works well

Pros

Works really well for screen sharing and conferences, exactly as expected.

Cons

Some first-time users might not pick it up right away and may need to look for a tutorial.

So convenient

Pros

This has been an excellent platform for teaching, attending lectures and handling video conferences! Joining a meeting is very convenient since a single click on the invite link gets you in right away. It also does a really good job of helping people stay connected and communicate freely which has been especially valuable during the pandemic.

Cons

It uses a lot of data especially when screen recording is involved. Recordings can also become slow and frustrating if the internet connection is weak. On top of that, the software still feels a bit limited in terms of features and I think additions like advanced chat rooms would make it much better.

reliable recordings and group calls

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is being able to save session recordings either on my computer or in the cloud which makes it very convenient. It also works well for conversations with multiple participants since several callers can join the same call without any issue.

Cons

A stable and fairly strong internet connection is definitely needed for it to work properly. I'd also really like to have a more advanced conversation option added in the future.

makes meetings organized

Pros

Using this software feels more accessible than a lot of the other communication platforms we use. The recording button is already built in so there's no need to hunt for a third-party app just to save a session. I also appreciate being able to create a registration page and see the list of customers who signed up for the program we scheduled. The chat works really well too especially for sending a private message to someone you need to reach during a meeting. Another feature I really enjoy is the waiting room since it gives time to get prepared and manage everything before letting participants in. On top of that, the noise control and virtual background options help meetings look more polished formal and clean.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the recurring meeting setup. It would be better if the schedule could stay organized in one place per lane, where details like meeting ID, increments and time are grouped together. Right now, recurring meetings are arranged by date and to me that makes everything feel split up and a bit messy.

free meetings that fit perfectly

Pros

The software works really well for me because it's free for everyone to use and the 40-minute free meeting limit matches my usual meeting length almost exactly. Since most of my meetings are around that time, the platform ends up being a very practical and suitable option for what I need.

Cons

I'm not happy with the lack of control the host has over the comment section. If someone posts something inappropriate or socially unacceptable in the chat/comments, the host isn't able to remove it which is a frustrating limitation.

meetings without any travel

Pros

Being able to meet with team members in real time online has been really valuable especially since it removes the need to travel and helps avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19.

Cons

The webinar pricing feels a little too expensive for my budget and I'd prefer to see a more flexible pricing option.

powerful meetings across devices

Pros

Does an excellent job of meeting customer needs. It offers a full range of features that make the platform highly effective and useful for meetings and presentations. One thing worth highlighting is the ability to create private meetings, record sessions, share your desktop and even host events with hundreds of attendees. The interface is very accessible and the overall user experience feels polished which makes choosing this software feel like a smart decision. Setup is also convenient since it works across different operating systems and on mobile devices without any noticeable drop in usability.

Cons

Performance on Linux still has room for improvement. While it is fairly common for GNU/Linux to get less attention, I still noticed a clear difference compared with Windows especially in audio and video synchronization. It helps that Linux support exists at all and in some cases the web version can actually be a better option. Another area that could be simplified is changing hosts and permissions because the number of required steps can sometimes be excessive and end up wasting time before everything is properly configured.

Easy to use

Pros

Has been the most user friendly video conferencing platform I've worked with! Since it connects with Google Calendar, I use it to schedule lessons with my students and prospective clients and that has helped me avoid being late or missing meetings. I rely on it for my private tutoring business where I teach English to online students and I also use it to stay connected with friends who live far away. The video and audio quality are excellent which makes my lessons much better. During classes, I use the mute microphone and webcam options as students join so things don't get too chaotic and that gives me better control over my sessions. The Android app is also useful because I can host or join meetings with clients when I'm away from my desktop. Overall, my experience has been positive. There have been moments when my room was messy and the virtual background feature saved me from feeling embarrassed by making my space look more professional. I also really appreciate the file-sharing option because it lets me send PDFs and other information through the chat during lessons. When I run online group classes, the breakout room feature is especially helpful for separating students into different rooms so they can work on their assignments individually.

Cons

Free users can't record sessions on mobile. I once tried to record a lesson from my Android phone while using the free plan but I couldn't find any record button at all. Later, I realized that recording on mobile is only available for paid users. A few other features such as virtual backgrounds, are also missing on mobile devices. I noticed that when I tried to use the feature on my Android phone during a meeting and couldn't find it anywhere. Another issue is that the software performs poorly when the internet connection is weak. It can end meetings when one participant has low internet speed, even if everyone else has a stable connection. That has interrupted some of my lessons and caused disruptions in class. On top of that, the 40-minute limit on the free plan is too short for online teaching sessions.

versatile meetings on any device

Pros

One thing I really enjoy about the platform is the recording feature. Screen sharing is also very useful and the platform supports plenty of interaction during meetings. Another big plus is that the app can be downloaded on just about any device which makes it really convenient to use anywhere.

