“quick to learn”
Pros
Getting started with it was very easy and it hardly takes any training to begin using it effectively.
Cons
I really dislike the pricing. There's no student discount and the free plan is limited to just 40 minutes. With the economy being in a recession, that cost feels like a big drawback. Connectivity can also be inconsistent at times though not enough to make me stop choosing it.

“Perfect for global meetings”
Pros
It's very simple to use and makes it possible to bring people from different parts of the world together in one room. It gives you the chance to meet them, talk through different topics and hear a variety of opinions.
Cons
Allowing more connection time would be a good improvement.

“great for client collaboration”
Pros
This platform has made it much easier for us to stay connected with clients across the country. Screen sharing, in particular, has saved us a lot of time when troubleshooting without direct visibility and when collecting design feedback.
Cons
Compared with some other tools I've used, it does use quite a bit of system resources. That's the biggest area where I'd like to see improvement. Other than that the software has been excellent.

“Handles call scheduling”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how well it handles call scheduling. Their email templates also look polished and much more professional than what I've seen from similar platforms. During Covid it was a lifesaver for businesses and played a huge role in helping companies keep operating when jobs were on the line.
Cons
No issues while using it.

“Great solution”
Pros
Simply does what it's supposed to do! From staying connected without trouble to sharing screens during meetings, it does a really good job of closing the distance between remote teams and people working in the office.
Cons
There's not much it lacks. If anything, it would be even better if audio sharing were more easy and if it offered more dedicated features for presenting to larger audiences.

“So valuable”
Pros
The platform comes with a lot of impactful features and they're simple to use. Its customer integration is one of the best parts and adds a lot of value.
Cons
A few areas still need improvement especially real-time broadcasting and presenter control management which could be enhanced to create a more engaging user experience.

“Gets the job done!”
Pros
Setting up meetings is quick, it connects nicely with Calendly and sending notifications to invitees is easy. It also integrates smoothly with the Fathom notetaker which makes note-taking much more practical and makes it simple to share notes along with video snippets.
Cons
There's still no option to pin chats so when someone joins a meeting late, you have to resend any earlier messages instead of keeping them visible for everyone.

“Good for teaching sessions”
Pros
After about three and a half years of using this platform, I'm still really happy with how user friendly it is and how many useful features it includes. Even for people who aren't especially tech savvy, it is very approachable. A lot of the tools are pretty self-explanatory and don't take much time to learn or remember. Features like screen sharing, whiteboard annotation and breakout rooms have been especially valuable. With just one click, I can share my computer or device screen with everyone in the meeting. Whether it's a document, pictures or even a video, sharing content is quick and convenient. This has been especially helpful in classroom situations when I need to show students assignment directions or walk them through a demonstration. Breakout rooms are another feature I really appreciate! I can divide students into smaller groups either randomly or based on assigned teams for discussions and I'm able to jump into each room to see how things are going. I can also set a timer for the breakout sessions so everyone comes back to the main meeting at the right time. That makes it really useful for giving students dedicated time to talk through questions with their classmates.
Cons
Screen sharing can get a little laggy when I'm sharing videos especially with the audio and playback although I understand that may be more related to a weak internet connection. It will also occasionally crash but that seems tied to poor internet as well. When it's being used somewhere with a strong connection, I usually don't run into any problems.

“reliable for meetings”
Pros
During the pandemic the free version for non-commercial use was really helpful for me. Even with the roughly 50 minute limit, it supported my meetings and client presentations well. Using this platform saved a lot of time, energy and money and it also gave good economic value. It feels secure, supportive, user friendly and simple to use.
Cons
In webinars or online meetings it sometimes lags or gets disconnected. It is still manageable but it would be even better if those issues could be fixed and improved.

“Love the recordings”
Pros
One feature my team relies on a lot is screen recording since it lets us go back to meeting sessions anytime we need to review something. The video and audio quality are both solid and screen sharing works well too. It's also helpful that the admin can manage participants and stop unnecessary conversations during meetings.
Cons
Downloading the recordings can be a little confusing especially for users who are not very familiar with the software.

“practical and widely familiar”
Pros
It's very simple to use and pretty much anyone can enjoy the experience. It doesn't take up much space on our devices and it's so well known that when it's time to hold meetings, most people already know how to use it.
Cons
Since I started using it, it has improved a lot. It feels more dynamic and practical now and I think the platform is heading in a very good direction.

“versatile tool”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how versatile it is. The app feels very natural to use and the interface is set up in a very simple, accessible way. It makes running meetings really convenient whether they are live or asynchronous since you can save sessions and go back to review them as many times as needed.
Cons
A downside is that it depends on external equipment like a camera and microphone if you want the best possible experience. Even so, using only the built-in tools on a computer, it still handles video and audio quite well because it gives you options to manage background noise and reduce outside sounds.

“top-tier video and audio quality”
Pros
The video and audio quality are excellent which is exactly where most competing tools tend to fall short. Also it has become so widely used by now that you rarely have to explain to anyone how it works. For me the real cherry on top is the ability to bring in virtual cameras and audio sources something many other platforms still don't support well or only handle in a very limited way.
Cons
I did prefer the earlier setup when two people could stay on a call for as long as they wanted for free. That said, it's not really a major downside. Sure, there are free alternatives out there but they usually come with the kind of quality trade-offs you'd expect.

“collaboration without barriers”
Pros
Has been really valuable in education especially in secondary schools and higher education and it also works very well for collaborating with teachers and coworkers. It makes it possible to reach goals in real time without having to meet face to face which helps remove a lot of the barriers that usually exist in both work and learning environments.
Cons
The mobile app feels really heavy when installing it on devices. Also the conference time limit included in the free version needs improvement.
