Very effortless

Pros

Its so easy to get into a meeting on this platform. Once you receive the meeting ID, joining takes almost no effort and the layout is clear because all the controls are right there on the screen.

Cons

At times it can lag or unexpectedly remove you from the meeting.

Beginner friendly

Pros

Useful for more than just meetings and the screen-sharing feature during calls is really helpful. The platform is also user friendly even for people who are using it for the first time.

Cons

Occasionally it freezes and removes clients from meetings unexpectedly. There are also occasional glitches that prevent someone from joining and in those cases we end up switching to another meeting app to connect with the client.

Quite practical

Pros

Very practical and simple to use, with availability across countries and age groups and the quality is excellent. I've been using it for the past 3 years and I'd definitely recommend downloading it.

Cons

can record sessions

Pros

With it, there's no limitation of time or place which makes attending lectures or meetings much more convenient. Another big advantage is that sessions can be recorded so you can save the content and go back to it whenever you need to review something.

Cons

Issue is that meetings can potentially be joined by anyone which raises security concerns. Because of that, requiring a password to enter a meeting is necessary.

Perfect for online classes

Pros

It works really well for attending online classes at school and it's also very useful for business meetings.

Cons

Really stands out!

Pros

Something that really stood out to me was how accurate the timing felt. With the camera on, the exposure made it seem like you were right there with everyone else, live and happening in real time. Some people in the group mentioned having audio issues but I didn't run into any problems on my side at all. The sound came through perfectly.

Cons

I haven't come across any issues on my end. Everything felt accurate and right on point.

Communication made easy

Pros

It's really helpful to have several people communicate at the same time without everyone needing to be in the same location.

simple to use

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this platform is how simple it is to use, along with the clear video and audio quality. The instant meeting feature is especially useful because it makes quick, smooth collaboration possible which makes it a very efficient tool for remote work as well.

Cons

Problem is that the notifications can sometimes get in the way especially the sound when someone joins late. It can interrupt presentations and it's not very easy to turn those notifications off.

Pros

Being able to record sessions, stay connected and host a large number of people in one meeting is a big plus.

Cons

I really haven't run into any problems using this platform but I do wish the free 30 minute limit on the basic account was extended to a full hour.

Pros

weeks of unreliability

Pros

Video calling and phone features are useful when they actually work and the platform is easy to use during the times it functions properly.

Cons

Customer service has been poor. 'ZoomPhone' has been unreliable and unstable and technical support hasn't been able to resolve the issue. I would not recommend using it at all. This has been dragging on for weeks and they still haven't managed to fix it, they really seem unable to organize even the simplest thing.

Pros

Navigating the platform feels very natural and the key features are simple to reach without needing much time to figure them out. It works well for all kinds of users, from professionals in different fields to friends catching up on calls like many people did during covid. It has really helped make remote work possible by giving teams a reliable way to communicate virtually.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is when update notifications appear right before an important meeting or call. Even though the updates usually finish quickly, it would be better to have an option to postpone them until later.
