“excellent all in one platform”
Pros
Brings meetings, chat, email, calendars and whiteboards together in one place which makes daily work much easier to manage! The video call quality is also better than a lot of competing platforms and it offers more useful options during calls.
Cons
Adding extras like 'Zoom Phone', Webinars or advanced AI features can make the overall cost go up quite a bit.

“packed with useful features”
Pros
Was simple to start off with and it's very user friendly overall! It also comes with plenty of features that add value to the experience whether you're hosting or joining as a participant.
Cons
A problem I ran into wasn't really with the software itself but with an employer who moved us over to it and provided very little training on how to use the important features effectively.

“easy to join”
Pros
Connection quality stays consistently excellent even when bandwidth is limited. It's very user friendly too, you can join a meeting with just one click without needing to create an account or install bulky software.
Cons
The notetaking feature still has room for improvement and the screen sharing option can be confusing when you're the one presenting your screen.

“love it”
Pros
It covers everything I need for working with others remotely. I can use it for video calls and voice calls, share my screen when presenting and record sessions when needed. Overall it's one of the best tools I've used for collaboration and meetings.
Cons
Every now and then after I've joined a meeting, the app tries to reinstall itself or launch an update. It hasn't been a major issue for me and it may just be because I haven't always kept it fully updated.

“Zoom phone has been fantastic”
Pros
After using Zoom mainly for meetings for a long time, we recently moved our phone system over to it too and it's been really nice. I no longer have to miss calls when I'm away from my desk since they come straight to my cellphone through the Zoom app. Plus the narration and subtitle features are also something I really appreciate.
Cons
One thing I do not like is having to set my Zoom phone hours every week as my schedule changes a lot. Also sometimes calls still come through outside my working hours instead of going straight to voicemail.

“Crystal-clear calls and useful tools”
Pros
The call quality has been excellent and the on-screen features like chat, screen sharing and the pen tool are really useful during meetings.
Cons
I honestly do not have any complaints. It's a really great tool and the fact that it integrates well with so much of our tech stack makes it even more valuable.

“Fantastic collaboration across teams”
Pros
Holding meetings with people anywhere in the world feels really convenient because the platform is so accessible and widely used. Features like screen sharing, Q&A and chat make it much easier for everyone on the call to work together and stay engaged.
Cons
To be honest I really have not run into any negative experiences so there is not much to complain about. I also have not dealt with many bugs or technical issues.

“Reliable for meetings and video calls”
Pros
Zoom has been the best platform for scheduling meetings and staying connected. Plus it comes with plenty of useful features and everything is very user friendly. I use the video calling feature every day in my role and it works really well.
Cons
Every now and then it does something odd though that could just be user error. And sometimes meetings I have scheduled end up showing a different host.

“User-friendly for remote teams”
Pros
Getting started with it was a really positive experience because the interface is very user friendly. Since it was the first platform I used in a remote work setting, it felt simple right away and did not take much time to learn.
Cons
At times screen sharing feels a bit off and phone notifications do not always come through the way they should.

“Handy background blur feature”
Pros
Using it feels very easy and the background blur option is especially useful. Plus it does a really nice job of hiding everything behind me whenever I need a little more privacy or want to keep distractions out of view.
Cons
Sometimes it can be a bit glitchy. One thing that still catches me off guard is that when someone joins the call, our call ends up muting.

“Powerful collaboration and HD calls”
Pros
Zoom was a very cost effective option for a larger business when we used it and it came with many benefits. It also integrated well with other software, offered strong security and focused on teamwork and communication. The AI features were especially helpful for transcribing and summarizing meetings. Audio and video quality were consistently better than those of other platforms we had tried. Plus customer support was quick to respond and helped solve any issues. It also kept improving by fixing bugs and releasing updates which really mattered. It was also convenient for saving recordings and files for later use. With a good internet connection, HD video calls, screen sharing and breakout rooms all worked very well.
Cons
For a smaller business the pricing can become a challenge over time as the team grows. Paying per user each month can drive costs up quite a bit compared to other options.

“Really like meetings in hd”
Pros
Even with a wide range of options and settings, Zoom still remains simple to use as long as you do not start changing too much. We used it for meetings with several participants and the video quality in HD was very good. Even the AI meeting notes are also a huge time-saver.
Cons
There are a few too many options in my opinion and if you want to change anything, you really have to pay attention not to click in the wrong place.

“great for coaching sessions”
Pros
The layout is basic, inviting guests is quick and participants can share their screens without any hassle. Overall it has been a really valuable tool for my coaching service.
Cons
One thing I'd rather see is recordings saved directly to the Zoom cloud instead of my computer. The files ended up being quite large which made them hard to store and harder to organize compared with other platforms.

“Pricey and frustrating to manage”
Pros
At its core it is a very simple app for making video calls and the call quality is genuinely good so I really have no complaints there. The admin portal is also quite user friendly and easy to use. Beyond that though those are pretty much the only positives I can point to.
Cons
Our company uses it as a secondary video tool but as an admin I really dislike managing it. First it feels overpriced. The free plan has many limits like 40 minute calls and participant caps and paid licenses are so expensive that you hesitate before assigning one. It is also often buggy. As too many things go wrong and the integrations with Microsoft Office apps work very poorly. I have to reinstall it regularly. The interface is also bad. And yes it may look simple at first but the layout feels confusing and frustrating to use. Since we work in Microsoft 365 and rely on Teams for collaboration and file management, it just is not a good fit for us. I cannot speak to customer support because we usually handle issues internally.

Pros
Using it feels pretty easy and almost everyone seems to have access to it, whether they are joining from a laptop or a phone.
Cons
Updates can take a little while to finish and the green screen effect could be better. I would also love to see more options for polling and ice breakers.

“accessible meetings every week”
Pros
For more than six years my real estate team has relied on Zoom Workplace every single week for team meetings, along with recorded trainings, virtual client appointments and plenty of other calls. Also setting up recurring meetings, sending out the meeting information and keeping track of past recordings has been very easy. Customer support was dependable too.
Cons
The only hassle was syncing the invite link with Google Calendar. Instead we usually had to paste the meeting details into the notes section of the calendar invite.

“Clear video and teamwork”
Pros
Being able to host multiple video meetings, collaborate with the team and get consistently clear video quality is exactly why I enjoy using Zoom Workplace.
Cons
It does not happen often but it sometimes struggles to transmit audio or video accurately. I also think the free plan should allow sessions to run for at least 60 minutes instead of only 40.

“great meetings without hiccups”
Pros
Zoom has been incredibly flexible for all kinds of meetings and the video calling quality has been excellent. We have used it for team catch-ups, client sessions, large webinars and even full summits and it has handled every format and group size without technical issues or glitches.
Cons
One thing that can be a bit frustrating is the toolbar at the bottom of the meeting window. Like though it has a lot of useful controls but it can feel cluttered and sometimes it's harder to quickly find the exact setting I need especially if the icons move around.

“Useful but less dependable”
Pros
I like that it covers the basics well for both work and personal calls. And a lot of people still prefer scheduling meetings on Zoom so having it installed on your computer is pretty much necessary.
Cons
That said I have had my share of frustrations with it from the way it loads to the fact that it feels like an entirely separate platform when Teams already exists and tends to be more reliable.
