

Cons

That said reporting feels pretty limited and cumbersome and we're also constrained by strict user limits which has been a recurring challenge for our team.

could be improved

Pros

I find the payments tab pretty simple to navigate but it would help if the invoice approver was visible at a glance so I don't have to open each assignment just to discover who approved the invoice. That small change would save clicks and time.

Cons

We're having a lot of trouble getting freelancers through the numerous, and sometimes redundant, steps required before a Worksuite Pay assignment goes live. In my experience the interface isn't simple for freelancers and managers end up spending a huge amount of time walking people through each stage of the flow, even when those freelancers have completed it before. For instance, freelancers can see assignments on their dashboard where onboarding is marked as complete but it's frustratingly unclear where their active 'in progress' tasks are listed. From the manager perspective, I often need to navigate several different screens just to reach the 'full details' of an assignment which happens to be one of the views I use most. It feels like there are too many clicks and too many separate pages to get to information we need quickly. Overall we'd really benefit from simplifying the process, reducing steps, consolidating screens and making the workflow clearer so both freelancers and managers can move faster and with less hand-holding.

Pros

For me Worksuite is pretty simple and easy to figure out.

Cons

On the downside I've run into occasional problems where requests or project collaborators can't see what I send or can't access attachments and at times there are formatting glitches that seem impossible to correct.

price holds it back

Pros

I've found the support team to be quite helpful. We handle our onboarding, vendor payments and contract management through Worksuite.

Cons

For us the biggest problem is the massive upcharges for small features and the often confusing pricing structure. The product only works so-so and comes with a number of limitations and it's extremely frustrating to be charged roughly ten thousand dollars a year just to get API access.

worth the price

Pros

What I value most are the onboarding features. We require a simple process for candidates to apply to join us. It's simple to check which stage each person is in. Using this reclaimed many hours that email workflows used to consume.

Cons

Sometimes I find it more difficult to navigate and get the team to update it. I'd like a way to flag what I've added on someone's own profile versus skills they added themselves.

Reliable long-term partner

Pros

Honestly I've found Worksuite incredibly simple to navigate, from initial onboarding all the way through to paying invoices.

Cons

When it comes to reporting, I wish I could pull up the exact data I need without having to sift through and manually filter a spreadsheet, for instance, it'd be great if I could quickly generate a report showing all invoices paid on a specific date and access that output easily whenever required.

Powerful but takes time to learn

Pros

We rely on workflows, custom fields and analytics to closely monitor our onboarding teams' week-to-week performance. Having that information available regularly in a format that's easy to digest has truly changed the way I see our operations and is a real game-changer for our business.

Cons

I found the initial setup fairly complex. Building custom fields and workflows from scratch involved a noticeable learning curve because the workflows are extremely capable in what they accomplish. On top of that I discovered that some workflow adjustments can't be completed without help from the worksuite team.

easy vendor management and invoicing

Pros

I think the way I can interact with my vendors is easily its strongest feature.

Cons

I've noticed there's some buggy code that messes up how line breaks are formatted so the text doesn't display correctly. Also I'd really like the Events I create to automatically show up in my Shortlist instead of forcing me to hunt them down with a search.

Onboarding saved us time

Pros

As a recruiter I find Worksuite's modern automation to be a fantastic time-saving solution for both Recruiters and HR, the "Stages" feature really stands out as exceptional!

Cons

One drawback I've noticed is that I can't invite candidates into a workflow with an agreement and the other necessary documents already attached from Stage1 and that limitation actually reduces overall efficiency for my hiring process.

a bit buggy

Pros

It satisfies our business requirements. We have a solid database to keep our contract workforce which makes pulling hires from it much simpler. It also automates payroll, contracting and onboarding.

Cons

It can feel a bit lagging. Often I have to click through extra steps to complete tasks or save information. We're missing some bulk features we need.

good for remote work management

Pros

For us the platform is really easy to use and the customer support responds promptly. The onboarding process was efficient and payments are reliable. I've noticed freelancers seem pleased with the visibility they now have and we're satisfied with how onboarding and payments are handled.

Contractor control made easy

Pros

Honestly I'm finding Worksuite really easy to use, creating projects and tasks is simple. I've also seen it used to onboard certain team members which I think is a helpful use case. Approving hours and generating invoices is surprisingly simple. There is an option to share files although I personally don't make use of that feature much.

Cons

What frustrates me is the lack of formatting inside the description box. I want to be able to insert links and use multi-level bullet points as well as numbered lists but those options aren't available. Pasting text with its original formatting would save me a lot of time because right now everything comes in as plain text and I have to reformat it which is annoying to fix. Another big improvement would be the ability to filter the overall tasks list by contractor, that would be amazing.
