“affordable plans”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how generous the free plan is for people who can't afford to pay. The paid version is also priced very competitively which makes it accessible for just about everyone using it. Performance has been excellent and the platform comes with plenty of useful features for both hosts and participants. On top of that, it's very simple to use and that's probably my favorite part of it.
Cons
My biggest frustration with this product is the time limit on meetings for free users. I understand the reason behind it but it was still aggravating and definitely pushed me to upgrade. I also feel it should offer a way to use it without having to download the app.

“popular and quick connections”
Pros
It's simple to use and since almost everyone is already familiar with it, connecting with other participants happens quickly.
Cons
Downside is that it can be hard to find the details for scheduled meetings and there isn't a direct option to copy that information.

“everyones choice!”
Pros
Back during the Covid lockdown, when work and school moved home, the tool was the platform almost everyone was already using. Even without an account, people could jump in whenever needed which made things much more convenient. The meeting recording option has been especially useful. "Pin video" is not essential but it is still a nice extra in certain situations. Another thing I appreciate is that this tool does not seem to store much unnecessary data. For instance, if you set a virtual background using a photo or video, the system does not save that file into its own folder. That keeps storage lighter although it can also be a downside because the background disappears if the original file gets deleted. Up to now, I have not run into any bugs with the system. No crashing and there are not too many software updates either. It is also very helpful that events can be imported from Outlook, iCal and other calendars so everything feels well integrated. On top of that, you can block certain regions from joining a meeting which is important for privacy. There is also the option to enable or disable the waiting room depending on the situation.
Cons
One limitation is that web version cannot really be used on a phone so installing the app is necessary to join a meeting there. With the free version, hosting a meeting, class or event is limited to around 30 minutes which is understandable but still frustrating. I have also noticed that the delay on the software feels worse than on some other platforms. For example, if my friend and I try to speak at the same time, it never really happens at the same moment because there is about a one-second gap. The raise hand feature could also be better since it is a little hard to tell who raised their hand first and who should be next.

“free features”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how many features it gives you for free. The video and audio quality are excellent and the live chat option is very simple to use. I also really appreciate the recording feature because the saved meeting quality stays just as good and does not get compromised. On top of that, the platform is user friendly even for people who are not very comfortable with new technology.
Cons
An issue I have noticed is the audio when the number of participants gets close to the maximum limit. In those situations, the sound can become distorted.

“recording helps but support falls short”
Pros
Being able to record classes is a big plus. It lets me explain things live in real time and I can also use other tools to write directly on the screen. On top of that, I'm able to run any software I need to show graphics, processes or step-by-step execution during the lesson.
Cons
Problem is that the writing stays on the screen even when I switch to another page so it doesn't behave consistently and I have to erase it manually. There are also connection problems at certain times and some of my students have trouble accessing the room. Another downside is the lack of helpful guidance for users who aren't very experienced or don't feel comfortable working with different software.

“user friendly video meetings”
Pros
Video chat, screen sharing, recording and pretty much all the features I use every day feel very user friendly.
Cons
I haven't run into any major problems. The only awkwardness I've noticed is that when there are more than 50 participants, the video quality can dip but that seems more related to internet instability than this software itself.

“versatile meetings and webinars”
Pros
Getting this software up and running is very easy which makes it useful for everything from quick chats with coworkers to joining or hosting webinars.
Cons
There are some compatibility problems with certain external webcams and the green screen background can be a bit unreliable when the background behind you isn't a single solid color.

“stands out”
Pros
Something that really stands out is how good the writing and sharing features are. Being able to share only certain parts of the screen, specific apps or even just the audio is extremely useful and makes meetings much more flexible.
Cons
On the downside, streaming uses a lot of computer resources and tends to slow everything down during calls. It also crashes from time to time and when that happens, you end up having to restart the app or even the whole computer.