Cons

The video quality can be inconsistent at times. Also, screen sharing occasionally runs into issues and may require the user to leave the app and join again to get it working properly.

user friendly

Pros

Right away, the software felt thoughtfully built, with an attractive layout and a user friendly interface that's simple to figure out. The self-recording feature has been especially valuable because it let me record lectures for an Engineering course without trouble. On top of that, this software does a really good job compressing the recordings while still keeping the final video quality impressive. The whiteboard is another standout feature and when paired with a stylus or drawing tablet, it becomes a very powerful tool for explaining concepts and collaborating during classroom sessions or office hours.

Cons

Even though the software performs well on desktops, my Surface Pro 3 would start overheating after only about 20 to 30 minutes in a class of 20 students when recording was enabled. The problem got bad enough that the device would actually shut itself down. Checking the resource and performance monitor through Task Manager made it clear that the software was consuming a huge amount of my processor resources.

helpful for distance learning

Pros

During the pandemic, this software became something I truly appreciated. With physical distancing in place, it allowed us to continue plans that would have otherwise been canceled or delayed. It has been especially useful for students since they can access it and use it for their modular learning without much trouble.

Cons

At the moment, I don't think any updates are really necessary.

Highly recommend!

Pros

Hosting meetings in the platform, recording them when needed, sharing important content and resolving issues quickly all make it an incredibly valuable tool. I really can't recommend the software highly enough.

Cons

Screen control can be better when certain dialog boxes appear on another user's computer. At times, those pop-ups temporarily interrupt control or prevent anyone except the person on the shared machine from taking action.

staying connected made possible

Pros

In the middle of a really difficult time around the world, the software gave people a practical way to keep up with both work and family. The free first 40 minutes feels incredibly generous and it made the platform much more accessible. Screen sharing has also been one of the most useful features across all kinds of situations. Being able to show your screen made meetings, conversations and even things like virtual game nights work really well.

Cons

Every now and then the audio cuts out or gets a little fuzzy but most of the time that seems more related to other people's internet or wireless connection than the software itself.

smooth meetings anywhere

Pros

Joining and using it feels smooth and participants can hop in from wherever they are. There's no need to download any software since you can just click the link and enter. It also handles large groups really well.

Cons

It lacks strong comment control, there's still the risk of meeting disruptions and the cloud recording file sizes can be inconsistent.

works for team collaboration

Pros

The software works well for large company-wide meetings and we can have around 150 people on the same video call without much trouble. Screen sharing is also very useful for demos and presentations. It's especially helpful during pair programming since it makes remote collaboration much more practical and efficient.

Cons

There were some security concerns in the past although the software has addressed those issues since then. I've also come across a few odd Linux-specific problems with the app but they usually get resolved fairly quickly.

handy invites and screen sharing

Pros

Sending meeting invites to colleagues is very convenient since there are several ways to share them. The screen sharing feature has also been really valuable for my team and me when working with site managers especially when we can't be there in person.

Cons

At times, the video quality drops and the connection can be pretty poor. Still, being able to switch to audio-only helps a lot when the internet connection isn't strong.

easy to communicate

Pros

Keeping a distributed team connected across multiple locations really depends on the video conferencing and this software handles that well! Screen sharing and content sharing help meetings move along naturally and make it much easier to communicate the information the team needs.

Cons

Phone side of the platform is a bit inconsistent. Call audio quality can be spotty and it's missing several quality-of-life features that would make integration more convenient.

excellent for online classes

Pros

During lockdown, the software turned out to be an amazing option for online classes when onsite teaching wasn't possible. It works well on both mobile phones and laptops without any trouble. It's also ideal for large video conferences, letting many participants join and interact at the same time. Screen sharing is very useful for presenting slides to everyone in the meeting. Another helpful feature is the recording option which allows teachers to save lectures and share them later with students. There's also a chat feature where students can ask teachers questions during the class.

Cons

Free version only allows meetings up to 40 minutes and the session ends automatically after that. For classes or meetings longer than an hour, the meeting has to be started again. Still, considering it is available in the free version, this limitation is not too bad.
