“Better than other meeting apps”
Pros
Zoom is really simple to use and honestly, I prefer using it over other programs for meetings.
Cons
As for the downside I only had one bad experience where I got kicked out in the middle of a meeting and could not get back in.

“Perfect for polished remote meetings”
Pros
Working from home feels much more professional with this. As it lets me run meetings without missing that office feel and the blur plus studio effects are real time-savers because I can look more put together on camera without having to spend extra time or energy getting fully done up for an at home meeting.
Cons
Every now and then my audio cuts in and out which makes it hard for me to hear others and for them to hear me. That said it might be more related to my own setup than to Zoom itself.

“handy ai companion”
Pros
What really sets Zoom apart from Teams and Google Meet in 2026 is the AI Companion. Unlike Microsoft which charges extra for Copilot, Zoom's AI is included in paid plans and is very useful. Meeting summaries are about 95% accurate and do a great job separating action items from general conversation. Another big advantage is how stable the video quality is. I have used it on slow rural connections with less than 2 Mbps and it smartly prioritizes audio and key visuals something Teams cannot match. Plus if your work involves external clients with weak internet or older computers, it is the platform that won't leave you embarrassed by lag or crashes.
Cons
The interface feels like a step back in time. While other platforms have moved to cleaner designs, it still has buttons and menus that look like theyre from Windows XP. If you are not already familiar with it, things like setting shared audio permissions or finding where a local recording was saved can be a real headache. RAM usage is also a real issue. If you already have 15 Chrome tabs open, plus Slack, design software or an ERP running, it can slow down your system. And the 40 minute limit on the free version is hard to defend in 2026. It no longer feels like a technical limit just a way to pressure you into upgrading.

“Fantastic for team meetings”
Pros
It has become my go to platform for virtual meetings and audio or video conferencing. Plus it offers really great value for the price especially with its recording capacity and the range of features available. It is also very simple to navigate which makes communication across large teams and resource sharing much more convenient.
Cons
Overall I am happy with it but the chat can feel a bit limited at times compared to what I need. I also sometimes struggle to find the emojis or stickers I want. Since it's mainly a professional platform that's understandable though it would still be nice to see some improvement there.

“ideal for global collaboration”
Pros
Zoom Workplace keeps collaboration and video calls simple which makes it a great fit for work. The interface is also clean, well organized and easy to use. Since most people already know how it works, inviting others to meetings rarely causes any confusion or delays. It is also been very reliable like no outages or major access issues in my experience. Another big plus is how accessible it is worldwide so connecting with partners in different countries feels effortless.
Cons
One issue I have run into is that it can get laggy or choppy even when my internet connection is strong. At first I thought the problem was with my provider but after checking, it was clear Zoom itself was causing the lag especially in larger meetings. I do not really notice this during one on one or small group calls but in big meetings, the choppiness and delay become much more noticeable.

“good for meetings”
Pros
Overall it's been very reliable for group meetings and even courtroom appearances. It has all the features I need and it works really well with my high-end video camera.
Cons
It takes a while to load. Moving between phone and PC can be frustrating too and there are moments when I end up having to figure out the room number and passcode from the meeting link.

“Helpful for remote meetings”

“Fantastic calls and calendar sync”
Pros
Getting started with it is incredibly easy. Plus it connects nicely with my Outlook Calendar and both audio and video quality have been consistently very good. It also makes it simple to talk with other team members without any hassle.
Cons
The scheduler feature could definitely be better. Like I have tried to set up meetings for my coworkers and boss but they never show up on their calendars. Though I am not sure if it's something I am doing wrong or a limitation of the tool but it has not worked for me.

“Powerful features and quick setup”
Pros
The fact I love is that getting started with it is pretty easy and the setup process is simple too. It also comes with plenty of features that add value to the experience whether you are hosting a meeting or joining one as a participant.
Cons
One issue I ran into was not really with the tool itself but with how it was introduced at a previous job. We were switched over to it with very little training so it was harder to make proper use of some of the key features.

“Fantastic for remote meetings”
Pros
Using it has not been a problem at all and it covers everything I need for remote collaboration. I can jump on video calls or voice calls, share my screen when presenting and use the recording feature when I need to save meetings for later. Overall it's been an excellent tool for teamwork, collaboration and online meetings.
Cons
After I have joined a meeting, the app sometimes starts reinstalling itself or running an update. Though it is not a big issue and it might just be because I do not always keep it fully updated but it can still be a little annoying.

“excellent connection quality”
Pros
Connection quality stays consistently excellent, even when bandwidth is low. It is also very user-friendly as you can join a meeting with just one click, without creating an account or downloading bulky software.
Cons
The note taking feature still needs work and the screen sharing option can be pretty confusing when you are the one presenting.

“All in one workplace hub”
Pros
Zoom brings meetings, chat, email, calendars and whiteboards into one place which makes day to day work much easier to stay on top of. The video call quality is also better than a lot of competing platforms and it offers more useful calling options as well.
Cons
One problem is that it feels too focused on meetings. Also adding extras like Zoom Phone, Webinars or advanced AI features can quickly drive up the total cost.

“Flexible for sharing and replay links”
Pros
One thing that works really well with it is that attendees can join a call without having their own Zoom account or even installing the app. Screen sharing including computer audio is very simple. On the Mac app, I can move the call window over whatever I am presenting which helps me arrange my screen the way I like. The whiteboard feature is also very useful. I also appreciate that when I record meetings, I can just send people a link to the replay instead of uploading the file somewhere else like YouTube.
Cons
A downside is that the included storage for meeting recordings fills up very quickly. Since the lowest annual business plan is not cheap, I often have to download the recordings I want to keep and free up space for only the calls I want to leave accessible via a replay link. The settings pages are also very cluttered and seem to get rearranged often which makes it harder than it should be to find what you need especially when setting up workshop sessions in advance.

“Handy screen sharing and recording”
Pros
Built-in screen sharing and recording are the features I like most in this tool especially because I can use them right away while giving presentations.
Cons
Just keep in mind that the free version limits calls to 40 minutes. Other than that, I have not really had any issues.

Pros
Something that really works well is how attendees can join a call without needing an account or even installing the app. Screen sharing including audio, is very convenient and on the Mac app I can move the call window over whatever I'm presenting which makes it much easier to arrange my screen the way I want. The whiteboard is useful too. I also appreciate that when I record meetings, I can just send someone a link to the replay page instead of uploading the file somewhere else like youtube for people to watch it.
Cons
A drawback is that the starting storage space for recordings is pretty limited. Since the lowest annual business plan isn't exactly cheap, I often have to download the recordings I want to keep and free up the software's storage for only the meetings where I still want to share a replay link. Also the settings pages feel very convoluted and seem to get rearranged often which makes it frustrating to find what you need especially when setting up workshop sessions ahead of time.

“smooth joining”
Pros
Hosting webinars and larger sessions has been really dependable! The audio and video stay strong even when a lot of people are in the meeting and it's smooth to join from just about any device. There's very little setup involved which makes a big difference when you're coordinating a large group.
Cons
Issue is the time limit on the free plan which can get in the way during longer sessions or training events. A few of the more advanced settings are also tucked away and aren't very accessible to find.

Pros
It's gone way beyond basic meetings now! Chat, phone, whiteboard, scheduling and docs are all tied together in one place! Having everything connected like that really cuts down on wasted time.
Cons
