“widely adopted for online meetings”
Pros
Ever since the pandemic, nearly everyone already knows their way around the platform and that's a huge advantage. Unlike a lot of other tools you usually don't need to spend time explaining how it works. It's also a very complete option for online meetings, client consultations and even group training sessions.
Cons
Problem is that the recording quality can't really be adjusted so I wouldn't count on those recordings if you plan to publish them.

“perfect for studying and staying connected”
Pros
It helped me keep up with my studies during the pandemic and it also lets me stay in touch with family and friends in a practical and efficient way.
Cons
The taskbar menu in the app isn't my favorite. In some situations it gets in the way and makes things more difficult although it's still manageable.

“useful for classes and sharing”
Pros
Screen sharing and the chat are really useful and it also supports a large number of participants which works very well for things like online classes.
Cons
Video traffic is quite heavy so you need a solid internet connection to join and an even better one if you're the one broadcasting.

“versatile meetings and webinar tools”
Pros
Starting off with it was easy and using it day to day feels pretty simple. Since it's been around for a long time and is one of the major platforms, it connects with a wide range of other software and tools. I mostly used it for one on one or small meetings but it also works well for webinars and larger events when needed.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost especially if you only need it for basic video calls. The subscription includes a lot of features I've never ended up using so I'd much prefer a lower-priced plan that strips things back to just the essentials.

“essential for remote meetings”
Pros
This platform has become a key part of my daily workflow because of the kind of work I do. Since I work remotely, every meeting happens on it. On top of that my company also runs usability testing and those sessions are held there as well. A few things I really appreciate about it are being able to join from almost any device even without an account, screen sharing, remote control and the option to record meetings without much trouble.
Cons
To get access to all features, installing the app is still necessary. Another issue is that it tends to consume a noticeable amount of my device's battery and resources. I really hope the developers improve these areas.

“screen sharing that shines”
Pros
One thing I really enjoy is the screen sharing feature especially with annotation. It makes presentations and collaboration much more interactive and useful.
Cons
A downside is that the chat messaging still doesn't offer an option to share files which would make communication a lot more convenient.

“has steady updates”
Pros
Even people who aren't very tech savvy can get comfortable quickly. It's dependable despite the massive number of users relying on it every day and I appreciate that the team keeps improving it with gradual updates so the platform stays stable overall.
Cons
At the moment the thing that bothers me is how it sometimes changes the microphone settings on its own. It's not a deal breaker since it's fairly simple to fix in the preferences but it still adds one more thing I have to double-check and possibly adjust before going live.

“very accessible”
Pros
It's a very simple tool to use, really practical and the price feels quite affordable for software that's this useful.
Cons
Maybe the chat could be made a bit more dynamic, like with a pop-up window. Other than that, it's really very good as it is.

“Easy to figure out”
Pros
So easy to use and gives our team and company dependable, high quality communication! I also enjoy being able to use custom backgrounds and the fun backgrounds and avatars add a nice personal touch.
Cons
One thing that's been a little tricky is figuring out how to hand over control of my desktop to someone else.

“feature-packed”
Pros
What really stands out is how many settings can be customized and even better, they're presented in a way that's simple to understand and use. The platform does a very good job of balancing privacy and meeting controls while still letting participants interact and explore features comfortably. From scheduling meetings and syncing calendars to joining calls, adjusting video and audio based on what's needed, sharing screens, recording sessions, creating breakout rooms and managing host controls, the whole experience feels dependable, practical and very comfortable to use.
Cons
I don't have any major complaints about the software. If anything, it would be more convenient to handle the key settings directly inside the app rather than having to log in through the web portal.

“flexible meetings from anywhere”
Pros
Has been most valuable to me because it lets me stay connected and handle business from wherever I'm comfortable, without needing to be physically present in a meeting.
Cons
Needs better support for content creators. I'd really like the option to set up a session that people have to pay to join. It would be nice if it built that into the platform so hosts could charge attendees directly and get paid through the platform.

“fixed issues”
Pros
The upgraded security has made "Zoom bombing" pretty much a non issue now. Recording meetings and saving them is simple and being able to stream live to both Facebook and Youtube at the same time is a really useful bonus.
Cons
There are tons of settings and customization options so it can feel a little overwhelming in the beginning. Once everything is set the way you want though, you usually don't have to mess with it again. On rare occasions it can be a little unstable like when someone has trouble joining a meeting and while it doesn't happen often, it's very frustrating when it does.

“ideal for staying connection”
Pros
For remote work this has been the ideal way to stay connected with coworkers and clients through video calls in today's digital world. My business honestly couldn't operate without it, plain and simple. It handles everything well, from webinars to screen sharing.
Cons
The only tiny inconvenience is that the meeting links can sometimes be a bit long but that's very minor.

“user friendly”
Pros
Packed with useful features while still being very user friendly, this platform introduced a lot of the functions others later followed. For webinars, it lets me use almost all the teaching techniques I rely on in face-to-face sessions, like breakout rooms for group work, the whiteboard and sharing videos. It also works consistently well even when participants do not have the app installed or join from a smartphone, without all the registration trouble that comes with Teams. Compared with Google Meet, it feels like a much more advanced platform. The recording feature is also dependable and simple to use which really matters when I need people to watch a webinar afterward or when I want to review my coaching sessions.
Cons
I enjoy using it so much that no major annoyance comes to mind. My only real complaint is the pricing which feels expensive compared with other platforms that appear to be free. That seems to be one reason it has lost some popularity especially among business users who already have Teams included with their Office subscription. I actually preferred the older pricing model, where it stayed free for two participants and you only had to pay when more people joined. Even so I still keep using it because the feature set is worth it.

“simple screen sharing”
Pros
One thing that really worked well with it was how simple it was to share my screen and being able to draw directly on it made collaboration much better. Once we had paid plans, meetings were no longer cut off by time limits and the built-in tools like chat, markup and screen sharing made remote meetings feel much closer to being together in person when it came to getting work done.
Cons
Back before my company upgraded everyone to professional access, scheduling meetings was honestly frustrating because the 40 minute limit kept getting in the way. It was especially annoying when someone was in the middle of making a point and the call would suddenly end.

“Standard for meetings”
Pros
It has pretty much become the standard for meetings now! Being able to share your screen while working remotely with coworkers makes calls feel simple and efficient.
Cons
At times minimizing the window while screen sharing can be a little awkward. Sharing files through the platform can also be inconvenient so we usually end up sending them through Slack instead of during a call on the platform.

“great scheduling”
Pros
Scheduling daily, weekly or monthly meetings through the calendar has been great! I've relied on it heavily for more than two years now to manage both client calls and internal meetings. The screen sharing and remote access features are especially helpful for clear, efficient communication while working from home. It has also been consistently dependable when it comes to audio and video quality during meetings.
Cons
Occasionally it gives incorrect mute and unmute notifications. I've noticed on several occasions that my audio was actually active even though the screen showed it as muted. That can make it hard to keep conversations noise-free especially during client meetings.