“familiar meetings with helpful controls”
Pros
The platform has become such a standard tool that almost everyone already knows how to use it whether it's parents, coworkers or even a book club. Because it's so widely used, sending an invite and getting people connected virtually is usually very simple. Another thing I appreciate is how quickly this platform rolls out new features. The live captioning is one of my favorites especially when someone in the meeting needs extra support with hearing or following along with what's being said. It's also really useful that you can enable it right in the middle of a meeting. On top of that, there are plenty of useful settings you can adjust live which matters a lot, like locking the meeting, turning the waiting room on or off and changing what participants are allowed to do.
Cons
Because I mostly use the tool in educational settings, there are still a few features that could be improved or added to make it work even better for classes at different levels. That said, I understand education is only one of many use cases for the platform and the features it already offers are still helpful for a wide range of users.

“top pick”
Pros
When it comes to advanced video conferencing and business meetings, this tool is the clear pick. Its built-in collaboration features make it really convenient to share files and exchange ideas during meetings. Compared with other platforms like Skype for Business, GoToMeeting and Google Hangouts Meetings, the system does a better job overall. A huge number of people, myself included, rely on it to run business meetings that feel more engaging and much more productive than before.
Cons
A setback that still needs work is background noise control even though it seems like something that should be technically possible. Every now and then someone unmutes and starts talking while there's very loud noise in the background which creates unnecessary distraction and confusion for everyone in the meeting. It would be really helpful if this app included a feature that could detect or manage whether a user's microphone is bringing in background noise.

“privacy-friendly video meetings”
Pros
During a stressful epidemic affecting people worldwide, the software has really felt like one of the best tools for studying and working from anywhere. One feature I especially enjoy is being able to use virtual backgrounds and apply filters since that helps protect the privacy of my surroundings and also makes me feel more comfortable and confident on camera.
Cons
This software is an application that has become extremely popular with users all over the world so there is not much to criticize overall. Still, one minor downside is that lag can happen quite often in larger meetings. It can affect the meeting experience a little although it is usually manageable if you have a strong wifi connection.

“handles large global meetings”
Pros
What really works well is the meeting capacity. We use the platform for our global meetings and can comfortably have well over 100 people in a single session without any issues.
Cons
Problem is that during a video conference on a Chromebase, there's no option to add a virtual background.

“Easy to figure out”
Pros
Setting up a meeting is very easy and once the link is shared, people can join from anywhere without any trouble. It keeps things simple. You can also decide whether to use video or stick to voice only when being on camera is not possible.
Cons

“excellent recording”
Pros
After trying several tools for online meetings while recruiting candidates overseas, this platform has been one of the strongest options I've used. I've spent a lot of time on free versions of different platforms and also tested a few paid ones and the tool consistently delivers some of the best video and audio quality available. My meetings have always felt stable, with dependable conferencing throughout. It's also very user friendly even for people who aren't particularly comfortable with technology. The recording feature is excellent and I really appreciate how it compresses videos so they don't take up too much local storage space.
Cons
Issue is that if someone doesn't already have this tool installed on their phone or computer, they usually need to download it first. It would be helpful to have a web-based option so people could join without installing anything, similar to Google Meet. That said, it's possible this already exists and I just haven't come across it yet.

“reliable calls”
Pros
Using the system has been a really positive experience because the interface is very user friendly and easy so there is basically no training needed to get started. Scheduling meetings, getting reminders and using the scheduler all work well and make the overall experience better. The call quality is also very good and the recording feature is especially useful for keeping track of important discussions. All in all, it is a solid option to choose.
Cons
A drawback is that the free version limits meetings to 40 minutes which can be frustrating. It would be better if the restriction were based on a certain number of uses instead. The chat feature also does not feel very effective compared to the rest of the platform.

“Standout screen sharing”
Pros
Video calls on the software come through with really good quality and the interface is simple and easy to figure out. Since it's free to use, it has been very useful for online meetings with colleagues. The screen sharing option is also one of its best features and works really well during discussions.
Cons
The desktop version feels much more complete while the mobile app still needs improvement because it is missing some features available on desktop. Another downside is the 40-minute limit on free meetings which would be better if it were extended.
