Also lets you send private messages to someone in the chat which is really useful. You can tag specific people in chats too so it's easier to get their attention.

Cons

When sharing my screen, the toolbar keeps getting in the way and there isn't an option to hide it directly. The only workaround is remembering the shortcut key to make it disappear.

Pros

It is very user friendly overall and doesn't take much effort to figure out. The background and blur features also work really well especially on work-from-home days.

Cons

The integrations don't function the way they should. The timezone in the emails also doesn't always update correctly which can end up confusing other people joining the calls.

Pros

I've relied on it to stay connected and handle plenty of graduate school tasks. It's quick to get into and simple to use. On my MacBook, it runs very well and I haven't run into any major problems with it.

Cons

Tried to update right when I was about to use it which ended up making me late for a meeting. It would be much better if updates could happen automatically so that this kind of thing doesn't come up.

Using it feels very easy and sharing my screen with other people is really convenient.

The layout changes depending on the device whether it's a phone, iPad android tablet or desktop which can be confusing.

Every now and then, the mute turns off when you don't expect it to and there are some minor technical glitches.

The video and audio quality are really strong, with fewer interruptions during meetings. Screen sharing works well for collaboration and breakout rooms are especially helpful for making meetings more organized, efficient and productive. It's also simple to join and access when needed.

Cons

There are times when network problems come up and meetings with a lot of participants can run into connection issues. The free version also comes with limited features and time restrictions for each meeting. On top of that it can use a lot of data which becomes a downside for anyone relying on personal mobile data.

It's really convenient for virtual meetings whether it's for work, homeschooling, tutoring, counselling or interviews.

Cons

I honestly have nothing to complain about--there's nothing negative to mention. It's excellent software for running meetings virtually.

Using it on both mobile and desktop feels easy and the platform is simple to figure out on either one.

The app version makes chatting and adding notes more difficult than it is on the desktop version.

It can be a bit slow at times although that may be related to how many people are in the call. I think it would be a lot better without that lag but it could also be caused by the internet connection.

I'm on it every day for my job and with more than 1000 people at our company, it handles our needs really well. At the same time it's simple enough for non-business users too. During Covid, my entire family signed up and people of all ages and comfort levels with technology were able to join and stay connected without much trouble.

Cons

One limitation is that I can't send attachments in the meeting chat like a screenshot. Also, when I'm speaking with someone who's more used to Teams, Google Hangouts or another platform, it can take them a moment to locate options like mute/unmute or screen sharing since the menu disappears.

Pros

After a few months of using the platform, it has really improved the way I handle remote work. The video and audio stay reliably clear even when the internet connection is unstable. Screen sharing during team brainstorming is especially helpful and it genuinely makes it feel like everyone is together in one room. Getting started it is also very simple even for beginners.

Cons

I haven't run into any problems it.

It has become a universal tool that pretty much everyone uses now and for the most part it's user friendly.

The pricing has gone up compared with competitors like Google Meet and it still doesn't offer 1080p video.
