It's a really good way to stay connected with coworkers or communities across different parts of the world.

Setting up a meeting got confusing when time zones were involved. There should be a tutorial that explains how to schedule meeting times properly when participants are joining from different locations.

It is commonly used and very convenient although there are still glitches that keep happening.

This latest update has been incredibly frustrating. I can't seem to find a simple way to copy and paste my personal meeting link anymore and there are far too many added tools that I do not need for my job. It honestly feels like I'm paying more for extras I never asked for. Also the platform frequently crashes my computer and the whiteboard tends to lag. I really wish there were a more basic, lower cost version with unlimited meeting time and the whiteboard without all the unnecessary extras. I do not need an app full of countless tabs that only make things more confusing and seem to contribute to the crashes and at this point I'm genuinely thinking about moving to another platform.

Pros

Being able to actually see the person you're speaking with makes a big difference. During court hearings held by phone, people tend to talk over one another since there are no visual cues to show when someone is about to jump in. It really solves that problem.

Cons

The selection of virtual backgrounds feels fairly limited and they often clip parts of your hair which ends up looking odd on screen. I'd also rather have each user keep one fixed meeting room ID and passcode instead of relying on auto-generated ones because that can be confusing. We've had a few cases where a client joined the wrong meeting from an old link.
